Adeline's head snapped up at Noelle, startled by her outburst. She peeped over the bushes again. There was still no one in sight despite the loud din of shuffling feet and mumbling voices. "But there's no one out there!" she exclaimed at the puzzling scene, unsure of what the girl was going to do.
"Come on out, Sonneillon," Adeline whispered after a few moments. Trouble was brewing and there was no harm in being prepared, although Sonneillon's entrance would destroy any element of surprise they might have still held after Noelle's act of brutality against the innocent table. Not much, Adeline supposed, as the large spirit materialized in thin air before landing on the ground with an ear-splitting screech of metal. The nightmarish monstrosity reared its head and took in its new surroundings, released from the confines of her mind.
Sonneillon regarded Noelle with its inanimate eyes. 'I don't need to see to hit these invisible men, but don't get in my way, girl,' the spirit rasped. Loops of spiked chain loosened from its body, ready to lash out in wide arcs to catch anyone that may be approaching them. Adeline continued to cower behind the relative safety of the bushes.
