Samurai War (Kyux & namelesshero)

[Kyux]

As he herd his name, Tsuneo raised up his head swiftly and felt as if somebody removed a stone from his heart. She was fine. He sighed in a relief and then furroed his eyebrows in sadness when she came to her sisters body.

"She died as a her--" He stopped himself when he found Tsubaki hugging and holding to him. He winced slightly, the wound on his chest was still open, but he didn't care. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly, resting his chin on the top of her head.

Kurozuka Tengu watched the entire scene in complete silent. No words escaped his lips. Whatever he was thinking about, he didn't want to show it to the two who were embracing each other at the very moment. Several of his men wanted to call out to him, but decided not to. At that time, his expression wasn't that of the Kuukai Clan's leader. His expression was of a human. Of a father.

Finally he turned away so he didn't face Tsuneo. Siilently he trodded forward, leaving them. Before he disappeared from sight, however, he whispered. Words so soft it wouldn't reach anyone's ears. Anyone but Tsuneo. Those words were for him and him only.

"I leave my daughter to you."

With that said, he left.

Tsuneo raised his head and looked at Tengu leaving. He frowned slightly when he left but his next few words made him smile from ear to ear. As Tengu left, Tsuneo put his palms on Tsubakis cheeks and pressed his lips tightly against hers, kissing her as if he didn't see her for ages.

Even in the midst of everything, Motoyasu retained his playful smile. The same smile decorating his face as he walked toward the two love birds unexpectedly. Tsubaki nearly jumped when she heard his footsteps. This man...could it be that he's also a ninja?

"Congratulations on your victory, Tsuneo-dono. I guess that means it's all finished, eh?" He grinned. "I will personally make sure that the prince will be our next king. To serve below him won't be boring, I guess."

Well, what do you want to do now?" the daimyo waved his hand, as if sprinkling something to the ground. "I think our king Kuro-sama won't let you escape being his samurai, so I say let's stop your ronin traveling and stay in the new capital. What do you say?"

Tsuneo looked at Motoyasu and then let go of Tsubaki, only putting an arm round her waist. He glanced at the daimyo and put his hand on the swords sash."I would be more than delighted to serve as the kings samurai, Motoyasu-sama." He said and then bowed to him.

"Tsuneo-kun" A familiar voice has spoken. and then, the young new king came with his horse towards the three."I congraguate you with your win, but may yiou tell me where my fathers corpse is?" He asked, a hint of sadness accured in his tone.

Tsuneo nodded and bowed to him." I belive it's still in the castle Kuro..My king." He smiled and sighed in a relief."how about Muneyoshi and his family, where are they?"

Motoyasu grinned at the samurai. "Oh don't worry about him. Since our King agreed for me being the military leader, I've arranged for the family to join our kingdom as our loyal warriors. Surely the King won't mind? It's a request from your old friend," he bowed at Kuro, although playfully.

Tsubaki could sense it all. The nearing end of one's journey. She was sad about her sister; she was finally able to see her, but once again she'd been taken away. Although this time she didn't plan to chase her anymore. At least, not in the near future.

Because she's finally...

She leaned closer to Tsuneo, letting the man shouldered her entire weight. The grueling years had finally ended.
