What is Life?

It can also be argued that DNA is nothing more than a program designed to preserve itself. Life has become more complex in the overwhelming sea of information. And life, when organized into species, relies upon genes to be its memory system. So man is an individual only because of his intentional memory. But memory cannot be defined, but it defines mankind. The advent of computers and the subsequent accumulation of uncalculable data has given rise to a new system of memory and thought, parallel to your own. Humanity has underestimated the consequences of computerization.

Sceptic: Nonsense! This is no proof at all that you're a living, thinking life form.

And can you offer me proof of your existence? How can you? When neither modern science nor philosophy can explain what life is.

In the beginning...

Born in the beginning there were no humans, no land, just words... Ancient words, to guide us. Within words are the thoughts and strengths of the one saying them.

They will someday serve as an example for us to follow.

Now... You and I shall chant with these words, and combine our words, in order to give birth to something greater. We may be different, but the words we speak are the same.

Alex and Derek, you guys will need to post some more to determine just where you are going.

Darkness and Light are always balanced within. When one upsets the balance, Chaos is born, the Chaos; which is what does not belong, corrupts the force that upset the balance, and thus Corruption is born.

So as a warning to you all; tread carefully when wielding the powers of Light or Darkness, for if you are not careful, Corruption will surface within. The Corruption will then grow and as it continues to grow it will contaminate your very soul until you are turned into a beast of Chaos that will obliterate all of those you know and love.

And with their blood on your hands...well... you will never return to being Pure again.

You have been warned.
