Name: Tournament of Fate
Location: The Great Coliseum on a remote Island
Powers: None
Technology Level: Low - no guns, bombs, ect.
Genre: Low Fantasy
Style: Advanced T1
Contestants: 8-16
Races: All Welcome, within reason.

Description: The Tournament of Fate is a tournament held for those with martial prowess, though anyone can join if they wish. There is no magic of any sort allowed on the island, this includes psionics, chi, ect. Such items and abilities, even natural ones, simply don’t function while on or within 1 mile of the island.

Focus: The focus of this tournament is to promote a more realistic style of combat where it matters more about your writing skill than how powerful your fire ball is.

Races: All races are welcome, within reason. There will no dragons, giants, ect. I don’t think there will be a problem with this, most people are pretty reasonable.

Clearly defined limits: A characters limits will be clearly defined before they allowed in the tournament. I’m not going to make a stat system because I don’t think it’s needed, just keep your abilities within the realm of possibility. A fine example of this is Captain America, who is superior physical specimen but still within the limits of human possibility, he is comparable to an Olympic athlete in every event. There will be no Captain Americas.

Posting Rules: Get as brutal as you want in your posts, cussing is fine if it’s in character. Post at least once every 4 days, if you don’t your opponent gets a free post against you every day for up to three days. On the third day they can just straight up kill you. This can be wavered if you need to take a break and your opponent agrees to it, just let me know.

Character Sheets: I’m not picky. Most of you have characters you have in mind anyways. Just send me a link with who you want to use so I can go through it and let you know what they can and cannot use. I will keep all character choices a secret until I post the brackets.

Also, I will not be posting in this tournament, just refereeing.

Any questions?
