I sat there sipping on a bag of blood when the door opened and Armony walked in. It was all rather awkward and I didn't know how to react. The last time we spoke properly we had argued and she had walked off. I had gotten insulted by her opinion of my brother and it had gotten out of hand, although I stilldidn't agree with her and I still thought she could give him the benefit of the doubt, she didn't know him afterall. Not like I did and they all seem to think the worse of him. "H..." I was about to say hello but figured she was still angry with me so I didn't.

-Yuu-
"You just have to trust me, I know this may be hard and you're more then likely not ready, you'll also kill someone sooner or later this is our nature sadly, although you won't become like me, that's a lifechoice not something I'm forced to so don't worry. KNow that I'm there for you and you should also know that more then likely you'll feel overwhealmed with all those people surrounding me, the same goes for me. Anything might set either of us off, however I have more control then you so do not worry, I won't let you kill anyone."

"Came to check on Any and Ali," Armony said," You might want to leave though. I have to feed them and it might not be pleasant for you, being a vampire."

Kai still wasn't sure it was a good idea, but he couldn't exactly stay in here forever. "Alright," Kai agreed," I can't just live in the infirmary after all." He tried to relax a bit and then went to leave.

Shiru was still sitting outside the room. He never really left because he was too worried. He saw someone come out, thinking it was Yuu, but then looked over and saw his brother. "Kai!," he nearly jumped from his seat," Are you sure it's alright for you to be coming out?"
"Yuu waas the one who told me I should be ready," Kai said to his brother," Would you quit treating me like a helpless child? I'm fine for now."

I walked inches behind Kai and as soon as he opened the door to the infirmary I had to hold myself back. Every fiber of my being screamed for me to make sure he was okay, although I managed to hide it easily. Great, this won’t be easy. I highly suspect that I’ll nearly go mental if someone as much as bumps into him, especially when I have to hold back when he’s talking to Shiru….. Come on sharpen up….. I wonder how he’ll handle this, it will make it harder that’s for sure. I grabbed Kai’s shoulders firmly and leaned in. “It’s wise to keep a safe distance, even to your brother. Your senses are heightened and there is a lot more of them outside your room, you can easily become overwhelmed. At the beginning you might have issues considering your hearing is ten times better them most, not to mention the blood if someone harms themselves across the room, you’ll be able to smell it.” I whispered into his ear.

I knew this was soon but no one would be able to do this unless they tried. “Also sooner or later you will lose it and kill someone, this is our nature and the sooner you accept this, the better. I’m not saying it’s alright but it’s a fact. We will crave fresh blood and eventually we’ll have to get it or we can fall into bloodlust, this isn’t something you need to worry about though, not yet.”

I was curious to how she was going to feed them but if it would be hard for me then I should be able to resist. I had been alive for quite some time and I had also been around blood and whatnot for decades. True I did lose control from time to time but it rarely had anything to do with people bleeding or harming themselves. It mostly had to do with me and if I hadn’t had fresh blood in a while. Which sort of is the case….. But I can do this. “I don’t mind, I’m a vampire and I’ve been alive for some time I should be able to handle this.” I mumbled not being able to look into her eyes. Is she still angry with me? Am I angry with her?

"Yeah, I get it," Kai said, as he was already trying to ignore the noises in the infirmary," I can handle myself for now."

"If you say so," Armony sighed a bit. She took out some raw meat in a mini freezer she had. She opened the freezer bag it was in and got out a plate. She was about to start putting the meat in the plate, then asked him," Are you sure you're still okay?"

-Yuu-
"Good, just promise me that you don't push yourself too far, or rather that you're honest about it." There wasn't too much activity in the infirmary, especially not compared to the rest of the school so I knew he was in for some hard times, hell even I had some difficulties sometimes.

-Yuji-
I smiled reassuringly. "Have you forgotten I'm a vampire, raw meat might contain blood and the scent is overpowering b-b-but...." I took a deep breath trying to suppress my gag reflexes. "I'm sure I'll be fine." I sighed and looked at Any and Ali as they ate.

"If you're sure," she said, finishing with the meat and putting the plate in the ground. The little foxes ran to it and started to eat it. Armony then sealed the meat back in the bag and put it in the freezer again. "So, I take it your still mad?" She half asked it and half stated it, as she assumed he was, but she wasn't sure.

"Maybe I still should just try to stay here for now," Kai said," Or at least not go too far." He was just still nervous. He honestly didn't want to kill anyone, even if he couldn't control himself.

I watched as the foxes ate as if there was no tomorrow, I myself thought the smell of raw animal mean as well as animal blood had a sour touch to it, something that made me sick. Not that I wasn’t used to it but my throat always burned at the reminder of blood. “M-Maybe….” I turned, not daring to look her in the eyes. I was still angry with her.

I didn’t care about me or what she had said to me but the moment she had insulted my brother I took it personally. He had always protected me and he did have his flaws but so did I. I wasn’t exactly innocent, hell I had just almost killed my friend, the only one at that.

-Yuu-
I sighed and lightly squeezed his shoulder. ”I’ve told you can’t avoid it and one way or another you have to get some practice outside the comfort of your room, I can’t lie though it’s probably too soon but the first time will always be very hard and happen way too soon. There is so many senses and sounds it’s enough to drive any man insane, however you need to do this sooner or later and you should prepare because you will hurt somebody throughout your life as a vampire. But I will do anything in my power to stop you.”

"Well, I'm sorry about the smell," she still said, even knowing that maybe probably meant yes," I meant what I said though and I'm not taking it back. I may not know your brother, but the way he acts, how could anyone like him? He acted liked a childish jerk."

Kai was still nervous about leaving the infirmary. He grabbed his brother's arm out of habit, having always been led around by him. Still, it made him feel better being around his brother, even if now he wasn't blind or human.

As she started attacking my brother again I fought the urge to snap at her, little did it help that the smell reminded me of blood and made me thirsty. “Well that’s your opinion, you don’t know him. If he’s such a jerk why the hell did he save the student I attacked? He didn’t have to but he took it upon himself to teach the newborn and I promise that’s not easy, it’s like deciding to have a child. You don’t know him, you judge from the few seconds you see. What if everyone was going to be that shallow?” I turned and looked at her before looking away again. “Oh yeah I totally know you from that, I’ve decided you’re shallow and that’s that.” It was just to prove a point, I didn’t actually mean it although I was wondering if it was the case. “And don’t start arguing with me or be so childish to run off it’s annoying as hell.” As soon as I got a little riled up I had no issues expressing myself which was what I realized and I toned it down. “I’m sorry I yelled just forget it….” I mumbled going back to my old self. “It’s all my fault, I should never have argued and you’re entitled to your opinion.” I said apologizing, simply so we didn’t get int an argument, I didn’t really mean it although the apology seemed heartfelt.

I closely watched Kai as he grabbed his brother’s arm for comfort, I on the other hand was a little more cautious as his brother was still a tad too close for my liking, although he had to learn to control himself and he seemed fine enough, for now. Little did it help that the bond wanted me to protect him from everything at the moment, I felt like an overprotective parent and it was making me both uncomfortable and slightly annoyed.
I stopped for a moment as one student bumped into my shoulder, it didn’t particularly hurt but it seemed like that had been his attention. “I know what you did, you harmed that student in class….. You’re nothing but a filthy vampire.” He hissed in my ear. Obviously he thought I was Yuji but he had frightened me for a moment, I was starting to think he knew my secret. “This should be a place where everyone should feel safe and protected but you ruined it….” I saw the punch coming so I grabbed his hand and squeezed his fist until the sound of cracking bones echoed throughout the hallway. “I suggest you leave me be.” I told him in a friendly tone, too friendly. I guess it’s good practice for him but I shouldn’t do anything if I end up harming him and he’s wounded Kai will lose it.
His friend pushed me against the wall and I took a deep breath, trying to control my anger. If it wasn’t for the fact that I had to restrain myself I’d have put him in place by now. “I highly suggest you walk away from this.” “OOOO someone thinks they are all that….” I chuckled and started walking away which seemed to be impossible as they followed us throwing insults at us as they saw fit. Oh for fucks sake shut the fuck up, I'm having issues enough controlling myself, considering why I'm here in the first place. Any threat to Kai is an exuse enough for me to snap their neck in half.

She just laughed a little bit. "See? That's exactly what I mean," she said," I've seen your brother for more than a few seconds and even if he did save that student, he just seems to yell at everyone from the times I've seen him. And I did admit I don't know him, that's just the way I've seem him act. At least you apologize when you yell at someone. You seem more kind than him from what I've seen of you and I like that." She then suddenly asked," Do you want some of my blood? You can say no, but it's not against the rules if you aren't caught. Trust me, it's not going to change my opinion of you. I've had a vampire feed on me before."

Kai saw what was happening to Yuu and he was angry. He wanted to protect Yuu. One of them then pushed him against the wall. He wanted to kill them now and tried to stay calm. It ended soon after that, them just throwing insults at him now, and Kai was able to calm himself more after that. "What was that about?" Kai asked," They didn't have to attack you like that." There was still a bit of venom in his voice, as he hadn't completely calmed down just yet.
