Tsuneo bit on his lowerlip and sighed in disappointment."Right, right we need to go." he said and held onto the handle of his katana."did you take our things?" He asked Tara.

Tara nodded and emptied a large sack on the ground, among the things in there , there were a couple of Tsuneo's and Tsubaki's things.

Tsuneo sighed and nodded, picking up them and giving Tsubaki's belongings to her."So.. Uhm, Tsubaki how did you manage to escape by the way?"

Tara rolled her eyes and sighed walking behind them.

She took her belongings, a simple small sack, and then slipped it inside her obi. She was a bit distracted when he asked her that question. How would she answer him...? "I...when I woke up, the guards were running toward you and hibiki's direction. I didn't know what happened, but I took the chance to run," she improvised as best as she could, omitting the thing about killing those four soldiers.

Tsuneo noticed a slight change of tone in her voice. She was lying, deffinetly. He could easily hear that, a normal ear couldn't but he could."Oh alright. Well good that you managed o escape." he said and sighed.

Tara was walking beside them and grinned."where are we going?" she asked grinning widely, the woman sure was energetic.

Apparently he didn't completely believe her excuse. It was a mistake, after all. It's always like that when she heard that name...she lost her reasoning and acted by emotion. She couldn't do anything, though, so she didn't say anything else to him.

Tara was like an ice breaker, suddenly bringing another topic to the conversation. She was glad and annoyed at the same time. "We planned to go to the next village, but the attack messed it up...I don't know, I'll just follow Tsuneo-san," she turned toward him.

Tsuneo looked at her and at Tara and he sighed."Tara you better go back home, why did you leave anyway?" He asked and sighed.

Tara frowned and glanced at him."to find you obviously?" she looked at him and sighed."I'm not comiong back, my father will make me marryanother grumpy samurai." she grinned.

Tsuneo looked at her and sighed."Lets just go somewhere... I don't care where."

So Tara's going to tag along as well...Tsubaki's not really mind having her along, but it nevertheless annoyed her quite a bit. Especially since Tsuneo and her had that kind of connection...

She wondered where they should go next? Even after two years away from her home, it didn't feel like she'd travel far away. She's just going where her sister's trail led her to, after all. Speaking of her sister, it seemed that she's there in the capital...but it's not like she could ask Tsuneo to go there, that'd be suicide.

"Let's just walk for now, if we stayed here those soldiers or their reinforcements will find us," she strided first back into the forest, disappearing from Tsuneo and Tara's sight between bushes. When she ran this way before she recognized some kind of road a bit further ahead. They might be able to find a village if they followed it. She's sure the two could follow her.

Tsuneo raised his eyebrow as Tsubaki ran off and sighed. He ran a hand through his hair and then started heading after her trails. "come on." he muttered to Tara. The woman nodded and walked after him.

Soon,theyreached where Tsubaki was, and Tsuneo noticed a road.It was quite familiar to him, but he couldn't remember where from. He guessed that he probablly visited here before, he had traveled alot and it's more likely that he'll go to the same road.

Tsuneo then glanced at Tsubaki."Hey, what about your sister? Maybe this village has information about her?" He asked, remembering that she was searching for her.

From the road it's not far to the village. They could reach it before evening, at most. ot many people were around, but the grinded soil gave the impression that horses and carriages seldom take this path.

She smiled at Tsuneo's suggestion. So he cared about her problem after all...that's kind of sweet of him. She leaned closer to him and suddenly kissed him on his cheek. "Thanks for worrying," she whispered only for him to hear.

Tsuneo looked at her slightly confused when she laid the soft kiss on his cheek. He smiled just a little and snickered, rubbing the back of his head."Sure." he said calmly.

Tara rolled her eyes and sighed."jeez you two are like bunnies. i can't belive you're were the emperor's samurai." she said and sighed. Tsuneo sighed and glanced at her. He walked a little further to Tsubaki and then glanced at her."whats her name? "He refered to Tsubaki's sister. If he was going to help her find her sister he'd have to know her name.

She smiled sheepishly when he snickered. When he walked ahead, She paced up until she walked side-by-side to him, clinging to his arm. "My sister's name? You don't need to worry too much about this...It's my problem. I'll be able to do it somewhat," her body rubbed closer to him, feeling the warmth it gave.
