Geee, you people are fast. Going to bed now, will snatch awesome superpower tomorrow.
I suppose the characters know each other at the beginning of the game?
Yeah it's fine I was just mentioning it. And yeah, Dawn's power is more altering her cell structure while you focus on the immortality. The only real overlap then is the healing factor and the not aging, although I don't know if your character ages.

Realism in role-playing is always illusory. The only thing that differs between games is the will save DC.
Mew/Miguel - Well since your characters have similar powers, maybe you could have them be connected somehow...or not lol totally up to you.
Info - I'm assuming they do all know eachother but I'd rather get the offical word on that ^^;
Oh and umm if anyone who hasn't made a character yet or even if you have, if you'd like to have our characters be connected somehow other than being on the same team, just let me know, maybe we can work something out ^^
Sweet Surrender is all that I have to give.
That can be determined later, perhaps I'll PM him about it. I figure since we all suffer from science experiment syndrome it has given us time to bond while essentially in captivity, which is how we all know each other.
I like that term! Was thinking along the same lines, so I'll definitely give it a mention.
Would weather control be too broad an ability, by the way? I like to be cinematic, but if that would be a problem, I could get by with water control, too![]()

Didn't Storm of the X-men have weather control, she was worshipped as a goddess in Africa because of it. Personally I think it's too powerful, but that's up to the GM to decide.
Weather control is OK, your characters don't have to be weak, I just don't want them to be omega-level and god-like. They'd know each other since they were raised together in the same facility.
Then again this is advanced and we should be able to avoid imbalances. Like I said, science experiment syndrome.
Speaking of which can you elaborate how your immortality works? There are different kinds, immortal and invlulerable + eternal youth would like that of the greek gods, or just immortal + eternal youth, or just immortal...
Birth Name:
Codename: Mentalist
D/O/B:
Sex: M
Position: Operative .2 - Shadow Unit
Psychology: "Calm and benevolent, Jonathan acts as the "glue" of the group. He is shown to be kind at heart and naturally honest, with a white-knight complex. Jonathan has also shown to be bright and is an excellent student during training sessions. With this mentality, he walks into the role of a hero with pride and honour, presiding with his inability to leave a person in need.
Being among the eldest of the group, Jonathan is also one of the few to be able to calmly diffuse a conflict with fairness and a stern right. He can also be clear-headed and is able to lead, if the situation calls for it. Apparently, he has been called the "rationale one" of the group. Due to his abilities, he knows many secrets of the team but swears to keep them under lock-and-key.
In concern with his abilities and responsibilities, Jonathan is shown to be highly responsible and an excellent leader. He constantly trains his abilities and sees to make sure that he remains at his peak.
As of this report, I deem Mentalist mentally stable and combat ready."
- Dr. Carla Montenegro, Chief Psychologist
Mutation: Extra-Sensory Perception -
Telepathy: Due to an electroreceptor organ found deep within the frontal lobe, Mentalist has the ability to read the thoughts of others. The organ is specifically set to find the frequency of the bio-electric activity within a person's brain, then psionically translate it into his own form of thought. The range of his ability is amazingly large and potent, with several reported instances in which he has read the mind of an individual across the globe, albeit with great strain and cerebral haemorrhaging.
Although Mentalist's own abilities have created a psychic mental block in order to discern separate thoughts from his own, there is no natural mutation blocking thoughts from actually entering his mind. This has lead to psychic feedback which overloads his brain, inducing nausea, migraines, dizziness, confusion, disorientation, and an eventual catatonic coma.
Mentalist has been known to use his ability in a variety of ways, including mentally influencing the mind of an individual or army of citizens, manipulating the perceptions of victims, emitting his own thoughts and the thoughts of others, and transferring his consciousness into another being.
[ATTENTION: DUE TO INSTABILITY, MEDICATION AND FOCUSING TECHNIQUES MUST BE ESTABLISHED FOR FURTHER USE OF ABILITY]
Precognition: Due to a fragment of his consciousness being several steps ahead of the current timeline, Mentalist is granted images, feelings and sensations of the immediate future. The level of vivid detail during these "flashes" depends on the level of danger, length, focus, among other external stimuli.
Superhuman Acuity: A side effect of his mental prowess, Mentalist's mind has nearly reached it's full potential, granting him an amazing mental capacity. His mind works on a higher level than most, granting him an incredible memory, amazing comprehension and puzzle-related skills, knack for numbers, and capacity to learn, although this doesn't grant him a genius-level intellect.
Equipment: "Items on-body were listed as a black leather jacket, fake in composition; white linen button-up shirt; black leather belt with a metallic square-buckle; slim-fit dark-blue jeans; black combat boots. Personnel have equipped Mentalist with registered dog-tags for identification."

Specialised Training: - Marksmanship [small firearms specialisation]

- MMA

Background: "Jonathan St. Michaels was born and raised here on the Helicarrier. Along with the rest of the S.X.M., he was forcibly mutated within the womb of his mother. Unfortunately, his vast psionic abilities killed her and sent several infirmary personnel into a catatonic state.
His mother, a young homeless woman, had given birth to several human children before, all half-siblings. His father is unknown.
Due to the instability of his psychic abilities, Jonathan was placed in an induced coma for the first six years of his life. An experimental technology was hooked up to his spinal column and several regions of his brain, inducing educational segments while in his comatose state.
By the age of 7, when he had awoken, he had been able to walk, talk, and socialise like any child. When given academic assignments, Jonathan was shown to excel and soon became a member of the training programme.
In order to keep his abilities in check, Dr. Montenegro has issued several forms of medication and mediative techniques, lowering the potency of his ability but also inhibiting alien thoughts from entering his mind, unless he chose so.
St. Michaels has been informed of his mother's death since he was 8-years-old, as by then he had already conformed to the complex idea of death. He has accepted her passing and has since been among the high-asset team."
