!!!! Placeholder for new things, and for character compilation list. !!!!
IMPORTANT: Current Tier level of the Field: 3 [4 temporarily for the exhibition match.]
Slightly less important: I forgot that part, i'll keep an eye on all threads, and I'll add in 'Environment Updates' Whether it's weather, something purposely done to alter the parameters of battle on a larger scale, or something that happens in one zone that would be noticeable in another. I'll make a short post at certain times to notify that it's a noticeable event, and if it has an effect on your zone then i'll make it known.
Lobby Thread: Silver City Lobby
Tier Thread for those who want easy access to explanations of tier descriptions whenever they end up changing IC.
Here's the map, as detailed as i can get it using paint XD Descriptions will be added below as i complete them, though it will always be useful to utilize your imagination in seeing layouts and deciding what kindof things may naturally happen in your zone.
NOTE: The proportional size of objects is not equal, their mainly just representations, You can generally Guess them, I'll also Describe them a little better at the intro to the actual battle zone threads.
[Interaction notices] Generally means people in zone's that are near to eachother can see some things that may happen in other zones.
Quadrant 1: Red, Upper Left
Zone 1: Shattered Isles, Top left: One moderately Sized Island, surrounded on one side by numerous smaller chunks that used to be parts of it, were blown or broken off to create battleground for the tournament.
The main Island has a few old Partially ruined wooden buildings on it, one particularly large amalgamation of which resembles an abandoned colonial fort, There are also pieces of some on the smaller chunks of island around it as well as in the water below. The more damaged structures have many jagged wooden edges that are often covered in mold and filth from the ages it's been since they were actually used, being cut by these is extremely likely to lead to infection.
Amongst the buildings are numerous old objects, trunks, pitch forks, farming scythes, things expected to be found on a ship meant to colonize a new island. Sometimes one may find old guns, the chances of these actually working is about 50-50 considering that they're ages old, but also haven't been used much [maybe roll a die if you decide to use one]. In the main fort there is also left over dynamite from ages past, though moldy and sweating it is extremely volatile, to a point that picking it up and throwing it is begging it to blow yourself to pieces.
Possible Starting positions for Zone 1: Any one of the smaller islands, Inside the main fort, In a number of ruined buildings on the main island.
Travel: There is a small teleportor hidden in most of the buildings that will teleport the user a precise distance in the direction they are facing when tehy enter. The distance is just enough to allow safe passage to any nearby island without running into something sharp, but cautioun must be taken doing so while fighting as the other person may lay a trap for when you go through. In the main fort is an inactive telepoter that will become active as soon as the number of people on the island have been cut in half [in other words, the only people remaining have each won against someone else.]
Zone 2: Military Observation, Right of Top left: A small location containing 2 Battleships, and 2 Air crafted carriers in fairly close proximity. The military has been perpetually suspicious of the tournament financier's activites around the abandoned Silver City, and a deal was struck to allow participants to use their ships as a battle ground, in exchange for allowing them access to watch the goings-on of the tournament and proximity should they decide to intervene.
The ships are not placed like the squares and ovals on the map xD the 2air craft carriers are side by side, about 20 feet apart, and the battleships are on either side of those in a constant patrolling pattern circle.
Pretty much anythin you can find on a military vessel can be found here, though getting below deck would risk pissing off the soldiers and instigating intervention by said soldiers. However if you can find a way to control the various guns on the ships then their free reign, same goes for the various other objects, such as bomb racks or vehicles loaded onto the ships, how they are used is up to the discretion of the participants.
Starting positions: Either corner of the Air craft carrier's, the ends of the battleships, small chance of ending up inside of it. There are no teleporters available, but plenty of other methods to get ship to ship [you can make your own of course]
Zone 3: Ship graveyard: A place where numerous wrecked ships are dumped, mainly things that have either crashed or attempted to raid the city. They've been stripped of original items, though some modern and medieval bits of items have been scattered about the non drowned parts of the ships for contestants to play with. There are occasional rope bridges scattered between the wrecks to allow movement between them, and the make of the ships tends to be things from many periods of the last few 100 years.
Quadrant 2: Pink, Upper Right
Zone 1: Outpost Island, Top Right: And old abandoned military outpost from an old war, complete with large concrete bunkers with heavy machineguns, boxes of ammo and grenades, and even anti ship guns watching the sea. Of course, it's all practically ancient and is as likely to blow up in your face as it is to be a useful tool against your opponent. There are also some trenches and wooden shacks scattered about the landscape, along with numerous craters from sea bombardment and various beach theme's on the edges, a dock, and large Tank blockers still present.
Warning: There is also a Mine field, though the locations of mines are clearly marked now, they are part of the battle field and have been upgraded with a teleport beacon, so that if activated, the person who triggered it will be teleported depending on a certain event. If they step on it on their own, simply by accident, then the system shows mercy and simply teleports them to another starting point on the island. If the opponent 'makes' them land on it, or they hit several at once, they are considered defeated and teleported immediately back to the infirmiry just incase, they 'are' still live land mines.
Starting points: The beach, The dock, The bunker, and small chance of ending up in the mindfield at the edge of the beach.
Zone 2: Nature Island, left of Top Right: It's just a plain island, left to nature for decades, it has a small mountain on it with some snow, Most of it is forest with some beach theme on the edges. It is full of random wildlife so you'd probably like to be careful out there. The forest is thick with foliage as well, and the mountain has numerous caves dotting it's edges, which has been conveniently lit with save lamps.
Starting points: on the beach, randomly in the forest, on the mountain, or in the caves.
Quadrant 3: Orange
Zone 1: Geo Thermal Island, Left: It is a large completely Artificial Island, made of steel and stone, the few personal buildings on the island are made of metal, and the rest are Vents, exhausts, and intakes, as well as the main Cylinder of the Geothermal Plants in the Islands Depths. It is much larger than the map implies, and Has inner Depths for several floors, the lower the hotter it gets, and the lowest levels risk falling into magma from the heat weakening the metals.
Starting points: Docks, Vent Sections, Steel Housing, Main Cylinders, Either of 5 Underground Levels.
Zone 2: The Glacier?, Bottom Left: Seemingly a massive Block of Ice that has been Sculpted into an Icy recreation of a Rural housing district complete with road patterns and everything. It's almost a mile wide and shaped oddly, but is incredibly thick, and god knows what could be beneath the ice. The air of the island seems warmer than being frozen would imply.
Starting points: Many, imagine one up ^.^, Ice caves are available, but difficult to locate or navigate as every inch seems identical to the rest of it, and the transparency of the ice island lets sunlight in everywhere.
Quadrant 4: Yellow
Zone 1: The Bridgeway, Bottom Right: A series of Islands of varying sizes, the largest one's being about a mile in width or length, connected by many bridges interlocking eachother and providing numerous paths to take, making a zone that's about 10 miles long, and 50 miles worth of smooth driving paths, even more that isn't smooth.
Starting places, will be the largest islands on either side and in the middle, the people who were interested in having vehicles for this sort of zone will get to describ etheir own from the ground up, or even make it themselves if they'd like to do that.
Note: Instead of randomizing the player's starting positions, they will pick their own between the 3 largest islands, however, the 'boss' will have a randomized starting locations, mixing up the possiblities of who will encounter it first, and who will arrive to the fight late.
Zone 2: Roped Pillars, Above Bottom Right: 100's of large pillar like islands, generally only 50-100 feet wide each, but each one reached 100 to 2000 feet in the air, each one connected to each adjacent one through roped ladders or bridges. It also provides a delightful view of the nearby bridgeway island. the distance between each of the pillar islands is anywhere from 5 feet to 50 feet at random, and they are an ideal place for accrobatic fighters to be.
Starting places: Anywhere in the zone, on any one of the many islands or bridges/ladders. There are also hollowed out pieces of them from explosions or creatues involved in previous tournaments, similar to small caves, but they are plenty dark and hideable.
Quadrant 5: Light Green
Quadrant 6: Darker Green
Quadrant 7: Light Blue
Lobby Tower Zone: Multiple shades of blue.
Quadrant 8: Multiple colors, yellow/orange/brown
Final Zone: The Tower of Babel:
CO-GMs: to those who've already taken interest and stuck with it, Feel free to request this XD
