Detailed information on the areas listed below.
In addition, something interesting about Kahkrah is that Ex has warped the land in an interesting way so that traveling from one place to the next on foot doesn't take as long as you'd think it would... To explain this in simpler terms, think of this as a Pokemon game; the map makes everything look so big and far apart, but in reality you can walk from one place to the next in hardly any time at all.
The Continent:
Kahkrah is, essentially, a large island. Though Ex worked hard to ensure that several types of terrain would cover the small continent, such as mountains, forests, grassland, etc.
Friozo Mountains:
This mountain range runs along the northwestern most part of the island. It is known, especially where it is highest north, for being the coldest place to be in all of Kahkrah, at least at the peaks. It is also home to the ice dragons of Data Spell and is sometimes visited by ice mages for practice.
Screech Mountain:
One of the more southern-lying of the Friozo Mts, where at least the peak isn't snow-capped. From the outside, it's already clear that it seems to be a gathering place for birds of prey, but that isn't even the half of it. Past the small tunnels the birds can be seen disappearing into, lies an extensive complex dug out of the mountain, as, in truth, most of the mountain is actually hollow. The reason for this is because the mountain is home to the Aquila Kingdom. See more about them under 'Groups'.
Mount Dracorus:
Another one of the more southern-lying mountains, though this one is actually an active volcano. Not a common place for visitors, not only because of the volcanic activity, but also because it is the rumored home of the Magma Dragon (see more under 'Creatures').
Keresto Forest:
A large forest that covers a good portion of the middle to northern part of the island. It is mainly evergreen in the more northern portions but shifts to deciduous trees further south. The home of not only pixies, forest dragons and various other beings, but it is also said that members of the Cult of Arachnid congregate here to hold their special rituals (see more under 'Groups').
Droc Grasslands:
A grasslandish area that the Kereso forest shifts into once the trees thin out. A mostly uninhabited area, though it paves the way for the Droc Village up ahead.
Droc Village:
A humble village that lies south of the Droc grasslands. It was founded and is run mainly by weaker humanoids, and provides a sort of shelter for players of that genre, as well, as they aren't like some dragon who can go where they please without much of a problem. Also a good place for travelers to stock up on supplies, get food, rest... anything else. (Also a common meeting place for those who spend more time in the game world than the real world, as resting in-game really isn't necessary, you can just log out...)
Rianoct Sea:
The island of Kahkrah isn't perfectly circular, you know. And there is a nice little gulf known as the Rianoct Sea in the southeastern portion of the island. Of course, that is where the sea-dwellers tend to live, for the whole time in the game, really... Go ahead and fight a sea monster or something if you really want to.
Krath Ocean:
The ocean surrounding the island of Kahkrah. The members don't seem to know much about it... or care, especially since no land is known to exist beyond Kahkrah. In fact, it is said that some sea-dwellers or members with flight ability have tried flying out to sea as far out as possible to see what would happen. Apparently, the world really doesn't go anywhere from there, and you'll just reach an invisible barrier to pretty much signal the edge of the world...
