(Aww. Well okay have fun then.)

Jack's grin widened even more as the girl finally turned around. Violet eyes...humans didn't have violet eyes. So unless she was wearing lenses she was a heavenly creature. Celestial, half-celestial, angel, half-angel...this should be fun. Well unless she was an angel. Then he was toast. That's when she explained that she was only a half-angel. Not a smart thing to do as that meant that it was highly likely that they were about evenly matched in strength. And hey, if he killed a half-angel surely that would score some brownie points down below. Maybe get him into the underworld a bit quicker and become a full demon.

He chuckled softly and shrugged. "You should know as well as I do that this life isn't the one that matters. For you and me that is. If we die, and we've pleased the right people, we'll become full-bloods. So hey...consequences I don't care about..." Then without warning he charged at the girl. His claw was out-stretched. This was usually his way of fighting. Head on, with force. Dodging and running were tactics he didn't get as much enjoyment out of.

Thanks to Genkai for my sig.

When he ran at her, Claira quickly dodged it, ducking so his claw went right over her head. She was much faster then she was strong. Speed was something that she had a lot of, but when it came to strength, well, she was a little sort on that part of the gene pool. She just guessed that she got it from which ever of her parents were human and her speed from the angel parent.

She stood up straight and glared at him, her white wings finally coming out and her markings glowing from the tips of her fingers, all the up to the side of her neck, and also going down her legs, "Very true, I would like to get to heaven, just as you want to get to hell, but our time here on earth without he mortals is out judgement. We are here so the superiors can evaluate us. If we leave too early it might affect our chance of getting in, don't you agree?"

The woman dodged...she was fast. Really fast. It seemed that she wasn't the same as him. He was strong, yet she was fast. This was going to be a tough fight then. As he wasn't used to fighting someone that could probably dodge his attacks most of the time. "Just dodging all the time won't help you in the end..." He spoke, taking a step back. The woman had fully revealed her angelic side now. She tried to reason with him. Leaving the mortal world too early having a bad influence. Well that wasn't how he saw it, at all.

"Affect our chances? Wrong! It's actions, not time that determines whether we'll be accepted or not. And like I said, killing someone like you will score me quite a few points! I'm willing to put my life on the line for that. Are you?" He chuckled and attacked again. This time he struck lower, but didn't leave it at that. It was actually a feint, to get her to react and think she had dodged his attack again. He followed it up right away with a kick, which was faster and stronger than the strike with his claw he had just tried. "But it's only natural that we have different views. Angels are always so goodie-two-shoes after all!" So far Jack was enjoying the fight. Strong opponents were rare. Even more so divinely influenced opponents like her.

Claira quickly dodged the claw again, but was quite suprised when his foot hit the back of her leg. She a sharp gasp of pain she feel to the ground, holding her leg for a moment. He was strong. Very strong. She was sure it was probably broken, and though angels could heal pretty fast, the question was, with her being half angel, could she heal fast enough to fully protect herself from him. She slowly stood, keeping all her weight on her good leg, glaring at him, "And demons always want to go straight to hell."

There was a quickly shove of her good foot and she flapped her wings a good time so that she was in the air, only a few feet up, but enough so that her hurt leg wouldn't affect her fighting, "You want to fight to the death? Fine. But don't blame me when you're stuck here on earth."

(Hey now you said nothing about healing. ^^;; How about this...instead of weeks it'll take a day or two? As then I have a plan for how to end this fight without them killing each other. :P)

His second attack hit. And as it did he could hear a crack coming from her bones. Good. Now he was at the advantage. She couldn't dodge and run as fast with a broken ankle. However she spread her wings and took off into the air again. The girl spoke about finally accepting his challenge of fighting. But he doubted she actually knew what that meant; fighting to the death. He had been in several life or death fights already, and she probably hadn't.

The man chuckled and spread his black and red winds as well. Unlike most demons, his were feathered just like an angel. So it was likely that he wasn't 100% full demon, but rather a close descendant of a fallen angel. One or two generations back or something. Which still meant he had demon blood in him of course.

"You wanna fight in the air now? Fine by me! Physical speed hardly matters in the air since our wings do the work here~" Not entirely true. Reflexes and dodging was still part of her bodily speed. But he would be just as fast as her now if she ran or something similar.

(That's what I meant. Anywhere between a few hours to a few days, depending on the wound of course. If it was instantly that wouldn't be any fun. :P)
She glared at him as he took off into the air. She was a little suprised when his wings were not like a bats wings, but they were feathered, like a birds. Maybe he was not part demon, but fallen angel? She shook her head. That didn't matter. She knew she really couldn't hurt him, but maybe she could out smart him?

She watched as he came at her again. He was faster int he air of course, but she was still just a tad faster. She dodged once more hovered a bit in front of a wall. When he came at her again, she dropped, letting her good foot touch the ground, just in time to where he hit the wall. She took off int he air again before she looked at him. There was a crack in the brick wall, but he seemed okay. Probably part of his strength.

She stood, waiting for his next attack.

Jack tried to stop but it was no use. Not this close to the wall at least. He crashed into the wall with his shoulder first. It left a nice little crack in the wall, but nothing that would be very noticeable since it was quite a few feet from the ground, above eye level. He grunted and looked down to see that the girl was flying upwards again to ready for his neck attack. But this time he wouldn't make the same mistake. If she was going to try to outsmart him he was going to use his wit as well, and play dirty.

The man did the same kind of attack again, charging at the half-angel fiercely. However this time he was prepared for a dodge. Rather, he aimed to grab her by her hair to stop her from fleeing him, and then swing her towards the ground again. Then after that he'd probably try to land on her wings, to make sure she wasn't going to fly away again. That, or just land on herself if she would retract her wings. Either way, he planned on first stopping her speed, before really doing some damage.

Claira watched the half demon, waiting for a attack to possibly come her way and when it did, she tried to dodge, but then was suprised when he grabbed a handfull of her hair by it's root, basically throwing her to the ground before he stood onto her wings. She stuggled for a moment before retracting her wings, only to have him hold her down.

She continued to to struggle, trying to escaoe his grasp, but the boy's strength was much more powerful then her own.

Jack chuckled, retracting his wings as well. He had her now, good! "You're mine! Say hi to me to your angel friends~" He was about to strike when suddenly he heard...something. Someone was approaching! As if almost in panic he quickly turned back to normal. And luckily the girl did the same as well. No matter which side you were on, if you were discovered as what you were apart from when you got special permission, you would never become a full blood, and would instead become full human.

The glove was also very quickly taken off and he stepped off of Claira, kneeling beside her instead. "Oh my god, what happened here?!" A man exclaimed. Someone apparently wanted to use one of the alley's doors... "This woman's injured! Call 911. She needs to get to a hospital!" Jack spoke, moving to pick her up in his arms. Hopefully she was smart enough to play along. As that way at least no one would find out about who the two of them really were...

Oh, how she wanted to claw his eyes out when he lifted her up into his arms, but she of course restrained herself and decided it best to just play along. Couldn't get them discovered, now, could she. Well, most of her minor injuries were already healed up execpt for her ankle and a few little scrapes. She looked at the man who had came out, "I'm alright, really, just had a little fall."

Still, 911 was called, in case she hit her head, and she went to the hospital in a ambulence. They took her to a room, saying she needed to stay there over night for percautions.

Her ankle was wrapped up and when that was done she was left alone. She sighed and layed back in the bed, closing her eyes lightly, "Worst. Day. Ever."
