Haha- well he's used the same trick on her twice now. She's starting to get it now. It just took him using it on another person to figure it out.

I would have had her add on to what he said, but I'm almost positive the thugs wouldn't stand for anymore talk after that and am more anxious in seeing whats going to happen now~

People don't expect Deku to be confrontational, sometimes that works in his favour. He also seeds things with a grain of truth, tends to give people pause. And making people's imaginations mull over his graphic descriptions of violence, grotesque body horror, and telling people their loved ones are fucked unless they do something he suggests tends to give people pause, as well. >.>

Although, I'm having a feeling Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, and Charlie are either not going to take his threats seriously, or be too thick to get the gist of what he's saying.

I just finished my new character. I want to see what you guys think about him, so I’m going to go ahead and put him up. Don’t expect me to post with him until the 27th rolls around though, I’m not much for breaking rules.

Name: Cytomandra Shuzack; Cytomandra the Swift

Race: Hylian

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Pretty much this, but with pointed ears.

Clothing/Armor: Cytomandra wears a elegant green one piece jumpsuit. It’s lined with gold trim, and has frills at the ends of the arms and pant legs. It has white fur coming out the top, as well as a peacock tail and feathers. He wears a pair of green boots, and white lace elbow length gloves. Lastly, he wears a golden tiara with a large emerald in the center. This also has a red plume coming out of it.

Primary Weapon:

The Hawkeye Crossbow is a very well made weapon. Its base is made of a rich dark oak, and has iron attached to it. Cytomandra is particularly attracted to the hawk at the front of this weapon, as it fits his bird theme. The arrows he uses are specially made, and all have a red plume as well as green feathers at the end.

Fighting Style: Cytomandra is the type of guy who keeps his distance, shooting his arrows. If things get close range and dirty, he doesn’t have many attacks. The best he could do would probably be slapping someone. Instead, he uses self-defense, and acrobatics. He likes to deflect the enemy’s blows using a swooping maneuver, and twisting the enemy’s arms. Cytomandra is a very frail person, and cannot stand any type much physical contact, stress, or discomfort.

Inventory: A deck of cards, makeup case, hairbrush, one bottle filled with red potion, 30 arrows, money pouch, a few food items wrapped up in brown paper, a leatherback diary with a green feather pen and a bottle of ink.

Backstory: Cytomandra was born and raised in Hyrule Castle. His parents were apart of those who protected the king, and their son was to protect the princess when his time came. From the day he could walk, Cytomandra was trained physically and mentally. His parents and teachers scolded him though, because they say he “half-assed” most of his training. His parents didn’t know it, but the boy didn’t really want to protect the princess. In fact, he wanted to be in the princess’ shoes himself. He wanted to be praised and adored by the citizens! He wanted to eat fine meals, and be pampered head to toe! Why was he cursed with this life? Why did he have to suffer through this grueling, tiring training? Cytomandra grew to resent the princess, which is why he was delighted to hear that the princess was killed by Ganondorf. He expected his training to stop, but it didn’t. Now Cytomandra would be trained to protect King Dreyfus.

So his training continued on and on, and the years went by. Cytomandra finally had enough off it when he turned seventeen. He packed a back-sack, and fled the castle when everyone was asleep. He hated to admit it, but his training helped him get past the guards. He stole a horse from the stables and headed west, to the little fort town of Ura Grande. The fort here is located right at the mouth of the Gerudo Gulch, and was used with the intent to protect the kingdom from a Gerudo attack if one ever came. There’s a town here now, but it’s been said that the fort may be taken any day now; as it’s a tactical combat position. When Cytomandra arrived, he sold the horse for a lump sum of gold and started to rent a room. That money wouldn’t be enough though, he needed to work. He had a problem right then, because no one would hire him. The only job he could get was dancing at the local “Gentleman’s Club” as some of the customers there preferred a different type of dancer. And at the time, he was fine with the job. His acrobatics training made him flexible enough to get almost everyone look at him, the customers tipped well, and he got to dress up in outfits that suited his style.

On a later date, a few years after Cytomandra arrived at Ura Grande, he was approached by a man who claimed he rather enjoyed the boy’s dancing. He claimed to be Maximilian Topilio, of the Grand Topilio Circus. Maximilian said that he would love for Cytomandra to join up as an acrobatic. He offered a job, as well as a free home and food. As expected, Cytomandra accepted. To him, this acrobatic job was just like his job at the Gentleman’s Club, except it was on wheels. Almost every night he would perform under the big top, bringing joy to children now instead of horny adults.

One day, on a Tuesday in fact, a sharpshooter quit out of stress and frustration. This man’s job was too use a crossbow to shoot at a woman on a spinning wheel. It was supposed to install excitement and fear into the patrons. They in fact used arrows with blunt ends instead of sharp ones, but the customers didn’t know that. Cytomandra saw this as an opportunity to earn some extra cash, so he asked Mr. Topilio if he could do the act. Cytomandra was trained to use a crossbow back at the Castle, and he was a pretty decent shot. What could Mr. Topilio say? A show was to happen tonight, and the sharpshooter bit was one of their more popular acts. So Cytomandra preformed that night, and the crowd went wild when every arrow missed the girl.

I guess you could say that history repeats itself, because a few years later, Cytomandra was approached yet again by a person who wanted to employ him. This time it was Rosalina Halifax. Impressed by his sharpshooting and overall style, Rosalina wanted to add Cytomandra to her group of archers. He saw this as a new experience, so he accepted. And this brings us all to that horrible day when Rosalina led her group up Death Mountain. He was one of the 80 men and woman who fled the portal that led to dark world, sickened on the fact that his perfect body may turn into something hideous. He was able to make it off that mountain, and walked all the way to Kakariko. He’s been renting a room here for quite some time, thinking about what he should do with his life. But his thinking’s all led him to one thing, how he despises the royal family. So now, Cytomandra’s set out to join the resistance. He also feels that carrying out his boss’ goal in obtaining the Triforce would be a good goal as well, so he plans to carry that one out someday.

I'm seeking a reply from the other members of the merc troop first. I'm sure Airyn will have something to say. Y'know, avoiding unnecessary conflict and such. If Beryl ever gets off of her boat take and posts, that is.

Kind of makes me regret running an encounter with all five o' yalls. I tend to do these things in a more fragmented way to avoid an unnecessary clusterfudge.

Posted. Say Chanda, I am working on a CS for a sorcerer changed by Ganon's dark world. He specializes in Fire magic( a bit of a pyromaniac actually) and had mo small hand in the destruction of the Kokiri forest/Lost Woods. Ganon could use a PC on his side, yes?

Uh, okay, I guess. I mean, both you and Marik know that if two new members drop by, they'll take priority over your second characters. That's a rule of mine, as I loathe people who double up; it allows one lazy fubar to hold up two storylines at the same time.

You know, I'm just going to go ahead and voice the concern over Marik's character. Chanda made the point that any self respecting Shiekah would try to kill Cytomandra, and Airyn would definitely be one to despise him for the betrayal to the Royal Family. I am sorta not loving the idea of there being someone she is duty bound to kill, because that is definitely how she would feel. That just throws a wrench in what I'm hoping to accomplish with her. So...Idk, I just thought I'd voice that, but please don't think I'm just shooting down your character, Marik. What are your thoughts?

I'd have to say Beryl has a point. I don't see much of a reason why Cytomandra (weird name and appearance by the way. Jumpsuits aren't exactly very Zelda-ish) has to be a Sheikah, other than the fact that you thought there were a lack thereof. The same goals could be accomplished with a Hylian; Hylians can serve the Royal Family too, it's just not their destiny to do so.

So I could just keep him exactly the same, but make him Hylian? I guess that could work, but his betrayal seems so much better with him being a Sheikah.
