    Class: Spellsword / Red-mage

    Birthplace: Desert City of Ozona

    Job: Mercenary / Wanderer

    [Affiliation]
Kingdom of Eldon – Capital City of Ozona
Mercenaries of Hextom – Second in Command
    Encalbossa – Founding Member

    [Appearance]

    [Weapons]
Bastard Sword – Izaka is proficient in the use of many bladed weapons, but he prefers this weapon above all others. The unique length of its handle means that the blade is balance for quick, single-handed strikes, as well as more powerful two-handed blows.
Knives – Izaka always carries a set of three concealed knives with him. He can use these in conjunction with his sword, or with other knives, but usually they serve him most capably as a magic-infused projectile.
Bow – Izaka is proficient in the use of many different kinds of bows, but does not usually carry them around, when he does, he carries a short-bow for quick accuracy.
Throwing Axe – An item Izaka rarely uses, but always keeps as a pre-caution, this smaller, slimmer version of the normal single-handed war-axe is used as a thrown projectile, though the weight of the weapon makes its accuracy limited.

    [Abilities]
Hard Skin – Izaka’s naga heritage has gifted him with abnormally hard skin, while not impractically strong, his skin is some-what denser than normal, making it more difficult to cut.
Acid – Izaka’s naga heritage has gifted him with the ability to spew acid, this ability is limited to one use per day, and is not normally seen.
Reflex – Izaka has trained his reflexes over an extensive period of time, allowing him to react quickly to varying situations.
Oratory – Izaka is an accomplished speaker, he is able to manipulate conversation in useful ways.

    [Spells]
Lightning – Izaka is extremely fond of lightning, and this is his most common spell-set in battle. These attacks can range from bolts raining from the sky to electrically charging objects to magnetism.
Wind – Going hand in hand with his lightning spells, Izaka is also very comfortable with wind-based spells. His usual method of attack is charging currents around his weapon, or using them in wide shock-waves. He can also use wind magic to limit the weight of the items he carries, making him faster in combat.
Fire – Izaka occasionally uses fire spells, though he not proficient with them. They sometimes act as his ace in the hole, especially in close quarters combat.
Curing – Izaka is not a full on medic, though he does understand the fundamentals of white magic and healing.

    [Items]
Steel Breast-Plate – Used to protect his chest from slashes and stabs, it is a durable material of medium weight, making it ideal for the balance skill-set Izaka boasts.
Steel Vambraces – Used to protect the fore-arms and tops of his hands, these items prevent the enemy from cutting off his fingers or otherwise limiting his ability to wield weapons.
Steel Greaves – Used to protect his shins, these items can also be infused with wind magic to allow for sustained glides and higher jumps, though not true flight.
Cloak – Izaka carries a cloak infused with magical runes on its reverse side, making it ideal for blocking out weak magical projectiles, like small fireballs. It cannot, however, resist stronger magical attacks or magical weaponry.

    [History]
Izaka was born to a poor family in the city of Ozona in Eldon. His life was hard growing up, his mixed heritage earning him nothing but disdain from the normal citizenry. After scrounging through the first years of his life by stealing and taking on odd jobs to help support the rest of his family, Izaka enlisted in the Ozonanian royal army, leading him to become proficient in many different forms of weaponry.

After serving five years, Izaka was honorably discharged and given his sword and armor as a symbol of his humble service. At this time, he tried to settle down, working for a couple of years as a farm-hand on a large plantation in Zlibel. He was married and started a family, but eventually the lust for battle drove him back into warfare, he left his family without a word, abandoning them in the night.

From here on Izaka went free-lance, becoming a mercenary to support himself, eventually being co-opted into Hextom. It was here that he found his true calling. Forever among comrades of the highest martial caliber, Izaka was able to mature his already fearsome abilities into something truly terrifying.

To this day he faithfully serves the mercenary forces of Hextom, leading them with bravery and courage, a sword forever at his side.

    David, King of Vagrants

    Name: David

    Title: King of Vagrants

    Gender: Male

    Age: 17

    Height: 5’ 7”

    Weight: 136 lbs

Class: Counter-Combatant - A warrior who utilizes skills and techniques specifically designed to foil his opponent.

Personality: Usually a cheerful guy, David is openly lazy and enjoys playing more than he does working. When he does get serious, he’s cold as ice and completely ruthless. He enjoys playing the harp, singing, and dancing.

    Appearance

    Front

    Back

    Abilities

Primary Materialization – The power to materialize weapons or items when needed. It is an ability that draws forth the essence of the conjurers soul and crafts it into physical objects.

Secondary Materialization – The power to unlock or break enchantments or natures of weapons created by primary materialization. The process of secondary materialization takes time and may be performed while the weapon is already in use. The time required for secondary materialization to occur is determined by the strength or nature of the weapon in question.

    Weapons

Sword – Arondight, the bound blade of the berserker Lancelot. It has three stages of materialization. The first stage of materialization breaks the enchantment on the weapon’s sheath, allowing it to be removed and the sword’s dark nature to be revealed. The second stage unbinds the holy seals around the sword’s hilt, allowing the sword's inner darkness to be cast about as a form of wave or projectile. The third stage envelopes David in the weapon’s curse, shrouding him in an armor of darkness and unlocking the weapon’s true powers, giving it the ability to warp reality.

Spear – Gae Bolg, the cursed spear of the lancer Cu Chulainn. It has four stages of materialization. The first stage begins the weapon’s ritual, cleansing in holy water. The second stage enchants the spear with a mystic spell, awaking its inner bloodlust. The third stage unwinds the leather binding around the spear-tip, giving it the ability to pierce anything but the strongest of armors. The forth stage releases the spear’s true ability: when tossed the weapon inverts causality, ensuring that it pierces the opponent’s heart.

Bow – Celestia, the divine bow of the Goddess Artemis. It has four stages of materialization. The first stage removes the mortal aspect of the bow, allowing it to generate an unlimited amount of arrows. The second stage imbues the bow with a divine nature, allowing it to bless the arrows released from it with a holy quality, dealing intense damage to any dark being (vampire, demon, werewolf, etc.). The third stage of materialization grants the bow the first blessing of its original owner, allowing the wielder to distort space. The fourth stage grants the bow the second blessing of its original owner, allowing the wielder to distort time.

Chain – Enkidu, the divine chain owned by King of Heroes Gilgamesh. It has three stages of materialization. The first stage unlocks the weapon’s hidden ability, giving it an unlimited length. The second stage enchants the weapon with heavenly strength, making it unbreakable. The third stage awakens the divine nature of its previous owner: whenever the chain comes in contact with a being of non-divine origin it begins to rapidly incinerate them (this process is accelerated when the enemy is of a demonic nature {vampire, demon, werewolf} and slowed when they are of a holy nature {angel, paladin, priest}).

Spell-book – Prelati’s Spellbook, the tome originally owned by the French mage Gilles de Rais. It has four stages of materialization. The first stage gives access to the tome’s first and second chapters, allowing David to cast basic destructive spells. The second stage unlocks the third, fourth, and fifth chapters, giving access to intermediate elemental spells and basic illusion magic. The third stage unlocks the sixth and seventh chapters, giving access to powerful destructive spells and dangerous illusions. The fourth stage unlocks the final eight chapter: the user can create a confined space that embodies their spirit and beliefs (this space is known as a Reality Marble), inside this space the user has complete control of the terrain and space, able to manipulate them in any way they see fit.

    Subject No. 26

    Name: N/A

    Alias: Subject / 26

    Gender: Male

    Age: 10 (Explained later)

    Physical Age: 19

Fighting Style: A utilitarian. Subject uses his transformation abilities to play to the weaknesses of his opponent.

Personality: Cold and calculating. He is often aloof and usually only engages when first commented on. He likes to observe and watch things, he is very curious. He has somewhat limited social skills.

    Appearance:

    [Items]
Bandanna - The black bandanna he always wears. He uses it to hide his face and conceal his identity, rarely does he remove it.
Ring - The only item he has that links really links him to the outside world. It's made of silver with a small diamond in the center. It was taken from one of the researchers at the lab during his escape.
Knife - A trinket he's picked up during his time wandering between cities, it had sentimental value.

    [Abilities]
Regenerate -The ability to recover lost tissue in a relatively short amount of time. This is done by simply increasing the pace at which his cells divide, causing the affected area to grow and thus heal more rapidly.Transform - The ability to warp his body at will. He can have it take on the shape of various weapons, tools, or even animals.
Reinforce - A subset of the Transform ability. It allows him to reinforce, either through an outside material or his own skeletal structure, an item in his possession or even his body itself. For example, using a piece of metal to strengthen his bone structure, or increasing his bone density.
Grafting - A subset of the Transform ability. It allows him to take in and manipulate outside agents or materials, for example, say, a piece of metal into a sword.

    [History]
Testing Battery 3, Subject No. 26 of 300.

Born in a test-tube, Subject was part of a government run program to help grow a better population. He was subject to various forms of genetic engineering to try and improve him. The desired outcome was a physically stronger human specimen that was impervious to disease, the actual outcome was far darker.

The entire program went through three stages, each stage consisting of a single testing battery of 300 participants grown artificially. The first test batch were mostly failures, with over a 92% rejection rate for muscular growth hormones and their genetically engineered bodies were rendered sterile due to unseen problems with said engineering process.

The second stage was far more successful. The second batch of 300 participants had a 43% rejection rate for the muscular growth hormones and those subjects that did survive the treatment were fertile. As a by-produce of their being merely a test batch the artificial humans grew at an extremely accelerated rate and died out within two years, living the entirety of their life-spans in that short amount of time.

The third stage again consisted of 300 subjects, but this time the perfected growth process was used and the growth acceleration agents used on the second stage subjects was removed, ensuring this final batch would live to see the full extent of their medically enhanced lives.

But it was at this time that karma finally caught up with the researchers. They had stepped to far into the domain of God and were thusly punished. One of the test subjects, subject no. 26 developed a cancerous legion on his body during the initially growth stage. Seeing this merely as a chance to gather data on the ability of the test subjects to fight off such cancers, the researchers allowed the legion to grow, thinking little of it as they continued to feed 26 growth hormones and skeletal supplements.

Unsurprisingly 26 was able to fend off the cancer, as his superior breeding and engineering proved to carry the day. On the flip side the cancer was incorporated into his body as a systematic function, his brain subjugating the growth process, allowing him full control over it. By the time the researchers realized this single subject had gained the ability to control his own growth and degeneration it was too late.

Subject 26 used his ability to mature his brain and body, then he used his ability to create weapons and slaughter the research staff. In a haze, he managed to sustain his powers long enough to escape the testing facility, leaving behind him a trail of blood and mangled bodies.

    Skip forward a few years.

Subject 26 is being actively hunted by the world government and its subsidiaries. He is seen not as a failure, but as the culmination of their research: a superhuman with the ability to bend his body to his will in any way he wishes. He is therefore always on the move and never in one place too long. He is searching for something, something to tie him to this world of violence and chaos, that tie in a ring he wears on his right hand.

Taken from one of the researchers during the break-out it is his only clue in the quest to unravel the mystery surroundings the experiments that created him.
