    question

how come there are no r-ps without a super elabarate plot?

I've been trying to find a chiller(not centered around plot 100%) one for a while now. The closest i can find is natrelmon and i'm not to fond of that.

Those plot heavy ones feel like there emotionless killers half the time.

Try free roleplays, most people like RPs with a distinct direction though. Details are usually a good thing, but if you find them bothersome, I would recommend you try Free RPs as things are a lot more lax and 'go with the flow'.

Free Rps are just so well last site i was on there was usually one caveman,

and i don't mean not have a distinctive direction i mean not be on that distinctive direction 500% of the time to the point were it's unrealistic.

I'm not sure what you mean, could you have some links to what you think is too much?

All I can say is look. There's no real answer that can be given to your question. If you look, you'll find what suits you.

Sometimes it takes a while to find your niche. Otherwise, make something yourself and GM the way you want things run.

(S)he means RPs where, it has a plot, but the plot can be bent to meet other needs and such, and isn't always, this, this, and this, will happen, no you cannot deviate from this, and no you cannot change it, period.

When I host an RP I typically don't have a plot.

I run event based RPs with a general goal in mind, but the goals are not over reaching... and can be reached in any way RPers want provided they don't do something asinine.

Well... Sandbox (free, exploration-style play) makes it hard for the GM to control the flow of the story.

    VS

Linear story progression that limits what players can do, but since the player is 'guided' along, he/she can experience a better story as the GM has more power over the plot.

    This.

I try to keep them on a straight path to it, but generally allow for extra things.
