Rushing water, a man shouting. Were these... Echoes? Sound was faint as she was hurled around like a rag doll by a kid. Both her body and mine; too limp to fight the powers that moved her. There was something cold, but to Eowyn it didn't quite matter what it was. Her conciousness was slipping away and made place for blurry memories and familiar voices.
“Missus Rohann, missuss Rohann. Ken pulled my hair!” It was Lila, one of her students. The girl seated on the second row. Lila was what most people would call; really, really annoying, but Eowyn had to do with her. Then suddenly interrupting her memories; Eowyn spurred her eyes wide-open. Within less than a second she was coughing and spitting. The swamp showed before her eyes again and all her senses had gone from numb to full alert. Eowyn's body covulsed; four stone legs pulled together and a tall back curled up.
“Is that true, Ken?” Eowyn heard herself say, “And Lila, it's miss Rohann.”
“But you look like a missus.” The girl protested. “You dress like my mom.”
Eowyn's memory shook her head as she was about to put both Ken and Lila in the corner, when she heard something that had at the time scared her silly. “Ice giants of miniature proportions, outrageous how these pupils enact and address their educator. Why if I were standing in her boots I-” Were the first words she had ever heard Sleipnir say and Eowyn remembered pressing against her head as if she was suffering from a migraine.
“Eowyn, your liege inquires your health.”
Without the knight noticing, Sleipnir had come out and molded with her; thus saving her life. Eowyn's body felt stiff and hurt, but somehow she knew... She was going to make it.
