Jason smiled and moved closer to her. He laid his head on her back, her fur brushing against his muzzle. "You know, when I met you, I felt like the luckiest wolf alive," he told her, smiling.
Alexandria returned the smiles softly, and continued eating. She didn't touch most of the meat in the pile, just picking at a few pieces. She didn't know why she wasn't hungry, she just, wasn't.
Kate smiled softly. "Well, I'm glad that I met you that first time, just pratically running into each other." she chuckled. Yawning softly, she pawed at the top of her head, rubbing at her torn ear that had a slight itch.
Jake looked up at Xandria, watching her eat. He could tell something was bothering her so she wasn't hungry. Be concerned as he was, he whimpered softly at her. "Are you alright?" he questioned.

"I wouldn't dare hurt you!" he gasped, chuckling lightly. He kissed her ear, still not knowing how it was torn, and it worried him. He worried someone was still out for her.
Alex looked up when he spoke, and slowly nodded. "Yeah, just not hungry," she said, her ears dropping. "I guess seeing Joe brought back unwanted memories," she shrugged.
"I know Jason, I know." she smiled softly. Lifting her head slightly, she looked back and over at Jason, just enough to see his face right now. "Hm, something seems to be worrying you." she stated. "Wanna talk about it?"
Jake raised a brow at Xandria's reason. "Unwanted thoughts? Why type of thoughts?" he questioned. Getting up, he moved beside her, softly nuzzling under her neck for the slightest bit of comfort.

"It's nothing to worry about. I was just wondering about your ear again. It's fine if you don't want to tell me," he said with a smile. He licked her cheek lightly, smiling.
She looked down for a moment. "Memories of my parents. Seeing him, made me remember how, caring the were. how much they loved me and Jason," she said, smiling lightly to herself.
Kate flicked her ear lightly. "Well, the only reason I have this torn ear is because of my father. He was teaching me the ways of fighting. We were both going at each other till it got out of hand cause I wasn't trying hard enough, like my father would always say. Intentionally, he ripped at my ear which made me give up on fighting. That's why if it seems like anyone gets hurt, I start to shake badly." she confessed.
"But, aren't those the kind of thoughts you'd want to keep forever though?" Jake questioned. Keeping your family on your mind always seems to help others, but for her it seemed different.

Jason grew angry at her father, furious even. He wanted to hurt the man for laying a hurtful paw on Kate, but didn't show it. He hugged her tightly to his furry body, sighing. "You won't have to worry about fighting, I am here for you, forever and always," he said and smiled.
Alex shook her head. "Why would I want to remember the people who abandoned me at death's door, to fucking fend for myself!" she yelled, her own anger growing. She knew it was pointless to be angry to Jake, or really anyone, but she was anyways.
To be honest, I frankly thought you didn't want to RP this anymore..but figured that I'll remind you once more..it's fine though.)
Kate smiled softly before stretching out her one paw. "Well, what you saw when I was protecting you from my brother could've turned into a fight, but it didn't. Besides.." she sighed softly, "You don't have to worry about my father really.." she mumbled under her breath. She started to think back to the very day her parents had died when she was only a bit younger than her brothers, not a pup but merely a young teen.
Jake looked at her, actually feeling her anger coming out towards him as she spoke. "Well, they probably couldn't take care of both you and your brother. But look at you now, you're all grown up, yet remembering only the bad things and not the good things." he stated calmly, trying not to rile her up anymore.

Jason nuzzled her neck with his muzzle lightly, smiling lightly at her. "Like I said, you should never have to fight my love, I can, and most defiantly will fight for you," he said, kissing her nose and cheeks over and over again.
Alex just angrily stomped her paws. "If they never could take care of us, why the hell did they have us!" she snarled, "and how do I even know if there was any good!?" Her anger grew more, and she knew she'd have to get the hell out of there before she hurt someone.
