I'm enjoying the mental image of a scrappy mech wielding a severed tank turret, taking the full brunt of the recoil before manually sliding in the next cartridge like an old single-shot rifle. Or alternatively, something similar to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wrNMPRriwc&t=31

Hi again. Sorry that I haven't posted but I guess hurricane Sandy still did a number at my job. Been real busy this week due to the monday "off" and now my job is trying to make up for that loss of day. It's just been a bit stressful that I couldn't focus on post making without droping F-bombs all over it. Again, my apologies for the hold-up on my part.

    Could've moved to Statin Island.

The reason they're 'forgotten' is because the infrastructure is so upside-down and the lack of agents on the east-coast (FEMA works overseas, too) that they litterally can't deal with their problems yet.

There are more news-reporters in NY right now, than workers on behalf of FEMA on the government payroll in the world.

The roads are also shit, and any tanker-truck anywere near the place was either ruptured or flipped, so they'll have to wait for fuel to arrive from California (4 days away) because the port-facilities for directly off-loading fuel is totalled.

Meanwhile, we have a 100-ship navy of which half is nuclear-powered and half of those are stationed within the Arlantic. One of the fringe-benefits of a "floating city" like the USS Ronald Reagan is they can support several thousand metric fucktons of refugees without breaking a sweat. They also carry enough spare infrastructure to jury-rig some way of offloading gasoline, and have helicopters than can bypass demolished streets.

Obama pulled us out of two wars last season, so where have these ships gone?

    Oh, and aircraft-carriers got internet.

Sadly, Durundal cannot come to your rescue until someone orders for it. However, he can write a letter to the commander-in-chief, offering the ship's services (be sure to get signatures from the rest of the enlisted crew).

Back on topic: Cayman Lerr. Lamia is on it. You are not.

It was going to be Pacifist 2. But then I saw your post and made a quick substitution. (Assuming it's a jeep, which is still a truck)

The deer was supposed to be more freaked-out by the mech's arrival than by her presesnce (assuming many years of penetrating enemy lines taught her anything).

So to go-over changes in appearance:
-Yassir the unconvincingly manly exo-suit when meeting Taran(y).
-Yassir in Mr Bubbles when they met Ricky.
-Marlene out of her armor when meeting Pacifisty.

Hey DMZ, are there any more compounds or checkpoints to scope out for the primary objective, or should I move on?

As far as I can see, that is all you can see from your current position.
