How many active role plays do you do at once?

Depends on how busy I am.

When busy- 3
When not- 5-6.

Averages out to about 4.

I also like to spread the difficulty. On here, you'll normally only find me in advance, and occasionally I creep out my hole for Casual(like at the moment)

Free/Casual should really be done in an Social Group in my opinion, more places you can list, predefined areas, and you can make more. No need to describe it if it's already done, where as in advance, you can't get people to shut up anyways, so why bother trying? This site doesn't tend to have good SG settings though.

I'm currently doing two, but it will probably rise to three or four during the summer holidays. I don't like to feel like I am obligated to write; that just puts me off actually enjoying it. So, I stick to a lower number so I have more freedom to write when I feel like it, and reap all the joy I can from it, rather than over-stretching myself.

I generally have between 2 and 5 so I said 3. This is not the only roleplaying site I am a part of so I count them into it as well. Currently I am running one game on this site and is playing in two others. I am also trying to start up a Monster High game. I am also involved in a Dune game and a Mage the Ascension play by post elsewhere on the internet.

varies a lot... 2 active now, a couple or so in OOC level, and one in planning elsewhere... but thats mostly because we've not found sufficient others that met our interests enough to join... (that were/are open)

I usually keep 4-5 RPs. And in any one of them I usually have from 2 to 9 or 10 important PC (that's right: important plot-related Player Characters), followed by an army of NPCs.

I participate in lots of roleplays. Many of them are on my iPhone or Skype. I find the ability to remember and adjust to situations separate the interesting from the average.

While I'm very picky about fanfic roleplays and things that have been done many times over, I do get the random harebrained idea to go and do one. I went and counted my current roleplays (including the one I am preparing for on this site), and it amounted to thirteen. Most of them are on my phone though...X.x I have too much time on my hands when I'm at home. XD
