Kuro glanced at the food and sighed. He shook his head."thank you, I appriciate it, but please, lets just get to the main idea, no need to do anything else." he said calmly. Suddenly, the drunken man was no more.

Tsuneo glanced after Tsukino and smiled slightly. He sighed and entred along with kuro, before just listening to them."So, Motoyasu-daymio, whats the plan?"

Motoyasu laughed and then drank his sake in one sip. "Energetic as always. That's why I like youngsters. Hahahaha!"

But you're still young yourself... that's how people always corrected him when he made that statement. It's just a habit of him, line memorised from years following his father in negotiations.

"As I've stated before, I'm going to overthrow the Emperor." Tomoyasu straightened. The jolly man from before was no more. His face was that of a cunning general. A hawk...no, to be precise, it was the face of a snake.

"In order to win, I need people's support. That's why I asked for you help, wa ga Ouji. After the Empire collapsed, a new era shall began. Your era. And the one who'll bring that downfall personally," he turned his gaze toward Tsuneo. "Is none other than Tsuneo-dono here."

He produced a sheet of paper from his kimono, something seemed to be prepared beforehand. In it was names.

"These are the list of Daimyos supporting our cause. The number grew by each passing by. Watasugi and Takada in the west, Ite in the far north...only a small numbers of retainers remained loyal to the Emperor. Our plan is a full-force attack simultaneously from every direction. What do you say, wa ga Ouji?"

The prince glanced at him and narrowed his eyes. He listented carefully to the man and nodded. He took a deep breathe and closed his eyes for a moment, over thinking it."Fine. I understand everything. I agree. "He said calmly.

Kuro was slightly afraid of the whole deal, but he wouldn't dare to admit. But there were worries. What if Tsuneo will fail? after all his father isn't all that weak. And he has a large army.

Tsuneo nodded and bowed to the man and then glanced at him."So, when do we start?"

Motoyasu smiled at Tsuneo. Always eager to fight...or was it because he's nearing the end of his journey?

"The time is one month from now. I'm going to spread this information that the prince is in our side. Next month, we will raise hell to the Empire. Tsuneo-san, I hope you're ready when the time comes," he looked at him specifically. "Yours is the blade to slay the Emperor. Make sure it won't be dull."

Kuro nodded and sighed."Alright. In a month it is then." He said calmly.

Tsuneo glanced at Motoyasu and said in a harsh, rough tone. Full of pride."Whether it's to slay the emperor or just cut the training doll, I am a samurai, my blade is never dull." He said and then stood up.

Kuro glanced at his friend and smiled slightly."is that everything?" He asked Motoyasu.

The rough tone didn't fail to reach Motoyasu's ears. However, he simply smiled. A samurai must had that kind of edge to win a battle. In that vein, he respected Tsuneo.

"That is all. Now, my prince, it would honor me so much if you would grace me with staying in my humble home. I'm sure it won't be satisfying, but it was the best I could give," he bowed at Kuro. "You are welcome to stay as well, Higurashi-kun. You're our strongest warrior. I won't give half-hearted treatment for someone of your caliber. Nevertheless, it's your freedom to go wherever you like. Just remember to ask me anything that you need. For now, please rest," he opened the sliding door and disappeared to another room.

Several maids entered in his place, asking them if they needed anything in particular.

Kuro nodded ."thank you. I would love to stay here. Thank you again." He said calmly. It was much better for him to stay in the large house instead of his small little shed. He glanced at Tsuneo and smiled"Higurashi, how about you?"

Tsuneo shook his head and sighed. He stood up and smiled a little."I have a small task to finish before I can stayanywhere else." He said and then stared at one of the maids."do you mind telling me how to get to Tengu's house?"

The maid nodded toward Kuro. "If you may, we will show you your room, my Lord."

The one answering Tsuneo, however, gasped in shock. She seemed to be hesitating, as if the answer would kill her. "Um...I'm sorry, Higurashi-sama...I don't know..." She was afraid that Tsuneo would hurt her if she answered. The Tengu residence, as well as the Kuukai clan's whereabouts, was a secret. Maids like her wouldn't be able to know where they was.

Kuro left with the other maid.

Tsuneo glanced at the lady and nodded."alright. Don't be afraid I won't hurt you." He said when he saw her terrified expression."Thanks for your help. "He said calmly and then started walking at the same trail as Motoyasu did, he had to go to Tsubaki again. He needed to speak to her.

Motoyasu was standing on the corridor, talking with one of his retainer. He glanced at Tsuneo knowingly. It looked like as if he'd predicted that he would come to him.

"Well, Tsuneo-dono. Is there anything that you need?" he smiled at him. A smile one couldn't be sure if it was real or artificial. That's just how he was.
