    Name: Sage
    Gender: Female
    Age: Twenty
    Appearance:

At first glance, Sage's gender is near indeterminable. She has little figure to speak of, and keeps her chest bound so that it does not get in the way. For practicality's sake, she keeps her brown hair short, and she still usually wears her knight's clothes despite her injury. Her right arm was amputated at the shoulder, and her sleeve on that side is always pinned near the bottom. A sword always hangs from her right hip.

    Personality:
Sage is a quiet, usually introspective girl, and always had been. Before, all it took was the presence of a friend to put a smile on her face and motivate her to joke around, but she has not smiled since the incident. She's a good person, but not one for conversation, so she often comes off as aloof or just plain rude, and she sometimes can be. She is slow to anger, and quick to forgive. She's also extremely loyal, and never breaks a promise.

    History:
Sage was born to a small fief, some ways west of the capital. Her mother was a maidservant for the local lord's wife, her father one of his knights. She grew up in the shadow of the lord's manor. She befriended his son, who was roughly the same age as she. Together, they dreamed of growing up to be brave and powerful knights, protecting the kingdom from evil. The lord had, by then, grown fond of Sage, and the son she'd befriended was the youngest of three. It surprised few when he granted their wish. When they were both seven, they became pages. Because of how small the fiefdom was, it trained very few knights, so they were lucky. As they grew they learned to ride, to fence, plus etiquette and chivalry. They eventually became squires, then finally, knights. She was nineteen, having been a knight for one year, when it happened. It was late, and they were riding around in the woods, as they often did. They happened upon a snake, curled up under a tree. He dared her to touch it. Not wanting to seem a coward, she did. She was bitten, and finally came to consciousness some two weeks later. The snake had been terribly poisonous, and though her friend carried her back as fast as he could, her arm could not be saved. And, like that, all of her dreams were crushed. It was already a bit out of the ordinary to have a woman as a knight. A one armed woman? That'd be just plain odd, not to mention dangerous, both to her and those she was supposed to protect. She trained hard to prove that she could still fight, almost as well as before, but it was no use. She has since sunken in to a deep depression. However, with the princess missing, this might just be her chance to prove her own worth.

    Name: Lucinde Shulammith
    Sex: Female
    Age: 27
Appearance: She has a lite figure, easily getting into places she shouldn't. She has a soft face, accented by forest green eyes. She has long, flowing red hair, going down to the middle of her back.
Personality: She is generally kind-hearted and friendly, always eager to meet new people, and likely to crack a joke. However, when threatened, or angry, or if some threatens on she cares about, she is very serious.
History: She was born on a far off port land, laying to the far north of Zanara. She lived their for many years, poverty stricken. She became a petty thief to support her family, and she was good at it. She rarely carried weapons, but was trained by her father in the art of self defense, specifically hand-to-hand combat and using a pair of daggers. They had lived in a very dangerous area, a 'undercity' of sorts, swept out of the way of the rich that lived at and frequented the town. People like her family were seen as a blight on humanity in the town, and, first chance her family got, they hopped on a boat and left everything when she was only 16. They fled to Zanara, looking for a better life. Her father became a businessman, and her mother became a tavern wench. Lucinde herself stayed at home with her younger brother, not having to steal anymore, living a moderately successful life. When Lucinde become Twenty, she used the skills her father gave her and became a sellsword. Her family didn't approve, but allowed this to happen. She gained a reputation around Zenera as a person who could get things done, learning the art of the bow and quiver, become proficient at them. She is, at the present time, in a tavern in the capitol of Zenera, looking for work.

    I vote for later tonight

    EDIT:

And whats wrong with being young? You can gain experience and have many oppurtunities to make a good character.

So, uh, are you guys all going to start separately? If not, now is probably the time to plan out an early meeting.

Also, Sage and Lucinde are accepted.

Good point. We've got ten so far, but we still wait for agta. Thats enough for two five man bands, and if we do smaller groups we could compete with each other : 3

A group of two, five men each, I think is a great idea. They can compete with each other and race to capture the princess first, competition increases productivity and all that.
