Stepping out of the elevator, e had to let out a small chuckle. Ramza was the first one into the room but he asked Orion to speak. Maybe he felt that, being a man of the occasional questionable motive, he might say something to offend Mr. Max. As a representative to the nations from the Library, Orion had special stakes in this one.
“Mr. Midsummer, I would like to thank you for coming forth to the Library with this request.” He bowed forward slightly showing respect that a man in his position could admit to a mistake this bad. “I promise that we will solve this as swiftly as we can.” Straightening himself, it was time to get down to business.
Taking seat at the desk he noticed the finer material that it was made out of. The room was not modest in the least bit, valuables were apparent that serve the only function of showing wealth. Orian took this job because if one country blows up, they tend to be quick to point the finger. An envoy of peace and a voice of the Library it was his job to make sure that everyone, with power at least, was happy. When powerful people are happy, they get along, and when they get along, their countries prosper.
“From reading you request I have determined that you have two problems, tow very big problems. First and foremost is the fact that you are missing a large quantity of dangerous materials. Chances are that they won’t be used for celebratory fireworks, more likely for rebellious or even terroristic acts. As such the more information that you provide us will ensure that your property gets returned to you as soon as possible. Photos, eye witness accounts, as well as the videos that my associate was referring to would be of great assistance.”
Years of politics have granted the young man with a very charismatic personality, one that never seems insulting, always companionate. His words are well chosen in meetings, though he knew the next phrase might cause some trouble. “The other matter is the fact that your explosives were stolen. From a personal perspective it would seem that your security is, shall we say, lacking in some areas. I would that that a successful man like yourself would put more effort into securing his assets than this. I hope that while we do this job, that you can do yours.”
