    Half demon x Half angel. (Sanquin / AHeartless)

    Name: Jack Frost. (Has a 'real' demon name, but no one knows about it.)
    Age: 22ish looking.
    Appearance: http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...49-d42b0y5.jpg
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    First day on the job. It was about time someone accepted him. Some called him too unreliable to take in, but that wasn't true. He just joined the side that he knew was winning. It had always been his course of action. Today though he was allowed into a gang. He grinned as he walked to the entrance. There seemed to be quite some fuss going around. And the place looked pretty damaged right now. Maybe another gang? "Hey you!" A guy called to him. He raised a brow as about three guys surrounded him. "You one of them?!" One asked.
    "Me? I'm just a new guy. I don't know any of them." "You're one of them then!" Jack walked past the guys to the entrance. The leader was standing there with a lighter in his hands and the inside of the building smelled like gasoline. "I didn't say that. But tell you what..." He chuckled as he grabbed the guy's lighter. "How about I prove my loyalty to you guys instead?" "Bastard what are you planning!" "Just lighting a cigarette...hush..." Jack replied.
    He took one out of his pocket and lit it with the lighter, then as he exhaled he looked to the boss. "Funny thing about fire..." He mused, glancing to the other guys. "I've always found it fascinating, but I just can't figure out why." Then he threw the lighter into the building. Immediately the gasoline ignited, setting the whole bottom floor ablaze. Once again Jack chuckled. "Or it might be the screams of terror that often follow fires...I dunno."
    "Heh, I kinda like you." The boss spoke, grinning. "Fine, you can join us. Welcome to Yomi."
    Name: Miressia Tenshi but she goes by Claira
    Age: Looks about 19
    Appearence: Long blonde hair that consist of spiral curels and reach down to her hips. Her hair has some blue streaks in it, that most would think were dyed, but all the streaks are natural. Her eyes are blue but when shown in the light, you see they are actually purple. She has pale skin and rosey cheeks. She is average height for a female. She has a good figure, but hides it under clothes that are baggy. She looks fragile which is true, but she's very fast so it's hard for people to catch her. Her wings are white with a blue tint.
    Did she smell...smoke? She looked up from the book she was reading and walked over to the window of her house, taking a peek outside. Yes, it was smoke. Coming from a building up the street. There were people in there! Who in their right mind would just set a building on fire? She quickly dropped her book and ran down the stairs, out her door.
    It didn't take long for her to the get to the building, but when she did, it was too late. The fire was too much. If there had been people inside, they were gone by now. She frowned deeply and watched as finally the fire department came to the scene. They asked her questions but the only thing she could say was that she had just got there and that she didn't know who could have done something like this.
    They left a couple of hours later, and though they had advised no one going into the building, she did anyway.
    She coughed a bit from the left over smoke and began the search. She wasn't sure what she would find, but still wanted to find something, anything that would leave her a clue as to who had down this.
    That's when she saw somehting sticking up from the ashes. She frowned more and walked over, scooping it up and looking at it. It was a chain that someone would wear aroudn their neck. She had seen this before.
    She worked at a resturant and there was a boy who came in on occasion. He wore this.
    She put the chain in her pocket and left the remnents of the building, back to her own house.
    (I wasn't exactly sure how to link him to the fire, so I put the chain in there. Hope you don't mind)
    (ah, crap, forgot about that. But a chain is fine.)
    The group left in some cars. And this time Jack joined in as well. There was still enough room for him. They were heading to their own headquarters apparently. Maybe the boss was a bit easy to trust, or maybe the guy just noticed right away that Jack was a guy he could trust to at least not stab them in the back and rat them out right away to other gangs. He seemed to have either that effect on people, or the immediate distrust from said people. This time it had worked out in his favour.
    The day passed with some kind of initiation. He had to provide the gang with something of value before he could join as well. Which was in the form of the address that he had been told to go to to meet the recruiter of the other, rival gang. It was enough. He was accepted. Then after that he went home for a while.
    But in the evening he decided to go to his favourite little restaurant in the area. It was small, but the food was cheap enough and the people that hung out there knew him enough to trust him. But not enough to distrust him...just the perfect balance of knowledge. So he headed out, to the bus stop, and got out again 3 stops later. It was around dinner time now so he might as well get a meal there. The man stepped into the restaurant and sat in his regular spot near the window. He always liked looking out to the street, watching people. Or rather, training his observation skills. Who was weak, who was strong, who was bad news, who was just a law-abiding citizen. He managed to get it right about 3/4 of the time these days, though there were still plenty of mistakes he made.
    Once back at her home, she had to put her waitress outfit on. It wasn't something she like to wear. It was a short shirt and a halter top, but she really had no choice in the matter. the manager said it brought in more costumers, but she herself just believed the man just liked to see them wear it. A bit of eye candy if you will.
    Once dressed she went out to her car and by the time that she got there it was dinner time and word be dark in around an hour. She walked in through the employee's entrance, getting her small pad that she wrote orders down on and walked out to the dinning area.
    Sure enough, there he was, the same man who she had always seen wear the chain she had found. It wasn't around his neck, so she knew that it must have been his.
    She made her way over to him, giving him the smile that she gave all the costumers and asked him what his order was. The best thing about being half angel, was that she always had this innocence about her, so no one ever expected her to do anything wrong are to have secrets.
    Once she had found out what he wanted and written it down, she walked in the back, giving the order to the cook before coming out, serving a few others, then went back in the kitchen to find that his plate was ready. She took the plate, but before walking out, wrapped the chain around the cup that had his drink and went back into the area, setting his food and drink in front of his, raising a knowing eyebrow abotu the chain before she went to take care of other people.
    After a bit his favourite waitress came to see him. Not only because she was a looker, but there was something about her that seemed off. Something that wasn't entirely right. But he couldn't place what it was. He smiled at her playfully, then gave her his order, his eyes casually looking her over a little. The restaurant's owner was smart, letting the waitress' wear short skirts and halter tops. Eye candy got in more customers after all.
    After about 10 minutes the girl returned with his tea and omelette. He picked up his cup when he saw something that quite surprised him. He raised a brow as he picked up his necklace from the plate. A cross with a snake wrapped around it, the snake looking a bit demonic. He chuckled softly as he glanced towards the waitress again. He had lost this the day before, yet hadn't been near the restaurant. So...how had this girl gotten a hold of it? And was she trying to test him or just giving it back? Things seemingly had gotten a little interesting today.
    Jack kept eating quietly until he was finished. Then he paid the bill and left as if nothing was wrong. He wondered if the girl would take a break to follow him, or if this was it. If she'd follow him though, there would be quite a bit of trouble ahead he figured...he disliked harming the pretty faces.
    Claira continued to serve tha tother guests in the resturant, taking orders and bringing them back out. But of course, she would glance the boy's way every once and a while. He was acting as if there was nothing wrong, as if it wasn't a suprise that she had found his necklace when it was no where near the restraunt. That annoyed her very slightly, but she easily hid it and continued her work like she normally would do.
    When she saw him get up to leave though, she finished serving her last guest before heading into the kitchen, "Morry, I'm taking my break."
    The cook grunted in aknowledgment and she left, still wearing her uniform. She hadn't brought a change clothes so she had to wear it. Besides, it wasn't like it looked bad. It looks like normal clothes, just clothes that more of a 'easy' kind of girl would wear. She easily ignored the looks of males that passed her by, staring her up and down, and continued to make her way down the street, being sure to keep a distance from ehr target, but not letting him get out of her sight.
    Jack decided to take a short cut to the bus stop. So he went through an alley. Or so he made it seem. It wasn't really a short cut, just a different path to take, which was maybe even a tiny bit longer even if it seemed shorter. Once he entered the alley he however hid himself right away. As he knew the girl was following him by now. He waited there, patiently, for her to walk in as well. And then pass him as well.
    Then suddenly he jumped out behind her with a grin. "Well hello there sexy. Don't you know it's dangerous to follow people like me into alley's?" He asked evilly, stepping closer. His eyes had turned almost completely black right now, and his skin seemed to show some kind of demonic markings at his neck and temples. He had kept his wings hidden though, as this place was too small to take those out as well. "Following people like me can get you killed after all."
    Claira frowned as she walked further in the alleyway and saw that she had lost sight of him. Or, at least, thats what she thought at first.
    A voice behind her proved her wrong though. She frowned as he spoke. Dangerous. Yeah right. Not to her. She had enough power to keep herself safe, but she wasn't going to show those powers yet. She made sure to keep herself in check, so that her markings and wings didn't come out, though her eyes changed to their natural violet.
    She didn't turn to look at him but instead, spoke, "Flames can kill too. Mind tellling me what your necklace was doing at the sight of that fire?"
    Jack smirked. So she had been there and found his necklace. So that was where he had dropped it. The man stepped a bit closer, finding her bravery quite admirable in keeping her back towards him. "Why my necklace was there? Oh, no reason really. I just happened to hang out in front of the building for a bit. Oh, by the way, did you happen to find the lighter I 'accidentally' dropped there as well?" He chuckled, though decided to play it a bit cautiously and keep a distance of about 6 feet from her.
    "Turn around love. I like looking people in the eyes when I kill them." He thought for a moment and then shrugged. "Or not...I don't mind killing you like this either." Still she didn't seem scared though. So this wasn't your average girl. Maybe she had taken self-defence classes? Or maybe she was some kind of police officer or something? Well, no matter. Jack decided to take out the glove he had custom made. Demons had claws, he didn't. But technology could easily make a glove with claw-like blades at the fingers. So it would have to do.
    Claira frowned deeply when he spoke. Look people in the eye as he kills them? So he had killed people before. She wasn't sure whether to be digusted or just plain out angery about that, but still, she showed no emotion on her face as she turned around to face then, her expression plain.
    She watched as he put a on glove onto his hand, one that had metal blade, making it look like he had claws. She looked up, her stunning violet eyes meeting his own black eyes. Normal humans didn't ahve black eyes. This boy right there in front of her was no human. There was really only one kind of creature that she knew to have those smoldering eyes.
    Demon.
    Well, obviously he wasn't whole demon. Maybe half?
    She glared lightly at him and crossed her arms, "You think you're so bad huh? Well, go ahead, kill me if you want, but let me assure you, there are consqences for killed a born angel, even if only half.
    (this may possibly be my last post until Sunday night or monday. Going camping.)
