Bio: Jeremy was born and raised in Oklahoma and spend most of his childhood focusing on football and baseball. His parents divorced early in his life and he was always distanced from his mother and close to his father. He was definitely a jock in high school and somewhat popular.

He was offered 2 scholarships but his father became ill and he decided to stay home and take care of his father. Two years later, his father died and he decided to join the Marine Corps to honor his father. He spent 4 years on active duty and was attached to a Victor Unit. His original MOS was machine gunner, but after 2 years, he was moved to a school to become a tank driver. When his unit was on their second deployment, there were very few situations that called for heavy tanks, so they had him move to other vehicles, from LAAVs, to amtraks and humvees.

During his second deployment he met Austin, who was attached to his unit to give helo support. It was during this deployment that his squad was ambushed and his humvee hit with an RPG. He was knocked unconscious and him and 2 other Marines were taken by hostile forces.

Over the course of 13 hours, the three were tortured and the first two were eventually killed before a joint Nato task force stormed the facility and saved his life.

After that deployment, he returned to the states and began his transition and it was discovered he had severe PTSD, anxiety and paranoia. He had to seek extensive help and was medicated. Jeremy had extreme difficulty adapting and debated going back to active duty but instead he was offered a job as a local police officer and took it to be closer to his family and wife.

He continued in the USMC/R (reserves) but did not deploy again.

Jeremy volunteered for the isolation when the CDC told him that his wife would be moved to a secure location, Fort Leonard Wood base in Missouri. This location would keep him close to the facility, CDC/Homeland Security Facility which was located about 50 miles south of Fort Leonard Wood.

Reason for government interest: Interested in inventing army drugs, that are lethal, small, and deadly. But also makes cures in case something goes wrong and dabbles in Orphan drugs. Currently having friends in the pharmaceutical industry, she is accepted as a top scientist and was set to start working there when she graduates. She helps the government with drugs meant to prolong life, and most progressed project is the Nanobulet(details to be revealed). Her and her brother are a valuable pair to the US government.

Bio:She was born in Florence, Italy, when her parents took a trip their before her mother's pregnancy started. They both lost their passports and had to stay with a few international friends. One day while exploring a forest her mother suddenly had early contractions, and in that forest she was born. But her mother died, and a few weeks later her dad became a citizen of Italy thanks to a few 'connections' he had. For 5 years she was raised there, before she and her dad returned to America.
Now she was with older brother, who couldn't come on the trip because he got sick. Then for the rest of her school life, she became a little loony, her dad had to work longer and she spent her time reading manga. She got her morals from manga characters, primarily insane lunatics. But she still kept her grades up.
When she was 19((or whatever)) she got accepted into a medical school in Missouri, which she was upset that she had to leave her brother behind but he said he would visit often. In school she was very popular, mostly for her looks, but also for her weird and memorable personality. Also very smart too, she was at the top of her class. However she did not take part in many activities with others, instead improving her science. She had lately invented a pill that was like pills and alcohol, but killed much quicker.((best not to ask how she proved it works…)) In 2017, her brother came to visit for her birthday, when all the bad things happened….
She and her brother volunteered for isolation in fear of dying and in hope for seeing their father again.

Bio:

Jace Coldwell, born in New York City, but raised in Seattle, Washington when his parents divorced and he moved in with his father. His father, Michael Coldwell, is an extremely heavy smoker and his real mother, Charlotte McCowwel, had gotten into many fights with him trying to get him to quit. Michael, having enough, divorced his wife and let her have the home but took their only child and the money he had and moved to Washington.

There in Washington, Jace grew up for the rest of his childhood in Seattle. As a kid, he always was interested in technology and when he reached the age of seven he had already known most of the workings of a computer. During elementary school he was the life of the party, friends with everybody. He even joined a little league team when he started the sixth grade.

Throughout Middle School, he started to experiment with computers with his free time. There, at home one night, he hacked his Father's email while messing around and then learned of the many possibilities opened up to him. It was then, when his personality started to change. The once loving child became more rebellious and spiteful. His skills in baseball improved, just as his skills in hacking improved. His grades, however, were slipping. Though Jace never cared.

Having being suspended many times during the two years of Middle School, it was a miracle that he even made it to the grand four years of High School. At high school, just a few months in his freshman year, he cracked the school security system and quickly started making ways to travel through the system unnoticed. He had ideas for his four years, and graduating wasn't one of them. He started a business. One where, for a sum of cash, he could do anything you requested to the school's mainframe. Though, Jace knew better than to make this business public. Instead, he spread a small anonymous rumor about his business. That way, he could then search for potential clients and use the time after baseball practices to make his deals.

The business was successful, and Jace made heaps of cash and quickly. Though, after turning sixteen he decided that in order to stay a secret, he needed to move to a more private location. And where else was better, than a private school? Dropping out from the public school, and moving away from his now drunkard father, he used the wealth he accumulated and joined a private school. The headmaster of the school was rather weary to let him in, but anybody could be bribed and Jace knew that.

There his business flourished, and instead of doing school related hacking services he did more of the violent hacking services. Everyone at this school had some sort of rival they wanted to tear apart, and Jace offered the abilities to do all sorts of nasty things to their electronic devices that were connected to the internet.. For a price, that is. Knowing he could continue to bribe the headmaster to keep him in the school, he purposefully failed graduation over and over because he knew business was amazing there.

2017 hit, and shortly after turning twenty, terrible things started to happen around the world. Rumors of undead were sprouting up everywhere and after a month of the madness, Jace was taken away from his home in Seattle. They told him that he was needed, and nothing else, and was taken away to a facility in Missouri.

Reason for Government Interest: Austin was one of the top vehicle operators in his division of the Air Force. He flew fighters, helicopters, and even learned to fly some different variants of the harrier. However, his training for the harrier aircraft was never put to application, as the training was complex and never fully completed and the opportunity never arose. His specialty is helicopters; he loves his whirlybirds and vertical lift aircraft (which is why he was regretful that he did not finish his training with the harriers). Plus, after he left the Air Force for the Reserves and became a life-flight pilot, he was trained to be an EMT (basic/intermediate first-aid).

Bio: Austin, at even a young age, was always fascinated with flight. His parents were multilingual (sadly, he never got the chance to join them in that department aside from a few phrases) and traveled a lot, taking him along. He loved the airplanes, but when he was about ten, his father took him up in a helicopter instead, as a new experience, and he instantly found a passion in the operation of them, always trying to learn more. Of course, he was never cut out to be an engineer, which was fine, because he wanted to be a pilot. His plans for life changed as he grew, as happens naturally to everybody, before he finally decided he wanted to do something important with his passion, enlisting in the Air Force when he was eighteen as an Enlisted Airman. As much as he loved his position in the Air Force as an Airman First Class, he knew where he really wanted to go. AFC Boggs transferred to the commissioned officer ranks as soon as he could, hoping for deployment (to the dismay of his wife, who was also his high school sweetheart and pregnant with their second child). He took on the rank of First Lieutenant nearer the end of his time in the Air Force before being isolated by the CDC, volunteering as a way to get away from his life.

During his deployment, which he never regretted, Austin met Jeremy Sumners, a Marine who was on the ground. His helo was to provide support for their squad. However, things went amiss when the Humvee was hit hard by an RPG and a large portion of their group was lost or unconscious. His requests for further air support were denied, and the LZ was too hot for him to get to the ground for the fallen members of the group. There was little time for him to do anything, however, as the tail of his UH-1N Twin Huey was hit by a second RPG. His gunner, who was holding an M60E4 and firing out of a door, doing his best to stay steady while he laid down suppressive fire for the company on the ground, was jostled by the surprise hit, more than was safe, and got knocked out of the spinning helicopter. The helicopter spun through the air and crashed a few klicks from the hot-zone.

Austin woke later, still strapped into his seat, his co-pilot had died on impact and he was trapped in his seat. Luckily, he was strapped into his seat, and he was on the upside of the aircraft. He could smell smoke, and knew that he only had moments. He pulled his knife out and cut the belts that held him in place, hanging from his seat. The front windshield had been all but completely shattered, and the pilot was able to kick the rest of it out, holding his knife between his teeth before crawling out desperately. His radio was entirely destroyed, with no hope of him being able to fix it. He knew which way they’d come from, and started in that direction, his pistol and knife not leaving his hands the entire way back. The pilot barely stopped, if he did at all, on his way back. Thankfully, HQ had received his distress call, but made it too late. He had made it back in time, and with some insistence and a few arguments, was given the task of piloting one of the two HH-60 Pave Hawks, which would deliver and provide evac for the team that saved the hostages, and the hostages they brought back.

He was less affected, clearly, than Jeremy when they returned, but they learned that their wives had become great friends since they left. It was Jeremy’s wife who told Jeremy that Cpt. Boggs’ wife was being unfaithful, and then Jeremy who told Austin after. It caused a divorce, though it was in no way the fault of the Sumners, and somehow his wife considered that because of the events in his last deployment, Boggs would not be a fit father for them. She was granted full custody, and Austin was given very limited visitation rights. He took his chance with the CDC, volunteering for any way to get away from everything that was happening. Even though he had settled and been happy with his life as a life-flight pilot in the AFR, following Jeremy to his newer city in order to keep some of his sanity and life around him, Austin never felt the way he did when he was active in the Air Force. He had no idea that Jeremy had volunteered to take part in the CDC’s project; though he may have mentioned it (Austin’s mind was very clouded and distracted in the time leading up to his own voluntary enlistment with the Center for Disease Control). Cpt. Boggs himself couldn’t even remember if he told Jeremy about his own signing up, but it didn’t matter much as he was confined to a cell for months on end with limited rations.

Bio: Harris was born into life with a sliver spoon in his mouth. He never really had a problem in his life. Except for one. This is one that revealed his hacking talent. When Harris was 15 he got a computer. Now this kept him from being bored for 5 years, (Along with Video Games) Always upgrading the computer to the newer better versions every year. When he turned 17, he began to game on the computer. Eventually, when his parents finally decided to say no to him to buying a game. He took it upon himself to get it. So he came into contact with some hackers that gave him the game. He talked them into teaching him the trick of the trade and they did. For 6 months they thought him. When Harris turned 18, he left his house and began earning money by hacking bank accounts. Whenever he got caught, his parents bailed him out. So, eventually he got caught with even something his rich parents couldn't bail him out of. But they did manage to shorten his sentence to A year from five years for attempting to steal $100,000. This happened when Harris turned 21. Harris served his sentence and walked free. Since then, he became more careful. But he did do some hacking for the wrong people. The wrong people being a gang of some sorts. Harris came out of it bloody and messed up. But the gang assigned him a "watcher" to make sure he did there bidding and never attempted to screw them over. Harris has been hacking for the gang for three years. Never being caught and constantly transferring funds to the gang.

Other: Sometimes, but very rarely, he gets a craving for a cigarette and goes crazy without one.

Bio:He was born 26 years ago, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His family was fairly rich, and they had enough money to fund his love for sports. In young age, about 4 years old, he fired his first arrow when he snuck into a shooting range because he ran away when he had a fight with his parents. Since then he spent all the money his archery. When he was six, he was excited about having a baby sibling, and they decided to take one more trip before the pregnancy started to kick in.
But sadly the day before they left he got sick, and they asked a neighbor to take care of him to his request. When they didn't return after a while, he started to get worried. He was taken into his friends family for the time being, and when his dad came back, he had his baby sister. They named her Cateline, and he was so happy. But then he got news of his mother's death, of course he was sad, but he was able to get over it. His dad broke down, and started drinking for a while, so Felix needed to take care of his sister, and they bonded. When she was a bit older, their dad got back on track, and they resumed a happy life.
His sister grew up a bit weird, because he was so preoccupied with archery, and their dad had to work more. But he and his friend spent all their spare time with her. He went to a local yet good college, and graduated top of his class. When he was 26 he became an archery teacher in a reknown outdoor wildlife school. And when she was 19 she had to leave because she got accepted into a Missouri medical school, and he promised he would visit.
On her 22nd birthday he and his friend went to visit her. But then all the bad things happened, they were stuck there. They volunteered for the isolation in fear of dying and in hope of seeing their father again.

Bio: Sofia grew up in the slums of New York. Bouncing from home to home through foster care since she was 7, having been wrongly taken away from her mother by "the system". She grew to resent it. She resented anyone who seemed associated with it. Especially the foster families. Her unruly behavior had her staying in one home for not more than 6 months before being shipped off to the next.

At age 15, Sofia attempted to run away but instead was caught and sent off to boot camp where she stayed until she was 17. From that point, She declared independence and set out to make a life for herself on her own.

Having felt like her childhood had been stripped from her, Sofia refused to be involved with anyone in a family aspect. At the age of 20, She started her own mechanic shop where she just strictly worked on the cars. Behind the scenes, She was planning the downfall of the government she hated so much.

Sofia was never sure why she was taken. She didn't volunteer. She didn't want to be there. All she knew was one day she was taken against her will. And despite all her efforts to fight back she was handcuffed and forced to go.

Name: Jon Erikson
Age: 26
Occupation: Government top secret data entry clerk
Family life: Single

Reason for government interest: Jon has top secret clearance to the top most tiers of the government. He is also capable of running and maintaining computer networks of top secret level.

However, unknown to anyone of the group, Jon is actually part of a group classified as East West 6. This organization is a joint US/English/Australian group that does various forms of “clean up and liquidation” for the government. Liquidation refers to assassinations while clean up refers to scrubbing areas clean of evidence. This included actual cleaning of prints, fluids, hairs and other traceable information to electronic erasure, wiping computers and security features. He was recruited and trained for EW6 at the age of 19 when attempting to enlist into the military. His ASVAB scores were off the charts and as he was an only son with 2 dead parents, he was taken away by the CIA and trained for almost 5 years before he was put out into the field. When going out on EW6 missions, the government classified him as going to “assist over seas assets in the set up and maintenance of top secret mainframes and servers.”

Bio: (This is his official, public record)Jon Erikson was born and raised in the streets of Chicago. His early childhood was typical, he grew up playing hockey and taking krav maga lessons until his parents both lost their jobs and could not afford to pay for either. He continued to train at the Krav Maga center while working to pay for his lessons by cleaning and helping maintain the grounds. His parents fought most of the time, each blaming the other for their financial situation and Jon distanced himself from both as most kids do.

Eventually his mother filed for divorce and about a month later, both were killed by a drunk driver. Because he had no extended family and no care takers, he was given to the state at age 16. His schooling lagged as he had no true guidance and motivation.

Eventually he graduated and at 17 worked full time training and tending to the Krav Maga center. He was given a small room there and that seemed to be enough for him. His training led him to meet a handful of recruiters for the military and one day he signed up for the army. After taking an asvab test, his scores were too low to enlist.

One of the recruiters noticed his computer comprehension was through the roof however, and he then set Jon up on a government grant that allowed him to go to college for 5 years almost free. He was moved to Washington DC to learn how to institute a government top secret server from top to bottom and maintain it and it’s security.

Over the 3 or so years after graduating, his job was mostly menial data entry and systems checks although his job would take him outside the country and all over the US on a routine basis. It was during this time he met Lea Peckre. They met casually enough and it started off as a buddy buddy relationship at work that eventually grew into something more. However, between their two busy schedules and the travel aspect of both of the jobs, it was very difficult to make work. Also Jon seemed to always be just a bit detached and awkward. A few weeks before being ordered into isolation, Lea broke up with him.

When The Awakening happened, the government started pulling in a handful of assets inside and isolating them to keep accountability. Later, when things got exceptionally bad, they put together a CDC/Homeland Security facility, called The Southern Facility where they would gather assets that they knew were immune and who would be of some value once the outbreaks ceased.

Biography:
On a cold, dreary day in Normandie, France in 1991, Léa Isabel Peckre was born. Born to parents of two different nationalities, French and English, she grew up speaking both languages fluently. Normandie is where she spent all of her childhood, until she later moved to America.

From the start of her education, Léa's parents knew that she was different than the other students. She could easily pick up material taught in class in a matter of minutes, while it took others an hour to master the material, specifically when it came to language studies. By the time she had left primary school, Léa was able to fluently speak Spanish; by the end of Collège, German; the end of Lycée (high school), Chinese and Japanese.

When looking at her social life during her schooling years, Léa honestly didn't have many friends. She had a terribly awkward phase during Primary School and Collége that held her back from socializing with others. Léa only had a couple close friends in Lycée as well, as she struggled with both her self-esteem and confidence. This all changed, however, when she moved to America.

After completing Lycée in 2009, Léa obtained a student visa to America, growing bored of her stagnant life in France. Deciding to further extend her language studies, she began to take classes at a four-year university, though her studies were halted halfway through. Her father's business in France was forced to declare bankruptcy due to industry competition and he could no longer pay for her tuition money. Léa lacked a job while studying at the university and was required to support herself through odd jobs, while she searched for an actual job that would employ her translator skills.

Out of sheer luck, she had a contact within the government from when she was performing odd jobs. Through much pestering, begging and pleading, Léa secured an job as an assistant translator to one of the higher up officials. Over the span of a year or two, she was promoted into the position as an official translator, now having an assistant of her own. Through her job, she's been able to travel to other countries and meet important diplomats, through translating for government officials.

On the side, Léa began to date one of her co-workers, Jon Erikson. Their relationship was slow to begin with, but after a while, it developed into an actual relationship. After several weeks of dating, their relationship suddenly took a nosedive as Léa was asked (and ultimately forced) to become a volunteer to go into isolation. When she was approached by several officials asking if she would be a willing participant and go into isolation, Léa's automatic answer was 'no'. She refused up until the point that the officials decided that 'no' was not an answer anymore and she absolutely had to become a participant. Briefly, she considered fleeing to France, but was warned by officials that all aspects of transportation out of America knew to not allow her outside of the country.

And so, she was taken and placed into isolation unwillingly when the time came to collect the participants. Frightened by the whole ordeal, Léa suddenly broke away from Jon, not wanting him to know and left him without a true reason of why she ended things between them. When asked by others why, she blamed it on Jon's distant and detached nature. Little did she know that Jon was a participant right along with her...

Name: Antony (Big Tony) Hooper.

Occupation: Thug and hired muscle.

Family life: Un-married, no children.

Hair: Bald. Facial hair and eyebrows are sandy brown.

Reason for government interest: Hooper is able to live off the land, hunting and foraging for food. This skill may well now be essential.

Bio: Antony was born in a gypsy camp somewhere in the south-east of England. By the age of six he'd already been given the nickname of "Big Tony" and as he grew up, he certainly grew into the name.

His parents raised him almost from the start to be dishonest. At seven he was regularly shoplifting and by nine his father took him poaching for the first time. The young boy loved the rush that sneaking on to the farmer's land and stealing his livestock caused. It didn't matter to Tony what they were stealing. Rabbits, sheep, calves, it made no difference to the lad. As long as there was the risk of getting what his father called "An arse full of buckshot" from the gamekeeper, the chance of the feeling of elation from escaping unscathed, the boy was happy.

Aged fifteen he began entering bare knuckle boxing competitions with his fellow travelers. He did well and got a good grounding in hand to hand combat, but young Antony's heart wasn't in it. Finding that even though it was illegal, the violence just didn't have the same rush and he soon gave it up.

When Antony was twenty one, armed police carried out a drugs raid on his campsite. The gypsies tried to fight them off and during the carnage Antony killed a police officer before fleeing the scene. He managed to evade the ensuing manhunt, laying low in various other camps around the country before eventually escaping the country on a cruise ship from Liverpool and heading west to America.

He had been in the States for four years, living in motels and making his money from scams and confidence tricks, when he came to the attention of the Nucci family. One night as he left his motel room Tony was attacked, knocked out and dragged before the head of the family, an elderly man by the name of Urbarno Nucci. As the old man ate a meal of spaghetti and meatballs he explained to Anthony that he had been scamming on their patch and had unknowingly cost the family a substantial amount of money. This was of course unacceptable to them. But since Tony was almost unknown to the American police and was able to con such large amounts of money from his victims, Nucci offered him a simple choice, work for the family or a wheelchair for life. Understandably Tony chose the former.

In his time working with the family Antony was contacted by the CIA and coerced into working with an East West 6 agent named “Bruce”, acting as an underground contact for the group and putting them in touch with his contacts in the UK.

Before the outbreak he was instructed to protect a young computer hacker. The boy had been tampering with police records for the family, changing evidence and the like, Tony's job is to keep the boy in line and make sure he didn't betray the family, while also protecting the young man's life.

Tony is aware that he looks big and dumb, and will use this to his advantage, acting stupid at times to conceal his bright and manipulative mind.
