Well I was thinking the Warforged, they would be easy enough to repackage as either auto-matons who run on magic or what have you.

Eh, a War Forged would be too much for a regular race i'm afraid. i mean they would be practically immune to regular ammunition. Regular golems and auto-matons are highly expensive as is, to have race of sentient versions would have been close to impossible.

I was trying to make it so he is reluctant, not initially melded into the team. Part of the RP would be integration, I just wanted another layer to work with is all. This is all assuming the 'team' hasn't been formed yet.

Well, here's my character...There's a lot more to her history (between 7 and 8 pages in word) but I didn't really think you'd want to read the whole thing. If you do, I'd be more than happy to post it for you...

    Name: Arren “Shadowdancer” Trevelyan
    Race: Halfling
    Age: 24
    Class: Operative, Intrusion, Espionage
Appearance: Arren is small in both height and weight, even for a Halfling, being only about 2’5” and nearly 27 lbs. Of course, unless you lined her up with a group of other halflings, you really wouldn't notice, simply because all halflings are short compared to most. She has eyes as black as night, with hair to match. Her hair is long, reaching slightly lower than mid-back. She looks far too innocent to be any trouble, which is part of why she is so effective. She also has a tribal tattoo on her arm, which is a stylized blue dragon. She is the type of person to easily blend in to her surroundings. She doesn't stand out, and is generally overlooked.

History: Arren’s history is largely filled with travel. It would be easily assumed that she was a modern-day gypsy. She wasn’t born in Arxie; well, in all reality, she has no idea where she was born. Ever since she could remember, she had traveled. She never lived in one place for very long, which made growing up difficult. Because of that, she has become quite used to living off the land, not really having anywhere to call home.

Not only is Arren quite used to living off the land, she is also very much accustomed to living alone. Her parents died when she was very young, leaving her to find a way for herself in the world. Her thieving nature could be attributed mostly to that. For as long as she could remember, she had to fend for herself, doing whatever it took to survive, even if that meant taking from others who may need what they have.

Personality: Everyone has a preconceived notion of halflings, always assuming them to be thieves and sneaky. While her appearance may seem to be that of a small child, Arren would definitely fit the stereotype of the Halfling. Extremely devious, she isn't one to be easily trusted. She doesn't really care about anything but what could benefit herself. Even so, she will be friendly to everyone, at least until their back is turned. She's the type to seem like they can be trusted, yet will betray anyone and everyone the moment it becomes convenient for her. That being said, there are the few times that she truly becomes close to a person, and in that case, she is very loyal to them. If someone gains her trust and loyalty, she is the one person they can trust never to do anything to them.

Equipment: Rope and grapple, advanced lock picking tools, brass knuckles, dagger, disguise kit, forgery kit, a change of clothing, backpack, few days worth of food.

Just a few notes on character histories: Arren doesn't talk about her parents or family. If anyone mentions them, she has a tendency to snap back violently, or simply run away. She's also terrified of magic of any sort, as well as heights.

@blissex: put that he can actually get close to people somewhere in his personality and it would work fine.

@Loveless Dream: looks great. you're in, though you still have an option for a minor magic item.

@Commander Snow: always open to new players. Show me what you got.

Oh, sorry. I forgot to add something in the notes section about how she's terrified of magic (and heights). I added that in. ^^

    Name: Vaclovaunt Ven'den Sarchout
Class: Magic user - combat caster
    Age : 120
    Appearance: (physical)
Vaclovaunt is typical of a elf in height, standing at about 6'4. His tall elven form is thin, limbs long, fingers long, very lanky. Almond shaped eyes adorn his sharp pointed elven features. No one would ever be able to look at him and honestly think that this man could beat them in a arm wrestling match.

Vaclovaunt hails from a line of the pretty much forgotten wood elves. His skin is a little darker, a dusky brown. A long black pony tail comes off of his head, reaching down to his lower back. Due to their even stronger connection to the woods and his own magic skills his eyes are a bright almost glowing green.

Holding to the last of the traditions of his people, he has many tattoos. They believed that certain patterns and shapes would bring you closer to the earth. The tattoos are only down his right arm shoulder blade and creeping up the neck. As a still young elf, he has to wait for landmarks in his life to get more.

    History:
Vaclovaunt was born poor, he never noticed on his own. The boy only found out he was poor thanks to all the informative children at school. His family was small, they were close, and they were happy. His first home was a little place in the dark part of town, his first nickname was sooty. Still the boy was happy, no reason not to be.

When he was young, his parents showed him all of the books and material from down the family line. His parents were modernist elves, they were no different than humans, and because of this they were surprised when their son took to those old books. His parents thought it a phase, they bought him a little sprig to grow, got him markers so he could start drawing earth symbols. 100 years later, they doubt its just a phase.

Despite dirty hands, and the same old clothes, Vaclovaunt excelled in learning and all manner of scholastic activities. It was no big surprise when he joined up with one of the major magic schools of the city. It wasn't easy on the parents but they made it work. It was worth it, Vaclovaunt took to it.

After years of being a student at the school, he graduated with honors. As opposed to going on and getting a career, let's be honest who could get a job as a primal roots major in the city, he became a professor. His students loved him, and he loved the job only as a young teacher could. Eventually he became the premier teacher for the primal history, not that people really took it serious.

After a few tenures of work at the school, his life comfortable, his bank fat, he started to get bored. His life was comfortable, he had bought his parents a nice house. Something about the lifestyle was boring, so he decided to go and start working somewhere new. He stopped one day and went to go work with some local security forces.

Given about a year or two of the security work, he felt something was wrong. Maybe it was the seeing too many of his students doing crimes, or the business way of it but it wasn't working. He joined the guild, the lure of adventure got him interested. The life suited him, and he was enjoying it. Since then he has stayed there, it's been a few years and the "professor " doesn't wanna go back.

    Personality:
When you speak with Vaclovaunt Ven'den Sarchout, one of the first things that come to mind is "friendly ". One of the major parts of his ancient society is friendliness. As a teacher he had to be even nicer. He learned how to keep people excited and into his lessons. Vaclovaunt even founded a couple programs to grow trees and shrubs in the city.

Vaclovaunt has been the cause of many a death yet he has never killed a man with his own hands. Ever since he joined the security forces he started utilizing his combat magic. Even when the situation arises where a prisoner is infront of him tied down, he still needs to summon a beast to do it. If it is up to him, the axe at his waist will remain unnoticed and the pistol unshot.

Vaclovaunt is very proud of his forgotten culture. He holds to it strong and is very proud to the point of being annoying. This mixed with his upbringing has made him easily offended. As a professor he often used the "so let's sit here wasting your money while you talk "techniques. The strong mixtures of guilt kept his classes very quiet.

    Equipment:
-A simple standard issue pistol, he doesn't care enough to bother finding out what it is.
    -A simple hand axe.
-Arcanist glasses ; a simple pair of glasses with a leather thong around his neck. It's a simple magic item that let's him see magic on items or in the world.

    Spells:
    - summon lesser rootkin
    - summon biter swarm
    - summon lesser stone elementals
    - summon diré wolves
    - razor leaf
