Adding to OP WIP Nations.-Race-
Rondorans are a species that resemble something of an arthropoid, lobster-like humanoid. On average, they will measure seven feet tall. In a sense, they could be called crab people, though the term would be both highly offensive and inaccurate.
Culture: Rondorans almost universally place family as their highest priority, forming large clans. A name is extremely important to rondorans, for their names carry their lineage. In fact, a rondoran's name will change as they age, perform deeds, and create connections with other clans. Polygamy is fully endorsed. However, it is not gender-locked, meaning there may be multiple husbands, or multiple wives, and such people are known as either "Falren," husband, or "Falrei," wife. In a sense, the rondorans could be likened to partially feudal society.
They live upon their large world of Terth(Terth has almost double the surface area of Earth, though the planet has only a little more mass than Earth), heavily splintered into hundreds of nations, all trying to grab as much as possible for their people, whilst undermining the other nations. War is frequent, swift, and extremely brutal at times. The planet has been heavily scarred by the increasing frequency of war, and some rondoran scholars worry that the full-scale deployment of nuclear weapons is quickly becoming inevitable (tactical nukes have been in use for almost a decade now).
There are about six different major religions/philosophies present, ranging from monotheistic religions(three), polytheistic(two), and atheistic(one). Beyond this, there are sub-philosophies, and smaller cults and other lesser religions.
Rondorans breed roughly once year, with a fertility period of around a decade, laying a small clutch of three eggs on average. They are fiercely protective of their eggs and the larvae that hatch from them, and will attempt to kill anyone who tries to disturb them, without warning. As such, no government dares to attempt early population control, instead choosing to throw the young rondorans into the army once they come of age, give them a rifle, and point them at the enemy.
The few rondorans who survive the almost universal "All Citizens Serve" laws will go on to colleges, or just try to live normal lives. Many become anti-war as a result of their service, but voicing their opinions is not allowed in most nations. Frustration with the current state of Terth is quickly reaching a head, as protests are exploding across the surface against many nations, some of the protestors turning violent in order to survive against the military police.
"Loyal to the End": Rondorans maintain fierce loyalty to family. They are protective of every family member, and clans maintain close connections, even across the planet. If you can somehow convince a rondoran that you a part of their family (which is possible), they will take bullets for you, no matter what you do.
"Clan War": Clans are inherently suspicious and distrustful of one another, and often seek to amass power for their clan, while undermining other clans. The same applies to nations, which has heavily contributed to the rondoran lack of unity.
Nation Name: No universal name.
Nation Type: Rondorans are too conflicted and unadvanced to have their type of nation determined.
Nation Traits: Rondorans are too conflicted and unadvanced to have their nation traits determined.
Size: Tiny (1 Planet, Terth)
Population: 19 Billion (Terth is almost twice the size of Earth, and many rondorans do in fact live in slums.)
Technology Level: Level 4, no solar colonies.
Culture: Rondorans have art, music, etc, just like any other conventional nation. Mostly see culture in Races.
History: Terth has been gripped by war almost since rondorans first began organizing into clans. Technology advanced, empires came, empires fell, etc, until the present day, a time when the situation on Terth has become incredibly grim. The entire species stands on the brink of total self-destruction, nuclear arsenals possessed and openly used by many of the nations, massive million man armies marching and rolling across the surface in desperate bids to take new lands and resources, the population becoming uncontrollable, protestors igniting revolutions. The entire ecosystem is beginning to fail under rondoran pressure. In truth, Terth seems to have become a ticking time bomb.
Military details: Most of the rondoran militaries are like modern-day armies. Some are obviously less advanced, using older models, while others reach strengths approaching that of American forces.
