Hikari tried to ignore Ai's teasing as best as possible, but it hadn't succeeded entirely. As when she asked about food she was still blushing a little bit. Ai seemed quite excited about 'breakfast' though, so Hikari quickly headed for what was probably a kitchen. Indeed the wife of the captain stood there, brewing some tea. In a large pan there was still some rice, in another a curry sauce and on a plate stationed above a small fire laid some fish, being kept warm that way. The woman turned around and grinned. "Phew, I was almost going to put all of this away, figuring you two wouldn't show up until late afternoon. But there's still two helpings left, so get a bowl and fill 'em up~" The wife was a very homely person it seemed. She made a wonderful fisherman's wife, that was fore sure.

"Yay!" Ai cheered out loud as she moved to grab a bowl from the side, finding a clean one thankfully in the clutter of the crews already used bowls, and she even found one for Hikari which she passed off to the girl with a bright and cheerful smile. After she moved up to get her serving of food from the captains wife, giving her a bow afterword and moving off to the table in the kichen, choosing to eat there given that she didn't want to eat outside if she couldn't help it.

Hikari smiled a little at Ai's reaction. She really liked her food. Much more than humans, whom actually also needed it to survive. Either way they both got a helping and sat down at the small table in the cabin. "Thank you for the meal." Hikari thanked the wife before they both dug in.

The rest of the trip was quiet. It took another 2 hours before they were there, but then the ship had docked. The village they had arrived it was...well closer to a city than a village. The place was huge. Hikari was amazed at how far the houses seemed to go on, forgetting their mission for a few moments. "Oh my god...I would love to live here for a week or two, just to see everything." She mused as she stepped ashore.
