This is what I useually do, once you hit the second Rail, immediately JUMP. Since Sonic will be going to fast at this point, only boost once on the first rail, then when you hit the second rail. JUMP right away since Sonic speed will play an illusion trick on you thinking, your slowing down.

Take the accelerator off XD That will help your percision jumps alot better ^^

now toothless XD Accelrator is good for most things XD But when its coming to jumps, we have to un-equip it to get the Red rings ^^

But yeah... you got a point there. I wish you could equip more skills at once.

If we could equip all of the skills, then Sonic will be GOd tier in Generations XD...that doesnt sound like a bad idea actually lol XD But yeah, there are some Red rings when you need too sacerfice a skill in order to get them ^^;

Except Classic Sonic, all you need is Thunder shield and Bubble shield XD

Yeah it would XD any way, letting ya know I posted ^^ and manage to get the Red ring : / that thing is annoying to get >_<

I don't want to try and get that red ring, sounds too hard. Even if I get all these I'll never manage to get the ones in planet wisp ^^; and I know you posted, I was waiting to see if anyone else was coming on. I'll probably post soon though since there is no harm in doing so when this part of the rp is just filler.
