Personality: Loud and boisterous, Colonel Tyrus is the very definition of hot blooded. He loves personal combat and dueling, especially in a gunmen, and takes great pride in his fighting skill. However, the colonel is also a skilled military tactician, and is surprisingly insightful and manipulative when he needs to be. Creed genuinely cares about the soldiers under his command, and is arguably a father to his men. Despite being troubled about the Empire's actions since the invasion of Earth, Colonel Tyrus does not regret the Empire's decision to actually conquer the planet, as he believes that an imperial presence would do more good than harm.

Background: Descended from a long line of imperial military officers, Creed joined the imperial army after he graduated from the Empire's military academy. As it turned out, despite Creed's aptitude for tactics and strategy, he excelled even more at actually being a soldier. Due to this, he was tapped to join the imperial commando program. The commando training lead Creed to become an expert marksman, infiltration specialist, and hand-to-hand fighter. Pilot training was also included in the commando program, and Creed turned out to be an ace gunmen pilot.

Creed's commando training paid off in the invasion of Earth, where he served as a special ops captain, leading several preliminary strike ops, and fought on the frontlines in his gunmen once the invasion truly began. Due to his distinguished service then and after the invasion, Creed received several promotions until he reached the rank he is now, a colonel. Currently, Colonel Tyrus is charged with hunting down and destroying the remnants of of Team Dai-Gurren, but the Empire has underestimated the rebels and given him far fewer men than he needed. As such, Creed faces the daunting task of quelling a rebellion with a nothing but a bare-bones force. Realizing that the rebels pose a far greater threat than his superiors assumed, the colonel has requested additional aid, but reinforcements have been slow in coming...

Combat Skills: As an ex-commando, Colonel Tyrus is an expert rifleman, infiltrator, and hand-to-hand combatant outside of a gunmen. He prefers to use assault rifles, and carries a carbine in the field along with the typical officer's pistol.

Gunmen Abilities: A custom model, the Alistar's blades can retract into its armor, allowing the gunmen to fight with its fists if necessary. The blades themselves can be enhanced with Spiral Energy, allowing for far greater cutting power. In addition, the gunmen's chest-face has a Spiral Energy cannon built into the mouth, allowing for devastating energy blasts.

Personality: Viral’s cocky and proud attitude gives him an edge in battle, going beyond what others may believe to be possible for a Beastman. He can hold his own in battle no matter the opponent, but if he becomes too full of himself, his weaknesses become exposed. He has a huge sense of honour and justice, but only when it’s on his terms and for the good of the world in his view. He holds the spirit of Team Dai-Gurren within him with such a view of the world and life, even if it started on the wrong side earlier in his first career. Good at either giving orders or taking them, he is a true leader and a loyal follower.

Background: One of the original members of Team Dai-Gurren, his appearance in the team only came after he was reduced to nothing after a proud and honorific life as a servant of the long dead Spiral King. Before the Spiral King’s collapse, he was granted an immortal body to forever tell the world of the Spiral King’s great victory against the rebels; however, the Spiral King was defeated and his life was reduced to near nothing as he held onto his honour and fought for those who couldn’t defend themselves.

Viral became a hero of the universe when he fought alongside Simon and the rest of Dai-Gurren against the Anti-Spiral, being named a watcher of Spiral Energy despite being a Beastman and incapable of it. It was his job as representative of Earth and Captain of the Super Galaxy Dai-Gurren to visit the other Spiral Nations out in the universe to spread this knowledge; however, only some years had passed when things began to take a turn for the worse.

Viral was called back to Earth when the Empire invaded, but there was very little Viral could do about it. He fought valiantly against the invaders, but he soon lost and the Super Galaxy Dai-Gurren was forcefully shut down in space. The past ten years proved to be hazardous especially. Viral had no Gunman available, nor was the Gurren Lagann anywhere within reachable distance of him. He fought hard for the decade, using what he could to survive until finally, he had been overpowered and captured by the Empire. Viral was taken to one of the Empire’s many bases, placed under a high security watch to keep him contained. In the meantime, he was used to try and discover his secret to immortality; luckily, the Empire still have no clue how such a thing is possible, especially when their knowledge in the Spiral King, Spiral Power and Beastmen is incredibly limited.

Combat Skills: Military training: Viral has kept his military training well, showing superior skills in close combat and weapon training, especially with his cleaver.

Beastman abilities: Like every beastman, Viral has animal-like senses and reflexes. With his shark and feline DNA, he has superior senses, speed and flexibility while capable of spotting an enemy from extreme distances. His teeth and claws are exceptionally sharp and strong, along with his limbs accompanied with his combat skills.

Immortality: While Viral can be injured, his wounds heal up almost instantly as his cells constantly renew themselves. While he cannot die, he can be worn down, feel the pain and defeated as usual.

Other: Viral has no Gunman to call his own.
