    Oh goodness....fell asleep while trying to write last night; woke up the next morning with my head a few inches away from the keyboard. Lol. XP

    I'm hanging out with a friend soon, but that post is at least halfway done, so I have some motivation to finish it. Bu huh...that's unfortunate, Blondini. I"ll be takin college seminars soon, so perhaps I'll be able to share your pain. XP

    And it was actually a little while ago, but I did go to France...it was a school trip. It's the only 'holiday' I can think of that happened recently. XP. And I've been doing okay, if a little stressed from the prospect of making decisions that affect the rest of my life. o.O

    Hm. Well, there we go.

    I've been re-reading my favorite book series, and I've been really drawing inspiration from the way the author writes. He has a way describing everything in beautiful detail, so a bit of that has been woven into this post. But being descriptive also means detailing even the more unpleasant things...so, the beginning of the post is a bit graphic. But yeah. XP

    It's funny how my writing often sounds like the style of the author I've been reading the most of recently, so I've been trying to surround myself with good writing. But anyway, yeah, the beginning of the post is also a bit like what I did for C&C. I thought it would make sense for the deaths to cause the characters to recall their previous encounters with death, so I did so for Rey and Enya. The background also explains their reactions to what's currently happening as well. It also give me an excuse to write a lot. XD

    I'll likely get a post up on Sun, it not Tue, as Mon will be dedicated to getting my homework turned in and tomorrow I have a party at my house with some family, which doesn't please me but with any luck I'll get on late in the evening if I can do anything.

    Ooh, France! How was it? And college isn't bad, just these seminars were...unnecessary. I love most of it ^_^ which author are you reading?

    I might be able to post Monday or Tuesday if not tomorrow.

    It was AMAZING. Also awesome because I know a lot about French history and culture now. Oh, we also went to Monaco (which is along the south of France), a few days before the Grand Prix there. It was cool to come back and then watch the people on TV race down the streets I had recently been on. OH, and I saw Madagascar 3 yesterday, and they went to Monaco as well! It looked just like I remembered it, just animated. It's cool how much more about the world I understand now.

    And oh, that's good. I really hope I do like college. ^^ And I was reading The Bartimaeus Trilogy, written by Jonathan Stroud. It's my favorite series of all time....everything about it - the characters, the plot, the way it's written - is amazing. If you guys haven't read it, you should; you won't regret it. ^^

    That sounds great Snow! Wenever got cool school trips like that. I can't wait to be able to travel, it's one of the first thingsi plan to do when I finish my degree and get some money. What are you thinking of studying at college? Was Madagascar 3 good? It doesnt release here for ages =(

    Oh, I read that once, a while ago. I remember enjoying it- although I think I only read them first two. I have to say though, as far as favourite authors go mine has to be Robin Hobb at the moment. I love the way she can make just about every character- good or bad- seem like a real person, someone relatable and someone you can emotionally invest in while reading her stories. If I could manage a tenth of her writing ability I would be happy.

    Yeah, it was a pretty rare opportunity, and we had to raise a lot of money. But it was soooo worth it. But yes, travel when you can. It's amazing. ^^. As for college, at the moment I'm going to study for a computer degree - possibly Computer Science, though I'm still deciding. Crazy thing is, I'm not even sure that that's what I want to do. It's all a bit complicated, haha. ^^;

    Oh, and the movie was pretty good. It's your average cheesy kid's movie, but it was cute, with some pretty good moments. Like all of these popular animated movie series, though, it just can't measure up to the first one. Oh, except for maybe Toy Story...those ones just got better and better. XD

    And oh...man, the third book is the best one. XD. I bet you'd like it if you got around to finishing. I can't even begin to explain how much I love those books, and how much the author's inspired me as a writer. But huh...hm, I've never heard of her. Are there any books of hers that you like in particular?

    I'm totally going to. It's going to be incredible. I'm also hoping to work in America if I can, or Britain somewhere. That incorperates travel with money- two birds in one haha. Hey, Comp sci is pretty cool-I picked it up a paper on it this year- but don't stress if it turns out it's not your thing. I find that I am rare with having known what I've wanted to do for ages, so dont be afraid to explore your options- especially in first year.

    Looks like it could be a laugh. I know the feeling about animated series, although I can't say I got into Toy Story much. I ignored it as a kid so when I went back to it I was probaly too old to really get into it without the nostalgia factor.

    Really? I might have to get them out of the library in that case. I don't think it was quite out when I read the first two which would be why I didn't read it. I also had a really hard time getting hold of the books, if I remember correctly. Hmm.. I can't pick a favourite but definatly stay away from the Soldier Son Trilogy- that is awful. The Farseer Trilogy and the Tawny Man Trilogy are somewhat lower fantasy, in that there is some magic and the story revolves around it but its not all fantasy species and stuff. The Liveship Traders and the (incomplete) Rain Wilds Chronicles are slightly higher fantasy, especailly the last, revolving around dragons and their near extinction. Probably the Farseer trilogy is the best place to start to get a feel for her; and they are all in the same world so chronolgically they go farseer, liveship, tawny then rain wilds.

    Wow, page four! I think we'll be sticking to developing our characters, I wouldn't expect fighting unless I manage to snag a new member for this or something. So our characters are probably going to focus on one another, perhaps school and tending to their cause since it's obvious it risks their life, they can't really afford to back out now.
