Several hours after the entrance of the Samurai.

Miyamoto looked on this battlefield with disgust. This was EXACTLY what he did not want. While his horse could survive physical exertion at this altitude with ease without its barding, Miyamoto could retain his armor thanks to the strength and endurance of Raitoningu, or so he hoped. It was almost a part of his being. Nevertheless, the first thing he did was to shed his Kabuto (Japanese full-face helmet) for unobstructed, and untied the heavy barding from his horse, but left the blanket that was worn underneath on to keep Gekalta warm. The barding was left upon the ground, but Miyamoto's honor convinced him to retain the Kabuto in the bag he used for his gunyoki and thus prevent it from falling into enemy hands.

His first maneuver was to drive Gekalta into flight, and just above the peak of the mountain, where already he could feel the nipping cold, his horse went no highe. Miyamoto strained his eyes, craned his neck, and scoured the landscape for his opponent. When he inevitably saw him, he remembered the words of his former teacher, Muhan.

"Percieve that which cannot be seen." Unfortunately, all he could perceive was that his opponent was woefully underdressed for the climate, and even that was only a guess based on a flesh colored blob where a man's chest would be, which was obscured because of the distance.

His next order of business was to unsheath Raitoningu and allow it to charge with electrical energy, making the blade turn blue, which signified the Divine Lightning was ready to be cast. Wanting to spare Gekalta as much as possible, Miyamoto guided his horse down to the peak, where he could see his opponent, and also gain the utility of the high ground.

    Atop the mountain

Miyamoto had had enough of this waiting. He charged up Raitoningu once more, then flew down full bore at Wyatt. He wanted blood. He wanted to strike for his HONOR!

So far, his opponent had not moved at all, for no apparent reason. Apparently, he wanted to die before he was tired.

Miyamoto unsheathed Raitoningu, and a mere hundred yards away he fired the powerful lightning bolt at Wyatt before following up with a turn upwards at the last second and a katana swing, a technique referred to by his enemies as "Sword Strafe".

(OOC: Sorry guys, not much to post. I don't have anything to respond to from Draigh.)

    Exit the Samurai...

The lightning bolt struck home, bringing Wyatt to all fours. His ears, bleeding and ringing, a massive third degree burn covering his open chest. His eyes glazed over, and it was clear he was completely incapacitated. Indeed, as Miyamoto flew down for the death blow, he believed his foe deserved a more honorable death than the one he was about to get, and thus, he stopped short.

Miyamoto dismounted Gekalta about 20 yards away, rushed over to his foe, and realized just how bad it was. Wyatt's jaw operated seemingly without his consent, and drool fell out of his mouth. The shock had rendered his mind completely inoperable, and now he was left in this shameful state, which even Miyamoto could not bear to look upon to see a man who at one point appeared to be a great warrior, reduced to the functionality of an infant.

So realizing his foe was no longer a threat, he unsheathed his enemy's Daito, and forcibly clasped his opponent's hands around the Daito and leaned him up against a rock, so that it would look as if he died fighting when the coup de grace came. At the same time, he drew his opponent's coat closed, covering up the gruesome burn. Miyamoto then, to give further honor to his opponent, walked back to his horse, and fired an arrow directly through his opponent's now covered chest, nailing it to the rock and keeping him upright. He then gave a low bow, mounted up on his horse, collected the barding, and left the scene, giving one last glance over his shoulder at his defeated enemy before he returned to the tower.
