The Knights of Ancarth - The Corrupted [OOC]

    _________________________________________________

    Thy kingdom has a place,
    Deep among my soul,
    Where no eyes may surmise
    What demons we may hold.

For there we may never retreat,
    Whenever danger is near,
    The realm of man,
    shall know no fear.

For we stand at the brink of destruction,
    With our heads held high,
In the eyes of The Corrupted,
    We shall not die.

    Teaser/Prologue

    "Don't go, please."

The damn words tentatively repeated in the Prince's mind over and over again, synchronized with the orchestrated marching of steel boots across the beautiful trail of snow behind him. The Prince couldn't focus on the mission, his mind was constantly trailing off to better times, times absent of death, darkness and destruction. The Prince, born into an era of military glory and warfare, sought only humility and peace. The Prince removed a small locket in the shape of a heart from his pocket, along with a gorgeous ornate ring, glaring at the trinkets in the sun's immaculate rays.

    "Is something wrong?" Reginalt inquired.

Reginalt was a young, loyal and intelligent man along with being one of the Prince's childhood friends. The Prince shared a deep connection with his close friend, and decided to let him in on a secret he had been holding in his heart for some time.

"I-I was supposed to propose to her before we went out on this mission..." The Prince whispered, as to not let rumors spread among his comrades.

Reginalt grinned, "Hah! You hear that everyone?! Our Prince is going to become a King-"

Before the young Knight could finish his sentence, the bolt of a crossbow struck Reginalt in the chest, piercing the lamented plates of his chest plate and throwing the Knight into the snow. Moments later, the horn of the Undead Legions blew their furious war songs as hundreds of the damned charged out from the forest. The Knights turned their formation to face the enemy, tightening their formation with weapons brandished high.

"Knights! Protect your Prince!" A Knight beckoned.

The Prince pointed his blade towards the enemy, "Missiles!"

A mixed barrage of concentrated gunfire and volleys of arrows were let loose from the Knights, their projectiles thinning down the ranks of the approaching Undead horde. Despite the deadly accuracy of the Knights, it was apparent that their enemy far outnumbered them, as a nearly infinite number of Undead poured from the treelines and out onto the snow. Letting loose their own volleys, the Undead Skirmishers proceeded to pick off some of the Knights in return. It wasn't long before the legions of the damned were mere breaths away from the Knights...

    "Knights! Draw blades!"

The Knights hastily drew an assorted array of melee weapons, from blades to pikes and other weapons, the Knights braced themselves, their hearts steeled with the force of a thousand men.

    "For Ancarth!"

The Knights, with the most furious battle cries of man, charged head first into the endless Undead ranks, hopelessly outnumbered and unprepared, the Knights fought with rigid force, each Knight cutting down entire droves of the Undead. However, the result of the battle would be simply inevitable given the forces and resources at their disposal. The Knights were soon divided, surrounded, and one by one the Undead struck the battle-hardened Knights into the ground. It wasn't long before the once beautiful snow was soon stained with the blood of man and the damned alike, and riddled with their corpses aswell. Reginalt, rising from the endless corpses of the dead, fumbled half-dead to his Prince, the bolt firmly in his chest still protruding from his armor and gushing out blood. The wounded Knight stared down upon the last and final heir to Ancarth, the only hope that the Knights had left had now been slain and his body lay quiet in the endless snow. Reginalt removed the small, heart shaped locket from his beloved Prince, and fumbled with its primitive lock until it sprung open, revealing the picture of a young child. The Knight stared down upon the picture that lay within the heart-shaped locket and smiled.

    For there was still hope...

    Synopsis

Nearly twelve generations ago, a Kingdom of Light arose in a time of tyranny and malicious destruction. When the unending forces of Satan entered the mortal realm in a time of internal strife, humanity fought hopelessly to the near brink of extinction. When all seemed lost, when the final kingdom of man, Ancarth, had fallen under endless siege, Ecclan, the Ancarthian God of War sent ten Holy Archangels into the realm of man.

Under the command of these ten Archangels, the forces of Satan were beaten back and driven back into the abyss. The Angels, who had been in the mortal realm for far too long, began to feel the emotions of mortal life. Revered as champions of humanity, demigods and lords among men, they pleaded for their patron god to allow them life among man. Their wish was granted.

The Kingdom Ancarth, under the protection of the ten Archangels, soon became the medieval golden age and stalwart defender of man. Destroying any forces of Satan that existed in the realm of man. However, with mortality and emotion of the Archangels seeping into their once-divine hearts. They were soon corrupted and eventually sought to completely destroy both the forces of heaven and hell and establish their own immortal kingdom.

Leading an endless legion of divine paladin-knights known as the Knights of Ancarth into the weakened realm of Hell, the Archangels and the Knights of Ancarth banished Satan from his immortal throne. However, the powers of Hell were far too much to bear for the corrupted Archangels. Soon they turned against their divine knights, who believed that they were fighting in the name of God. Prince Ancarth the Fifth, heir to the throne of Ancarth, ordered his men against the Archangels.

The Knights of Ancarth, confused by their allegiances, took sides. Half of them denouncing their gods in favor of the Fallen Archangels, their saviors, the other half siding with their Prince and their loyalties to their God. A major battle that would decide the fate of the mortal realm took place in the steppes of Hell upon the empty throne of Satan himself.

The Prince's loyal knights were soon overwhelmed and slaughtered by the forces of the Angels gone mad. The Prince, barely escaping with his life, retreated out of the gates of hell, and sealed the gates using the Royal Blade of Ancarth, forever trapping the fallen Knights and their Legion within the realm of Satan. Knowing full well that the magic seal would one day unleash the forces of darkness once again into the realm of man in twelve generations.

It wasn't long before Satan found the corrupted warriors in his domain weakened. Trapped in Hell and their strength limited, Satan's endless forces soon ensnared what humanity was left in both the fallen Knights and Archangels, forcing their service as his minions for generations to come...

Prince Ancarth the Fifth, fearing the return of Satan's forces and the Archangels, appealed to the heavens once more like his father before him. The Gods, themselves fearful of the return of the Archangels in the hands of Satan, granted select families magical ability. The Kingdom reached out for every person who had received this gift, and enlisted them into the new Knights of Ancarth.

And for twelve generations, the new Knights trained in the powers of magic. Even after the Kingdom of Ancarth fell, the Industrial Revolution,eEven after man had discovered nuclear arms and how to travel into space, The Knights of Ancarth continued to train in secret. The Knights quietly grew in number. Twelve generations later, their time had finally come...

    "Your Role"

The Knights of Ancarth are a vast circle of Knights that have been tasked with the defense and preservation of the human race. Gifted by the gods with the powers of Magistra, they are the only ones capable of protecting humanity from the forces of Hell itself. In this roleplay, you play as a Knight from one of the respected four Orders of Ancarth. Each Order is a circle of Knights that have specialized in different areas of Magistra and reflect the personalities of different individual characters. As a Knight of Ancarth, you serve what has become and empty throne, and the Knightly Order has fallen into disarray. With no legitimate ruler to claim the throne, the Knights of Ancarth follow the Circlet, which is an assembly of the ten most powerful Knights in the human realm.

Expect to take on dangerous, fantasy-modern quests that will have a large series of twists and turns that will keep the story interesting and a well-developed plot that will keep players immersed...

    Disclaimer :c

Alot of stuff is still in the works but I wanted to stop procrastinating and get something out there for those who showed interest in this RP. I did promise a few things such as a list of Gods the Knights follow but have not had the time to draft or conceptualize this. Alot of the grammatical errors found in this post will be cycled through and cleaned out to the best of my ability. Please bear with me as I attempt to create the best experience for everyone, thank you!.

    Lyna Bross

Apply for Circlet: Yes, though Lyna is a bit introverted, she would want it.
    Order: Ecclesia
    Gender: Female
    Age: 23
Appearance: What one may call the image of a warrior, at least in body. She has toned muscles and a focused gaze on anything she sets her mind to. With paler skin than normal (often mistaken for an albino) and black hair, she is a rare beauty that stands out in a crowd, tattoos of red adorning her face on the right side and both of her arms and legs with what most would mistaken as fancy designs. Her most shocking feature is her icy-blue eyes. On her right forehead is the insignia of the Ecclesia Order.
Biography: Lyna's story starts with an unusual state of affairs. Most bloodlines have existed for ages and are passed down from father to son, mother to daughter, and the orders keep within their own. Sometimes though, whether it be fate or by divine judgement, a new bloodline is ignited and given holy powers and Lyna happens to be one of the few.

Her life started normally, having a happy childhood and having an unusual fascination with words and fantasy worlds where magic was commonplace and dragons would stretch against the blue sky. She decided in high school to become a writer and began planning her first book, going through college to get a creative writing degree. At the age of twenty-one, she finally published her first complete book and gained a measure of fame that is uncommon for first time writers. This allowed her the special privileged of making a living as a writer and she gladly accepted.

When she turned twenty-two however, things changed drastically when a lose warrior demon had sensed the blood in her and tried to take it from her. It was mostly in thanks to the Holy Seal that the demon was banished and destroyed, even if barely, but she soon discovered there was an entirely new world right under her nose. She still thanks the heavens that it happened in an alleyway away from prying eyes.

Always with a strong moral compass, she went about training herself to battle these foes and has made an incredible leap in her abilities when she discovered she was able to scribe runes both on surfaces and in the air. Since then, she has battled a few demons to gain experience, but was ultimately recognized by the Order of Ecclesia for her unique ability to scribe more than just the Holy Seal. After some time as an initiate, the order had come to the conclusion that her ability to scribe the Holy Seal with a decent amount of success was because of her innate Magistra.

It's been a year since her first entry into the order and has displayed an uncanny talent in scribing the angelic language. Now past the initiation stage of her life within the order, she has been sent to Eastern Europe, to a small town called East Belleviah. It was a bit of a culture shock, coming from a bigger town, but she's since found it quaint and homely.

Personality: Lyna is easy-going and laid-back on most occasions, but possess the mentality to become very serious when danger rears it's head. She is a thinker as she must be to enact her ability, as it's based on passion, focus, and logic at the same time. Still, she isn't afraid to smile when something is funny and thinks before speaking. Also more of an introvert, perfectly fine to keep to herself and only have a few friends, making her lifestyle as a (unofficial) knight easier. She has began developing her confidence recently and has made leaps from where she once was.

    Combat Information

Companion Type: Her companion is a longsword with a silver & white hilt, but etched with eight separate runes, in which the first is always glowing dimly even in sunlight.

    Orungon'Gisgna
    (Gisgna for short)

Companion Special Abilities: Able to activate each rune for more abilities, in which only up to the third rune has been activated thus far.
Orgon'Dontal: Firm. This rune maintains the blade at all times, making it impossible or nearly impossible to destroy or even rust.
Telun'Vangraph: Wave. With the command word "wave," Lyna can activate this rune to swing the blade and create a wave of force from the blade. This force isn't deadly in of itself, but it's the magnitude that gives Lyna an advantage.
Ordonmed'Famgisg: Frost. Used by itself, it coats the weapon in frost which then chills the target's blood, which ultimately reduces stamina and reduces the body's heat. Used with Wave, it can produce a wave of frost which can range from chilling the target's body to encasing it in ice, depending on the strength of the opponent.

Companion's History: Gisgna is an usual blade because of one simple fact; it was made by the user and not given by a higher power directly. The blade was simply a silver sword until Lyna dreamt one night of the runes in which to inscribe the blade with. Ever since placing the runes on the blade, it has come to a sort of subtle sentience.

Combat Prowess: Lyna in her natural state is a talented fighter and a learned swordsmen. However, with the additional runes etched into her skin, she is able to sprint, react, and move faster and focus easier on martial movements. This makes her noticeably better than most, but still not near the height of the Order of Praetor.

Knight Magistra: Enochian Runes. Lyna's Magistra comes in the form of Angelic Runes, which each have different effects depending on the rune itself. It requires a finger to quickly scribe the rune within the air or on a surface and complete it's equation before the effect will take place, driven by a floodgate of divine energy. This technique requires passion to channel the divine energy, focus to create the rune, and logic to learn and understand how the calculations of the rune actually work. If studied, the runes themselves are a mixture of symbology and math and Lyna is the first to practice this art.

Order Magistra: The Order of Ecclesia boasts the Holy Seal, in which Lyna's Enochian Runes are closely related to. For Lyna, it is a strong ability because it so closely relates to her own Magistra, but isn't practiced or used nearly as much as her runes.

    Basic Information

    Name: Vanessa Harrow
    Order: Drenoth
Apply for Circlet: Yes. It is a goal that she has been seeking to obtain for quite some time.
    Gender: Female
    Age: 19
Appearance: Vanessa is rather tomboyish in appearance. Her ivory locks do not cascade down her shoulders, but are instead short-cropped and rest just beneath her ears. However, they are still pristine and possess a luster that rivals that of runway models. When caught in the light, blonde highlights glimmer beneath her platinum strands. Vanessa's hair frames an oval-like face with strong, high cheekbones and a rather rugged jawline with an indentation in her chin. Piercing jade eyes rest below a light dusting of wispy eyebrows, and above an average nose. Her ruby red lips provide a pleasing contrast to her creamy, off-white skin and dull white, teeth.

Vanessa's smooth neck reveals an almost imperceptible larynx that produces a rich, alto voice. Her frame is lithe and petite, with narrow, bony shoulders leading down to toned arms that belie her strength. Her breasts are average in size; large enough to identify her as a female, but small enough as to go unnoticed. Her ribs are slightly visible if her clothing is removed, as is her toned stomach. Her less-than-shapely hips rest atop thin, muscular legs and diminutive size 6 feet. Vanessa stands at 5'6, and weighs approximately 120lb.

Vanessa dresses in all black leather armor from head to toe, including black leather gloves and combat boots. Underneath this armor, the knight wears a black tunic and black leggings. Her Drenoth insignia is stitched into the right shoulder of her armor and tunic, and is also tattooed in black ink on the bare skin of the same shoulder. While this leather armor provides more protection than no armor at all, it definitely pales in comparison to metal armor. However, this it allows Vanessa a much greater amount of stealth, speed, and flexibility, which are all necessary to her fighting style. Vanessa also keeps a normal wardrobe of jackets, jeans, T-shirts, and sneakers for when she needs to blend in among humans.

Biography: Vanessa was born on December 13 in 1992 into the Harrow bloodline of the Knights of Ancarth. This particular bloodline is one of the most renown families of the knights. They almost always have a member or two of their family in the Circlet. More importantly, they are known for having generations and generations of knights in the Order of Ecclesia, and also for their disdain of those within the Order of Drenoth.

From the time that she was small, Vanessa's mother began her training in the techniques and methods of Ecclesia. She taught her prayers, chants, and incantations. However, she could barely grasp even the most basic of them. Her mother still maintained hope that she would improve when her Magistra manifested itself.

One dark day, Vanessa was sitting alone in her room studying a tome of Angelic writings when she heard the whispers of a dark voice. She became dizzy, and felt a rush of energy release itself from a hidden area of her mind. Her mother walked in on her making shadow puppets on the wall...except she wasn't using a flashlight. In fact she wasn't moving at all. At first, her mother thought that she had developed Light Manipulation, one of the most revered Ecclesian Magistras.

When Vanessa's mother noticed her daughter's lack of movement, she was consumed by horror and disgust as realization slowly dawned on her. She seized Vanessa by the wrist and brutally whipped her. She locked her in a closet and left her there for days at a time. Time and time again, she would ask her to perform the prayers, and to exhibit some sort of Ecclesian Magistra; even one that hadn't been seen yet. Then, she would repeat the process until Vanessa was left broken and helpless.

Eventually, Vanessa's mother abandoned her on the doorstep of a well-known Drenoth household. The eccentric couple took her in and raised her as their own daughter. They could not believe their luck, as the wife of the household was infertile. They trained her in their arts, and allowed her to grow and flourish under their guidance. They took her to the Master of Arms, and her daggers were crafted for her and imbued with her magical energy in order to manifest their abilities.

Now, Vanessa serves as a Drenoth Knight, wandering her way through life and trying to fix what was broken inside of her.

(Note: I know this sucks, but I hate backstories, so please bear with me. XD If it is insufficient, please let me know and I'll add to it or take away from it. I'll probably edit it when the OOC comes out and I have more to work with/add to it.)

Personality: Vanessa is a tortured soul hiding behind a mask of cold indifference and professional efficiency. On the outside, the knight is cool, calm, and collected. She will not hesitate to provide a well-calculated rebuttal to anything that could be even remotely construed as hostility. Because of her abilities, she is left with a broad arsenal of personal weaponry to use against others. Vanessa does not do well in social situations, and mostly prefers to keep to herself. She does not readily volunteer any information about herself, and prefers to keep everyone at arm's length with biting remarks and outwardly exhibiting little care for their well-being.

Underneath this cold exterior, Vanessa is hurting. She was emotionally damaged by the harsh rejection she received from her family when they learned that she was destined for the order of Drenoth, and the verbal and physical abuse she experienced from them as well. She has many issues with her concept of self-worth, and often times entertains thoughts of suicide. The only aspect of herself that she sees as worthy of praise is her aptitude as a knight. That is why she trains incredibly hard and seeks to become a member of the Circlet.

Deep down, Vanessa is lonely and she is seeking someone who can gaze past the mask she wears and see who she is on the inside. She wants to experience love and friendship, but she is unable to let down her guard for fear of getting hurt. She needs someone to teach her how, someone she can open up to and share parts of herself with. Only then can she move past what her family has done to her. Once she opens up to someone and they gain her trust, she will be loyal to them without fault. However, if her trust is broken, it is virtually impossible to win back.

Despite her inner turmoil, Vanessa is able to find peace through a combination of nature and artistic ability. She is absolutely captivated by the beauty of nature. The babbling of a brook is like music to her ears, and the iridescence of the rising sun leaves her breathless. When the pressure of her own mind becomes too much, she simply finds a place laden with natural beauty, and either sketches, paints, or draws what she sees. Through this, she is able to reach a mental state of peace for a short while. This is why she detests urban areas, and is much more moody and volatile when in cities. She is not as controlled, and is even sharper with her words.

(Note: I will most likely be editing this over time as I flesh out more aspects of her personality and she grows throughout the story. This is the case with most of my characters. As you can imagine, it can become a big mess. XD)

    Combat Information

Companion Type: Vanessa's companions are twin daggers. They are colored completely black, except for a silver etching of their names into the blade in Enochian (angelic) runes. (This is Vanessa's humorous display of irony...heheh.) The hilts of the daggers are six inches in length, and two inches in diameter. They also have a metal appendage protruding from the end of the hilt shaped into the form of the Drenoth insignia. There is also a slot right beneath this appendage that the other dagger may be inserted into. The guard is four inches wide, one inch in length, and two inches thick. It is simple and metallic. The actual blade is nine inches in length. Its width begins at three inches, but gradually narrows until it comes to a sharp point at the tip of the dagger. It is thin enough to slide between the ribs of a petite woman.

When the Drenoth insignia of both daggers are inserted into each others' slots, the hilts extend and grow, creating a double-bladed sword staff. All attributes of the weapon remain the same; the middle simply grows until the entire weapon is five feet tall.

Companion Name: When separate, the names of the daggers are "Folly" and "Hubris" respectively. However, when they are combined, they are called "Acumen".

Companion Special Abilities: The names of these weapons provide a subtle hint as to what their powers might be.

Folly: Folly reveals the shortcomings, errors, weaknesses, and negative aspect of a person, animal, object, etc. Vanessa need only have the weapon on her person and be in physical contact with what she is trying to analyze in order to glean this information. Only one object/person's folly can be held at one time, and is forgotten within thirty minutes. Vanessa can use these follies to her advantage. Folly has revealed a certain level of sentience with time, reveling in the weaknesses that it uncovers.

Hubris: Folly's sister blade is quite similar in nature. However, instead of revealing the "follies" of something or someone, Hubris reveals their strengths, successes, and the positive aspects of them. The method of operation is the same. Only one object/person's hubris can be held at one time, and is forgotten within thirty minutes. Vanessa can use their own "hubris", confidence, and strength to her advantage. Hubris has also developed a sentience much like folly. However, Hubris is the positive to Folly's negative, and enjoys learning about the good aspects of others.

Acumen: When combined, the twin daggers Hubris and Folly form the swordstaff Acumen. Acumen possesses the abilities of both blades, allowing it to provide Vanessa with a complete understanding of something. She will know it/them inside and out. Acumen has an internal memory, instantly recalling all aspects of the knowledge that it absorbs. Acumen is essentially an archive that Vanessa may call upon.

Vanessa can also transfer any bit of information to someone by touching them with one of Acumen's blades. It views the information with a neutral indifference in its sentience. Because of its vast amount of knowledge, Vanessa has difficulty controlling this weapon, and has to be careful not to be consumed by the constant pulse of knowledge. She is still training with it and learning how to sort and categorize everything. Unless Acumen is activated, Vanessa cannot access its memory.

Knight Magistra~Shadowmancy: Vanessa was blessed with a rare Magistra that she has named "Shadowmancy". Vanessa can manipulate and bend shadows and darkness to her will. She can use this ability in a variety of ways, from concealing herself to hardening shadows into solid entities for offensive and defensive techniques. Vanessa can also use her manipulation of shadows to create illusions by indirectly bending light using darkness. Darkness and light share an undeniable equilibrium, and Vanessa has simply made this connection. However, it is slightly more difficult and complex to create illusions with this technique, and thus is difficult for her to control at this time. Vanessa can even go so far as to manipulate the "shadows" inside of a person's mind, making their dark thoughts more prominent and malicious, causing nightmares, and bringing torturous revelations.

Order Magistra: Vanessa has learned the art of Demonization through her training as a member of the Order of Drenoth. The knight simply brings forth the memories of her abuse and rejection, and transfers this into a dark, boiling rage and hate. She transforms herself into a terrifying demon. Her platinum locks turn black as night, and her hair grows down to the middle of her back. The sclera of her eyes turn black, and her iris turns blue. She has no pupal. Her skin turns a ghastly gray shade, she grows fangs and clawed hands and feet, and black bat wings sprout from her back. Her Shadowmancy becomes much more potent, and allows her to create semi-sentient shadow entities to battle for her. Vanessa can only hold this transformation for ten minutes at most, and it leaves her completely drained and exhausted until she has rested. It is a last resort weapon.

Question #1: Are you planning on adding any more Order Magistras? If you aren't, are we allowed to come up with our own that we could pool together in a sort of "master list", and we'd only be allowed to have three of them? It would take some pressure off of you and allow for a more "player-involved" touch to the game. Just a suggestion. If I'm needlessly rambling, my apologies lol.

Question #2: Are you planning on adding a god of Darkness or something along those lines? I was thinking of mentioning that this god was whispering to Vanessa and she received her powers from him/her/it.

Thanks! And let me know if my CS is okay.

    EDIT 2:
EDIT: Question #3: (They just never stop do they? XD) Are we allowed to claim a position as a member of the circlet? I don't particularly care which position, I would just like to be a member. Could it be like a first come first served type deal? If not, could we earn the position through RP? Just wondering. I wanted to make Vanessa a member, but I wasn't sure if you had the whole Circlet thing reserved for other people or something like that.
This question is no longer relevent

EDIT:Question #4: You probably hate this question, but when do you plan on starting, and on what scenario? I just like to plan things early. If you don't know it's perfectly alright. I'm just a very inquisitive fellow. Heheh

    Basic Information

    Name:
    Fey O'Conner
    Order: Praetor
    Gender: Female
    Age: 23

    Appearance:

A pale girl, with bright red hair. Large green eyes, and plenty of freckles dotting her cheeks and shoulders. Her figure is scrawny and boyish. Dark circles rest under her eyes due to her insomnia. She prefers to take on a tough girl appearance, with plenty of piercings. She does not wear the symbol of her order on her clothing. Instead it is inked into her skin. The symbol of the order rests on her breast. All over other parts of her body Ravens varying in design are tattooed. Her style is usually tanks, stretch skinnies, and very large combat boots that are often only tied partway. Her battle armor is thin and flexible, allowing her maximum movement with as much protection as she feels necessary.

Biography: She was born from death. A life had to be given in order for her own to be gained. Her mother was unable to bear children. She prayed endlessly to the goddess of fertility with no answer. Finally she found her way to ancient magics. Morrigan, goddess of Life and Death, answered her prayers with a dream. She must kill another living being in order to conceive. Trade a soul for a soul.

There was a young man who went sigh seeing in Ireland. He was pale, with black hair and ruddy good looks. Mother was smitten. He would do nicely. And so the woman seduced him. Many times they had intercourse. And when the last day came, the man was killed. Nine months later little Fey was born. Her mother brought her up to worship Morrigan. 'Thank the Lady for your life. If it were not for her you would not be born.' The little girl did not quite understand, but she loved her patron goddess. A woman who could kill and seduce men. She dreamed of being just like that.

From about the age of three she had strange dreams. All around her people she knew, people she didn't know. She saw their deaths. She felt the moment a blade entered their stomach, a bullet pierced their spines, or they fell from buildings. She often did not sleep, so as to stay away from those scary things. Fey became very proficient at a young age with video games.

Even at a young age Fey was a space-case. She did not do well in any school subject except for gym. It did not require much thought and she enjoyed physical activity.

At the age of ten her mother took her own life to join Morrigan. Fey came in upon her, bloody in the bathtub. "Baby girl," she had whispered, "Know I love you, but I must go. Morrigan calls me to atone for our agreement." And with that her mother had gone.

She had no one left in the world. The cool green of Ireland and Morrigan were her only comforts. As she sat at her mother's funeral she was approached by a woman. Tall, slender white, and beautiful. She knelt down in front of Fey. "I am your Father's sister. Special blood runs deep through your veins." At this point Fey spaced out, beginning to wonder what it would be like to sit at Morrigan's side. "What do you say?" Fey blinked and then nodded, no idea what she was agreeing to.

And then she was off to some mysterious place. Fight the bad guys. War and bloodshed. She liked the idea, though she learned very early on she had to pretend to like all the gods shown to her. False worship. She felt dirty doing it, but it was necessary for survival. Like the Jews who pretended to be Christians during the Spanish Inquisition.

As it turned out her father had been one of the Knights, and it took them quite a while to find out what had happened to him. He had been on a pilgrimage to visit the lands of his forefathers. She was given his old sword, though for her it never turned into a sword. The weapon spoke to her. Together they felt more comfortable using polearms. The more practiced she became with it, the more beautiful Excalibur appeared.

She was taught lessons by fellow Knights. Often the lessons would be at strange times, and her learning became very spotty considering no one kept track of what she had learned. This did not bother her as she did not do well anyway. Practice with Excalibur, pretend to enjoy 'church', kill rats and the like as offerings to Morrigan. She was very careful and sneaky about it too.

    Personality:
She is absolutely clueless, an air head. Not the bubbly, blonde bimbo type of air head. Just the sort of person who wanders through life in a daydream daze. She has no problem with talking to people, but more often than not she has no filter between her brain and her mouth. Her eyes often have a glazed looks, as if she is in a far off place. Fey almost never smiles. She is a bit slow and does not generally get jokes right away. And so her laughter comes later than others. When training, her entire being goes to feeling the weapon she uses. It talks to her by way of color and emotion. She responds. Excalibur is her closest and dearest friend. She is a bit spontaneous and unpredictable due to the fact she never thinks things out. The future is not something she looks toward, but neither is living in the past or now. She simply seems to exists on another plane, coming to reality with a jolt and a lot of confusion.

She feels very close to her patron goddess, Morrigan. A goddess of death and life. Of war and passionate love. Her symbol is the raven and she requires a blood sacrifice, which Fey is all too willing to give. She is an insomniac, having trouble sleeping due to horrific nightmares. This only adds to her condition of being a space case.

    Combat Information

Companion Type: Pole arm made from blackthorn.

    Companion Name:
    Excalibur

Companion Special Abilities: Excalibur may transform into any pole arm that has ever existed before, though much more decorative in appearance, and sturdier than the average pole arm. In it's rested form it is simple a blackthorn stick, though the tip is much heavier, as that is where the metal will grow to take the desired shape. The decorative-ness of the weapon is directly proportionate to the amount of love and trust between the weapon and the wielder.

    Knight Magistra: Super human speed/strength.

Order Magistra: Fey is rather skilled at the Death Lotus, due to her main goddess. Often she dreams of people she has never met, and never will meet. She dreams of their deaths and feels their pains.

She is, I just still haven't finished her character sheet yet so it's blank.

EDIT 2: This question is no longer relevent

EDIT:Question #4: You probably hate this question, but when do you plan on starting, and on what scenario? I just like to plan things early. If you don't know it's perfectly alright. I'm just a very inquisitive fellow. Heheh
#1 EDIT: I misread your question at first and answered it, after reading it again, Yes, I was in fact planning on adding more Order Magistra to each Order but never got around to it. I kinda left it up to the player to make up their own Magistras related to their Order to compensate for this... A master pool may be a sufficient idea to fill this gap.

#2 The 'God' of Darkness and Lord of Hell is simply Satan. The Order of Drenoth hears Satan's whispers constantly, but are never enticed by his words. Rather, they are frightened by him and seek to learn his methods to protect themselves from him. They are masters at manipulating the Dark Energies that Satan controls and can use them at their will.

#4 I plan on starting once I fill up the player slots I want with characters that I feel fit the story well. It will also be started when I can get around to finish pathing the main story line. I wish I could give you a date or time, but like the OOC, things never go according to plan.

Your CS looks great so far, I'm still waiting on some more submissions before I consider accepting characters though.

Maybe you can help me get what I want
Curve your little spine and tell me that you're mine
It's all about the game and what you flaunt

    Basic Information

    Name: Shiva of the East
    Order: The Order of Drenoth
    Gender: Female
    Age: 28
    Appearance:

Shiva is an exotic figure, tanned with silver hair and charred orange eyes. She is built in a very feminine manner, with a curvy waist and ample buxom. She is fairly toned, becoming especially noticeable when she is carrying her Companion weapon. She wears more... revealing clothing being accustomed to such design from her origins, though only in combat situations, where she finds maneuverability to be more important than protection; after all, it's unlikely a set of regular armor would do much good against a horde of demons, right? Her common clothing is composed of tank-tops, jeans, and other more "summer-like" articles.

Nevertheless, her Drenoth ability generates a set of heavy ashen armor that covers her from head to toe. A gentle glow of heat emanates from the slits and joints of this demonic form, and her helmet literally leaks streams of molten lava.

    Biography: TBC
    Personality: WIP

    Combat Information

Companion Information: "Bhūkampa" an immense greatsword born of the fires of Hell. Legend tells of a historic knight of Drenoth who foolishly jumped into Hell, hoping to make a name for himself. There he encountered a powerful demon, who was miraculously bested by the knight. To save his life, the demon allowed him a powerful weapon if he would be let free. The knight accepted, and the demon escaped. Satisfied, the knight escaped Hell with Bhūkampa in hand. Generations later, it finds itself in Shiva's hands. At nearly six feet long, many find the weapon impossible to wield. Shiva's heritage from the original owner allows her to use Bhūkampa with ease. Unfortunately, a curse was laid on all who touch the weapon; it causes all other weapon-like objects to become unusable for the possessor. Objects generally not thought of as weapons shatter in Shiva's hands if she tries to use them as weapons. Bhūkampa is her only tool for battle.

Bhūkampa in Hindi stands for "Earthquake" and fittingly too, for the weapon's sundering attacks literally shakes the Earth with each strike. It is a passive ability, and Shiva cannot prevent the sword from causes miniature local quakes. Where it hits, small craters are left with jagged rocks spearing forth from the impact point.

Due to its origins, Bhūkampa obviously possesses a demonic/darkness affinity as well.

Knight Magistra: With its earthen affiliation, Bhūkampa grants its user a more potent Earth Element manipulation ability. Shiva is capable of telekinetically shifting minerals, rock, dirt, etc... into several shapes, sizes, as well as moving them about the air/ground. Uses range from launching boulders of stone to raising a several-foot-thick wall of dirt, or even creating insta-tunnels. For some reason, this ability matched with Bhūkampa's curse causes Shiva to be very weak against the Fire Element.

Order Magistra: As a Knight of Drenoth, Shiva is capable of imbuing her soul with the temporary aura of a demon from Hell. Her body is warped to fit the image in tandem, and her mind is unfortunately clouded with the hatred or anger that was required to bring about the state of being. Though Shiva finds herself closer to Satan and Hell than any other Order, tempering and training has allowed her to casually blow away the temptations and whispers of the Dark Lord himself. If anything, she can hear them, understand them, and think about them without worrying for her mental health. The Drenoth Order has gifted her with this passive ability to resist the evils of the world and beyond.

Still a WIP, but putting it here anyways.

You win 2 internets, plus a teriyaki slider. Enjoy.

If you used Lautrec I would have no choice but to kill you while you stared at a caged woman hug you.
