It was already 3AM, and the bar slowly started to appear empty. The best spots; Seats with satin pillows on top, were available and the bar wasn’t too crowded anymore. Only a few men sat in a few corners and a few couples occupied the small round tables fitting just for two. And lastly, Hannah and her date. The man whom was sitting in front of her, clearly had a drinking problem. The evening started pretty well.
There he stood, with a bunch of roses at the entrance of the way too fancy bar. It wasn’t the bar Hannah was fond off, but he invited her to come here, so she did. It was on the other side of the city, so away from her safe environment. How did she meet him? He worked in the last hotel she visited when her sister got married. He was good looking, so she couldn’t say no to such a hottie. After all, she haven’t had a real relationship since.. High school. Anyway, he escorted her in, ordered some fancy drinks and they’ve talked all night about the funniest things. It was only until she noticed he drank his fancy drinks at a rate nobody would survive the night and coming out sober the next day.
“Hannah, let me tell you, you’re suuuuch a hottie! Why haven’t we had sex yet? Tell me!” Hannah rose a brow and took her purse from the seat next to her. “Jacque, I’m going home. Shall I call a cab for you?” But the man in front of her, insisted her to stay. “Please, Hannah, you’re so hard to get.. One night, that’s all I’m asking for..” His hand took her by her wrist, and pulled closer to him. “You won’t regret it..” And this was when Hannah felt the urge to slap him and run way. Only, that wouldn’t solve anything. “I’m going now. I’ll call you tomorrow, when you’re sober again.” And she took her coat, and left right away before he could answer her. That was.. Close..
“Héy, pretty lady! Why you leaving so early?!” It sounded right after she left the bar. Two men stood there, both having difficulties to stand up straight. One man had a cell phone in his hand, and somewhat of an evil smirk. “Hey Jacque, where are you? Are we still doing this?”
