Question: I understand that characters can't be immortal or indestructible but what about a character's item? Because I was thinking about making a knight character who had a impenetrable/indestructible shield. Would that be ok?

Welp, Lambda is capable of phasing out of worlds. Personally, I don't see why not have a shield that is capable of blocking everything. As long as the character him or herself is vulnerable to hits that aren't blocked.
But then, I'll leave the last say to the host and judges.

Well Travster, Alphakoka pretty much hit it on the head there. Just so you know, I don't judge. There are judges but I'm still organizing things with them. I just maintain and manage the threads.
MrShoe321 I'm not very comfortable with the words indestructible, invulnerable, invincible, impenetrable, impregnable, immortal, impervious, or really anything along those lines whether it's for a character or an object. I would prefer resistant, resilient, durable, or things of that nature. Also, just so you know Hymm, phasing away from or dodging too often can effect your score. Just a heads up.
