Hey Tayo, I recently Started a post-apoc RP and was needing a map for it. I tried to make one my self but I'm crap with drawing software and by hand.

Give a rough description of your world: it is the eastern portion of the Zone of Alienation around Chernobyl. It is a vast expanse of steppes with small towns scattered about. Shape wise it is a small rectangle section. strange mutant animals prowl the lands and anomalies dot the landscape.
Map type: Inland
Main locations: Chernobyl NPP (middle left edge), Pripyat (lower left corner)
Sub locations: Petrovske (lower right portion), the Bear's Den (upper right a little farther to the left than Petrovske) Duty, Freedom, and Military camps (Randomly along the right hand portion)
Mountains: Devils Claws(runs diagonally between the lake and the upper edge of the map)
Rivers: four unnamed rivers extending(in different directions) from a lake (middle of the map),
Forests: Red Forest(lower portion south of the NPP), Cordon Woods (extend from upper right portion to the middle right)
Other features: Swamp(surrounding the central lake and extending up the rivers), Cordon (fortified border along right edge punctuated with outposts), Main road (extending across the map from the Chernobyl NPP to beyond the Cordon), smaller roads (connecting the towns and cities to the main road)
Map type: Aged

Main locations: Trolly Tracks running from West to East. -- CVS store center right -- Local Park back right -- Neighborhood of houses along the bottom right -- Neighborhood of houses on the bottom left -- Small shopping center with five stores ( Hair Cuttery, HG Bank, Hallmark, Super Fresh, WalMart ) back left, parking lot center left, McDonalds in the northern part of the parking lot. Cemetery top right.
Sub locations: N/A
Mountains: N/A
Rivers: Creek running around the park, and up to the right corner.
Forests: Large patch in the top left corner
Other Features: Large road running from the center, north to south.
Map type: Clear
