I enjoy the good use of first person as well as the creativity used in chapter 1. I found that the story was both interesting and allowed myself to be absorbed into the story. Obviously I was confused by how old he was but still I liked the descriptions as well as the inner dialogue. Additionally I saw you spelled plate incorrectly, but that's not important. Overall, I'd say 9/10, it was a nice introduction, and I found myself absorbed into the story. The only thing I was confused about was the age and then the tantrum kind of put me off, but that's just me. It's like watching the goonies, it's a great movie, but the screaming pisses you off.
