>> Kage Ryuu: Perfected. A style of Ninjutsu that focuses on non-detection, alchemy, acrobatics, deception, small bladed weapons and shadow techniques. Students of Kage Ryuu are excellent at moving about unseen and undetected, they are masters of making salves and potions.
>> Shiden Style: Excellent It is combined of several different elements the first and most important being the art of drawing the sword from the scabbard and attacking, often known as Iaijutsu. The Shiden Style also teaches the art of wielding two weapons at once, most commonly two katanas, but any curved weapons can be used, finally the Shiden Style teaches Taijutsu should the user be disarmed. The Shiden Style is a precision-based martial combat, masters of the Shiden Style are able to place their blade exactly where they desire with unparalleled speed and accuracy.
>> Qi-Gong: Surreal Qi-Gong: It is the art of mastering the flow of energy in the body, the mind and the spirit through rhythmic breathing, coordinated with slow stylized repetition of fluid movement, and a calm mindful state. From a philosophical perspective Qi-Gong is believed to help develop human potential, to increase access to higher realms of awareness, and to awaken one to one's true nature.
Born on a small uncharted island the infant that would later become known as Sora was born. From the ocean the island looked like nothing more than tightly packed mountains with an active volcano at it’s center, certainly not the place to try and make a living.
This was not true for a small sect of warrior monks, known as ninja by some, shinobi by a few and simply called assassins by most. The island was the perfect training grounds for the Kage Clan, and it is where Sora was brought into the world and given the skills that would later prove to be the foundation of something great and terrible.
From an early age it became obvious that Sora was not like the other children, he was in a constant state of tranquility free from anxiety and emotional disturbances. In this way nothing could ever upset or shake the young boy, even death could not bring him down.
This was proven when Sora was nineteen years of age and was ordered to murder his entire family. He performed the deed flawlessly as ordered. His mother, father, siblings, grandparents even his wife and children were all poisoned by the young man. While fully capable of discerning right from wrong still Sora was not shaken by the ordeal and merely moved on, accepting it as it was.
While on contract for his village Sora came into contact with a powerful Ma’raddim, Shin Shiden. The warrior was interested by the young man and intended to see how genuine this boys ‘sickness’ truly was. He presented Sora with a great artifact, one capable of causing destruction on a cataclysmic level and presented Sora with an option. Take the artifact and cast it into the volcano at the heart of his home island and become Shins pupil or fight the Ma’radiim in combat.
To Sora the option was an easy one and he did as he was directed and traveled to the top of the volcano where he did as he was told. The result was much more devastating than even Sora could of dreamed, he not only succeeded in the destruction of his homeland but the entire island chain was lost to the sea because of the subsequent earthquake.
Sora survived the event and sought out Shin to receive the training he was promised. Shin Shiden got more than he bargained for with the youth and he soon discovered that like himself Sora possessed the ability to channel The Song. Excited by the prospects of what he could do with such a weapon Shin began training his newly named apprentice, giving him the name Sora which meant ‘Empty’ in Shins native tongue.
Like all Ma’radiim before him Sora underwent the ceremony of transcendence, a secret and to seem deadly event. Sora persevered through and at the age of twenty five was the second youngest Ma’radiim ever initiated, next to the Grand Master and legend Shin Shiden himself.
Years passed and Sora eventually rose to the rank of Ma’radiim of the First Echelon, third in rank behind Shin Shiden and Kensaki Kashou. For unknown reasons however Sora suddenly left the order of the Ma’radiim and decided to become a hand for hire, nothing more than a common mercenary. What is even more odd is that his mentor Shin did nothing to stop his pupil from leaving, something that has made many of the other Ma’radiim nervous. For no one has ever been allowed to walk away from the order before and those that tried were brutally cut down, something only two members were capable of and neither of them lifted a finger.
>>>>>>> Flaws:
>> Atraxia: Sora is in a constant state of tranquility, no situation or problem can bring him out of this euphoria. While many confuse this for a blessing those that understand the human psyche know how big of a handicap this can be, especially for one that lives a life of constant danger. With his flaws comes a laundry list of other defaults when dealing with others or attempting to be empathetic.
