Why I Hate Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day this year...

Will be spending that playing war games with my daughter and my little brother.

Fuck being lonely.

I've finally come to terms with my loneliness, and in doing so, it seems easier to get out and try making friends. So far it's working.

So I will not be alone this Valentines Day I'm bringing a friend to go do some romantic stuff. Just for fun.

And I don't see what all the naysaying is about. Whatever it's origins are, Valentines Day is now just an over commercialized way to sell flowers, chocolates, and condoms. Why should this infuriate you? Just find a date and have fun, or sit at home and do what you normally do. I see it as a win win really.
