Oh anime is such a general term. The only real consistancy is the fact that it is fiction, and even that line is sometimes blurred.

Thanks for the siggy Harby san. You definitely know my tastes.

*finished Code Geass for the first time*
Damn that was a good anime. Finally someone who knows how to make a proper open ended finish. It was very well executed, whoever constructed the plot certainly knew what they were doing, as not one event was ever wasted, and there were many times when the show promised a happy ending that the reality of the situation could not possibly live up to. If I knew military history better, it seemed like this was trying to connect to the past, to get a powerful message across. However, even without that, I find the entire story highly relateable. Having power you don't understand, wanting something so bad you hurt others unintentionally, losing a friend because you hold different ideals, and abandoning your dreams to find purpose, these were all themes presented throughout. To top it all off, it was simply epic. The plot was dynamic and unpredictable. The characters were all clever, and acted in a way consistant to their character at all times, yet I could never lose interest in their cunning. My rating for this anime 9.3/10

*just applied to try and become a comrade*
I'm pretty excited, but I'm not certain they will choose me. Truth be told, I haven't even been here a year, and I am not a perfect writer. I do think that I am capable though, and after seeing that love that panda was trying to be a comrade, I figured I should at least try. Wish me luck

No one's a perfect writer on here, everyone has room to improve. Aren't comrades divided up by sections or did I imagine that lol. Either way good luck Luna.

As an aside wtf is up with this site and constantly timing out lately?

Too much epicness contained in such a small space. We have our mods, and contra fates, and then the rest of our writers. The sever struggles daily just to handle our talent, so sometimes spikes in epicness cause it to become discouraged and give up for short periods of time. But don't worry, Mahz is upgrading the server [/unseriousness]

To be honest it happens at around the same time everyday. I've just about gotten used to it. I'm thinking about restarting A Herald's Call pretty soon. Would you still have interest if I changed up the mission system into me just picking out what happens?

Ha I could make a sex metaphor here but I'll save sullying your thread with my weirdness for now .

I'd still be interested, only in one rp now as it is and the gm's lax so I'd have time for it. Explain a bit more what you mean by the second part, just predetermined results or what? If you ever need helps with ideas and such to just holla.

Pretty much, instead of picking where to go next, we would just be following predetermined objectives. It would work similarly to the way it had before, as far as fighting goes. I'm not sure if the entire cast is still here, but I will guarentee spots for all previous members, even if they choose to play different characters.

Also I make the rules here, so feel free to make small jokes here and there. As long as you have something to talk about with me, I don't mind a little fun. After all, what is the point of this thread if it isn't a fun place to hang out with me?

That sounds like a plan, predetermined usually works out for the best since it allows more structure than a sandlot type thing. Was it going to be in Casual again?

Well your here so it's already a fun place . You say that now but when you see some of my jokes your face will look like this.

Lol, I'm a regular spammer. I think that nothing you do here(although don't try and prove me wrong), will be any worse than what has gone down in there. Although, way to score brownie points with me. It is nice to see more people talking to me on the thread. Although I am a bit curious as to what exerpt I am going to pick for my next post. I will likely give another anime review soon, but I still would like to find something nice to share.

EDIT: Yes, it will remain the same level so I don't scare off the previous members. However my writing has improved since I made that thread.

That is true I don't think I can out do some of the people on here though I did find some really fucked up shit while googling the other day. Actually have a picture I'll share in a sec that made me go what the fuck. Eh I try to be nice to most people, everyone likes compliments.

That's good, casual is a nice level in my opinion. Advanced used to scare the crap out of me because I thought they were all self righteous pricks but I was wrong in that regard lol. Look forward to seeing how you've improved, I'll try to avoid my walls of text this time.
