Name : Octal Chaser / Base-8
Bio : Octal Chaser, or Base-8 is the prototype for the 8th generation Knight Faker program, which revolves around training orphans to be included as agents into the Library's branches or to be sold as youth soldiers to potential buyers. Octal is unable to express sorrow, anger, fear, and generally feelings associated with "Loss" as a result of the mental conditioning that she went through to reach the current state of hers. As such, she has a very optimistic outlook on life and everything else.
Octal is 15 as of now and is a recruit fresh from the institute. Her personality is that of a cheerful young girl with a closet-full of secrets. She tackles every task (and almost everything else) with a heartfelt smile and murders with a delightful grin. She is heterochromatic by nature and is very fond of all things cat-ish.

Holder : Knight (Faker)
Spirit : Knight of Eight. An alter-ego, or a secondary personality of Octal, which was birthed through extensive mental conditioning since her youth. It is an artificial spirit projected through the help of a permanent, magically-induced Placebo effect in the depths of Octal's mind. Eight is pretty much Octal flipped horizontally. Whereas Octal's red eye pupil is on the left side, Eight has its on the right. Aside from that, Eight shares its voice and personality with Octal.
- Pixel Sniper : Eight projects a crossbow which it wields to launch sharp needle-like magical projectiles of a pixel's height and width, with the length of a meter long. These microscopic needles will attempt to pierce through any form of armor or magical defenses, dealing damage based on Octal's SPI.
- Texel Painter : Eight can work as a distraction should its master be tracked. Though, once it goes into the melee range of an enemy, it will project a formless matter which contains the texture and color information of its surrounding environment, which will persist to stain the senses of enemies within a 10-foot radius centering on the target. This causes visual delusion and confusion in the enemies afflicted. There are ways to tell them apart, the heterochromia is one way about it.
- Voxel Architect : Eight projects technicolor puzzle pieces in the surrounding space to block incoming magical attacks. Two forms are available: individual pieces that reduce magical attacks by Octal's SPI/x with x=number of pieces; a completed puzzle block which is governed by Octal's total SPI. Attacks with damages below the equations are negated.
