Hikari had no intention of moving away again right now. Though she did ask for the jug again after a minute. The girl took another few sips before handing it back. Already it was half empty. So either she had drank a lot, or Ai had. Probably a little bit of both. "I wonder if I can ever go back to being a hostess and waitress again..." She mused as she also looked up to the sky. "I mean, after travelling like this...going back to the restaurant seems so dull. Apart from the people with swords we've met, travelling with you has been nothing but great fun." She gave Ai a small smile, still a bit of a blush on her cheeks. Though by this time that could also be because of the rice wine.

Ai smiled once again, keeping her arm around Hikari before gesturing with her other hands to the night see before them, the vast ocean of black only broken up by the light of the lanterns of the ship and also the glow of the white moon above. "I told you, become a travelling cook, you get to see the world and do something you love right!?" She gives a small giggle before taking the jug back for a moment to take a sip. "Though if you want you could keep following me, after all its not like I am getting any older right?..."

Hikari sighed. "You won't age, no. But I will..." Right now, and for the next 10 years at least that wouldn't matter. But after that it would start to be noticeable. So if she went with Ai, that meant they would still have to part at some point in the future. "I don't want to think about that yet I guess. I just want to see where this adventure takes me - us - and will see again after that.

"Live in the moment, I mean its harder to do if you are like me but I have to say it is the most exciting thing I can think of to do. Just never planned that far ahead... Well other than where you are going to sleep and eat for the night of course hehe" Ai chuckled lightly before leaning against the other girl, offering her the remaining rice wine.

"I guess you're right yea...live in the moment. Makes things a bit easier to deal with at least." She smiled, taking the jug again and drinking the last little bit. Ai could certainly drink a lot...sure she had drank a lot this time as well compared to her usual, but not nearly as much as Ai. Hikari had to blush a little then, as now she finally realized that the woman had moved to lean against her. It felt nice though, and she leaned back a little, a slight smile on her lips.

Ai slowly closed her eyes as they lent against each other, and with the gentle rocking of the boat and Hikari being so warm she couldn't help but relax more and more, almost falling asleep at one point. She had spent far to long fighting and this peaceful moment was just dragging her in more and more.

Hikari blinked when she realized that Ai was starting to doze off. She smiled a little bit, then shifted a little. "Don't fall asleep here. That's bad for your back you know." The girl leaned against Ai a bit more again and sighed. "I'm not that tired yet, but if you want we can go to bed already. That way if you do fall asleep it won't be in a bad place." Plus, it was more intimate and warm under the covers. Which was definitely a nice idea for Hikari.

"Mmm well I suppose its for the best, since we don't have much else to do on deck. Lets go to bed" Ai said, stretching a little before starting to stand up, offering a hand to Hikari to help her up from the deck. Moments later Ai was heading down stairs towards the bed that they had set up, and it seems while she was down there she had cleared more space for them and even brought down a lantern from the deck. "Nice and homely~"

Hikari headed downstairs with Ai. There she noticed that the place had been made a bit more cosy now. A lantern, a bit more room, and their things tugged away in a corner as to not bother them. Even a 'curtain' made out of the bottom of their tent, so they had at least a little bit of privacy. Hikari smiled brightly as she entered the area, then thought for a moment or two. "Hmm...should I take my yukata off or not. I don't want it to get wrinkly already, but to undress here..." Both were options that had advantages and disadvantages and she couldn't make a choice.

Moving into the little area Ai laid down on the bed with a big smile moving across her face as she stretched out like a cat that had found a lovely place to sleep within the warm sun, though in this case it was a warm night. Looking up to Hikari she laid down onto her back with a smile. "Well, well. First cuddling and now stripping off for me? You have come far~" Ai couldn't help but tease the young girl in this matter, after all it was just too easy with what she had said.
