Atrium: School for the Gifted

Two boys walked up to the school. "This is nothing like our old home," he complained," I don't like it at all. This place stinks. You said it would be the same." The boy behind him, instead of speaking, moved his hands, signing,' You haven't even given it a chance. I'm sure you'll get used to it.' Lokki scoffed, but followed after his brother into the school. It was more him getting the looks than his brother. Still, he didn't mind. So what? He looked a little young. They got their things from the main office. They each took one of the keys. "Room 570," Lokki said out loud," Well, isn't it nice that we have a room on the top floor." They started heading up to their room.

Kazuma got up and stretched from sitting by the lake. He turned over and saw two new students arriving. Things felt strange as they walked towards the office, maybe they were strong or maybe there was more to them than the eye could tell. Whatever it was, he couldn't put his finger on it. But for now, it would be interesting to investigate. Luckily for him he appeared as a student even though he was a teacher. So tracking them with the with the wind, he took a path to intercept them, pretending to be another student. "Hey," he said to them, "You guys must be some of the new students this year." He tried sounding friendly but his voice slipped out very monotone.

"Yeah," Lokki smiled," Me and my brother have special powers." He played the innocent act. He loved pretending to be innocent and then attacking people. "See?," he turned around to show his wings," I'm a demon."

Hoenir sighed as his brother talked with someone else. He knew the guy would probably ask why he wasn't talking, but he didn't care. His brother would probably explain.

"Interesting, but I would suggest not turning your back to strangers, especially around here. Some students are still unstable with their powers, and may even attack if given an opening like that." He tried and mostly succeeded at making that sound cocky. He did not exactly wish for a fight, but he knew he was right about the instability of new students. So in a way he hoped to make this student fly off the handle for even a second so that he could assess what this strange feeling was about them.

"Oh," Lokki said," Well, I didn't know that. My brother sometimes thinks I'm too naive since I'm so little."

"Well you may be small in size, but appearances can always be deceiving. Just like how I may appear weak, but if I am here then there must be something more. Same goes with you." He looked back at the brother a little curious as to why he didn't seem interested in adding to the conversation, but that was not the matter at hand so he let it slide.

"Well, there probably are a lot of strong people here," he said," By the way, my name's Lokki. It's nice to meet you mister." He gave a smile as he introduced himself.

"And my name is Kazuma, although you may call me Mr. Yagami out of respect for your elders." A thought then popped into his head, "Hey, how about we drop your stuff off at your room and then have a little sparring match on the training field?" A bit more direct than his tastes, but he was determined to learn why these students were able to catch his eye.

"Oh, okay," he smiled a bit," Oh, yeah. My brother's name is Hoenir. He's mute, so he couldn't introduce himself. But I translate him when he signs normally." Hoenir waved a bit as he was finally introduced. They then started moving towards their room. "Our room is 570 by the way," Lokki told him.

Hilario noticed something seemed to be wrong with Aimi. "Are you alright?," he asked," Was it the chocolate? I know you said you wanted it, but I didn't think it would be good for you."

Armony smiled and said," Well, that sounds like you're a very caring brother and friend. And, you know, if your brother truly loves you and your truly care about you, they'll forgive you no matter what you do."

"Oh, well I understand sign. So you do not need to translate for me." he said as he helped them locate the room, although it was simple enough to figure out alone. "I'll wait out here," he said waiting in the hall. He did not want to be disrespectful, inviting himself into the room plus it was a known fact that he believed that teachers should not enter a student's dorm unless they are there to search for something. Of course they did not know he was a teacher yet, but still he waited in the hall for his own sake.
