Notes: This is being written from the perspective of the game of Civilization IV i'm starting just for this with Beyond the Sword.
Huge World; Terran Map; Marathon Speed; Only victory possible. Extermination of the Enemy.
The Scarazani Nation is based off of Churchill England.
1 Gold in game is assumed to = 1'000 gold.
All Rulers are going to be "Gods" due to the never die issue.
And here we go!
Dawn of the First Age.
4'000 BC:
I am God-Emperor Kadaeux Soulforge of the Scarazani Empire. Entrusted with the fate of my people. Nomads since time immemorial I have decided that it is time for use to settle and found a city, Scarazar City itself, bearing the name of my people they would see it with pride. Learning that my people know of fishing and mining I decide that I must find a place that exploits all of them. Leaving my hut I cast my gaze upon the world.
My people, my glorious people, stand upon a hill gazing down on the ocean to the south and a small village. To the east some of our warriors stand ready upon another great hill before the forests edge. To the west I see wild corn and forest, and to the north, a lake across which I can with my godlike sight see incense growing. I decide that this is where we must settle. As my people settle I am approached by the workmen. "What oh God-Emperor do you desire of us."
"Train workers to work the lands for we must farm to eat. Mine to live and even fish the seas." Even as I finish speaking a man runs up to me. "My Lord. The village to the south! They wish to join us!"
I begin my journey towards them and see they have in deed desired to do so packing up their village and offering to found our next city. I could smell my greatness begin to swell, wait no, it's the fish. With sudden decisiveness I decide to send them west. Of the warriors I order them to head to the Northeast and seek out more such villages.
3985 BC:
The city has not come far in these fifteen years, but the passage of time means little to I, the God-Emperor. For my people it has been an age of drinking, fornication and progress, much of which they would never see come to pass in their short lives.
I received word that the Settlers had continued until they found the sea and turned north. As they head north they found a desert and they believe they have found a small hill perfect for a settlement, I would see when they arrived and decided whether to make them go on or not. The warriors continue their travels north-east towards a great mountain. As I peer into the minds of their sergeant I can see they will have to go around it.
3970 BC:
The warriors have begun their trek around the mountain and I have noticed a village and have directed them towards it, but it will be some time before they approach it, the Settlers however found their hill and I have judged. It is sparse in life and is not suitable to be a city. They must continue. Or perish in the attempt.
3955 BC:
The Warriors reached the village and plundered it of its riches, fifty-three thousand gold. They will be celebrated for their little conquest. However as my Settlers continue their journey north I have discovered some worthless nothing called Peter, a so-called God-King of Russia! I have pronounced there shall be peace in our time but there shall not. I shall plunder his women, kill his cities and rape his men! Oh... Ah... *Listens intently* Oh.. correction, that's plunder his cities, kill his men and rape his women!
Perhaps i'll just conquer them instead. Rape, Plunder... it all sounds very exhausting...
3940 BC:
My Settlers have found a village and incorporated its people into its own and took nearly fifty thousand gold from their coffers before quietly disposing of the undesirable elements in a convenient ditch. Indeed, there is even suitable land to found a city on nearby!.
The Warriors have begun heading north for now. They best do their job.
3910 BC:
After some time my Settlers have found beautiful land to settle on with nearby gold, pigs and even Clams when the city has grown a bit more. I order them to found the city and name it Kadaeuxia in honour of myself. Because some of these youngings just don't give a God-Emperor the respect he deserves in this age. I have ordered them to start training warriors to protect the city from raiders.
The Warriors however have hit the easternmost edge of the land upon which we found ourselves. I can't help but wonder what lay beyond it's edge.
3820 BC:
After nearly a century the cities continue their slow growth and the Warriors have found the lands of this Peter of Russia. Perhaps I would invade. Yes. I thing I will.
3805 BC:
My Warriors surged into the City of Moscow like a raging storm and took 13'000 gold from its coffers before they burned the city to the ground and cut down its meagre citizens like the cattle they resembled! In one fell swoop purging the Russian Civilization from the world. One down and many more to go. All would be purged until only Scarazar and it's God-Emperor, I Kadaeux Soulforge remain!
3775 BC:
My scientists have come to me and spoken of the science of Mysticism, and how we could build Monuments and even something called Stonehenge! I order them to study hunting next as the warriors move back south to complete our maps from Moscow. Perhaps I would site a new city on its ashes in the coming centuries?
3655 BC:
The warriors finished the maps and headed north once more travelling for over a century until I find my attention drawn once more to a new civilization. The Zulus. Would I need to purge them too from the world of men? Of course I would. But there would be time for that later. But I would not go idly.
3625 BC:
Thirty years from our meeting with the Zulus I was approached by my scientists once more having learned hunting they shared their secrets with my people. But it was still early and so I instructed them to study Archery.
3580 BC:
My warriors are attacked! Wild wolves from the forest seething forwards in a roiling mass of fur assaulted my men! And for it they perished. With my god-sight I think I see tundra in the distance. At least the pelts would warm my men.
3550 BC:
Scarazar City has completed training the workers who I expected to till the land like the loyal slaves workers that they were. I would tolerate no less. I ordered the city to start training a scout at once before turning to the leader of the workers ordering him to prepare the farmland to the west properly instead of leaving it unrefined.
3520 BC:
THe Warriors continued their journey towards the north into the frozen tundra where they find a village and pillage its coffers of gold. But I hear the howls of wolves close on their trail. Perhaps they would pursue and I could end this pack as well?

It has only just begun.
