The hate filled look in her eyes didn't change much. She flinched the tiniest bit, being slightly afraid of his tone and implications, but it was still mostly hate. He left the room then, throwing the clothes near her. Lovina debated actually changing. After a few moments, she decided to do as he said. The idea of bowing to this man was desgusting her, but he had her life in his hands now. Dying really wasn't something she wanted. And he was murdering pirate, after all. Killing her would be easy for him.

The clothes were simple, to her taste, she mentioned to herself briefly. She changed into two of the items, a long brownish-red skirt and cream colored blouse (which she noticed unfortunately revealed the tops of her breasts a little more than ordinarily), casting her own clothes into the corner. She opened the door to the deck, stepping out into the sunlight.

Antonio turned as he heard the door to his cabin open. He was pleasantly surprised by the slight change in her as he looked her over. The dress revealed a bit more of her breasts and Antonio was very pleased to discover she had those. Overall, he had to say that the young Italian senorita looked very good.

He grinned as he turned fully and began to speak to her.

"My dear little tomato, you look as lovely as you did earlier...No. You look lovelier ."

"I am NOT your tomato." Did this idiot realize she had an actual name? Or did he just not care? Lovina didn't really give a shit that he thought she was pretty. If she wasn't a pissed prisoner, she might have been a tiny bit flattered. But that was not likely. Besides, she could have sworn she saw him take a peek at her uncomfortably exposed breasts and her face turned red again. Well, this was just getting better and better now, wasn't it?

She walked to the edge of the ship, resting her arms and chin against the barring, staring out into the ocean. She refused to look in his direction, again because of the blushing. Damn this blushing.

Antonio chuckled, having seen the blush spread across her cheeks.

"So, my little tomato, do you have a name?"

He was cheerful, perhaps too cheerful, but that never deterred Antonio before. He quite enjoyed the despite her anger, she was still a girl deep down and blushed at her...slight exposure.

Lovina thought he'd never ask. She actually debated telling him for a moment with herself. Just to be difficult. But really, what was he going to do? If he knew her name, maybe he'd stop calling her a tomato. She was not a tomato! But really, she doubted it. She doubted he'd stop.

"My name is Lovina." she mumbled. Lovina Chiara Vargas.

"Lovina. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl."

Antonio walked over to her and stood next to her, looking out at the sea. He loved the feel of the wind before a storm, how he could smell the rain before it fell. He loved the sea, which was why he became a sailor and then a pirate. He loved the sea and nothing or no one else.

Huh. Nothing. She was actually surprised. No extrordinarily stupid comments or anything. Lovina was taken off guard. He came over next to her and she did shy away from his side, but didn't react too much otherwise. She saw his eyes as he looked out over the ocean. He looked absolutely smitten. Absolutely smitten with the ocean. Lovina did like the ocean as well, she supposed. But looking at him, she knew she would never love anything as much as he loved the sea.

"It's beautiful isn't it? The sea. There's nothing else like in the whole world."

He smiled softly, closing his eyes as he took a deep breath. The air smelled of salt and rain and bread, freshly baked. His cook had stayed aboard to prepare a special meal for his captain that included freshly baked bread. Antonio was happy. Happy to be at port and near the sea and to have such a loyal crew. But most of all, Antonio was happy to have a girl that made him enjoy himself. Oh he enjoyed sleeping with the local whores every once in while, but for years now, Antonio had wanted a girl to talk with.

"It is rather beautiful," Lovina mumbled, almost silently. Whether he heard or not, she didn't know. She might have dismissed anything he said as stupid, but she couldn't deny the lovliness of this veiw. He got to see this every day and she supposed she was jealous. He got to travel in all this beauty, his whole life. She was never destined for something so grand.

She shook her head. What was she thinking? He was a bloody murdering pirate and she could not be feeling envious towards him. Lovina almost felt sick again. Committing a deadly sin, and wasting it on a pirate. Being near him was already bad for her.

Antonio heard her mumble but chose to ignore it. The sea made him that way. Intolerant of those around him. He ignored those he didn't want to get angry at and grew angry at his crew, especially as he watched the sea from his window or the spot where he stood overlooking his crew.

Shaking his head, Antonio turned his head and smiled at Lovina.

"So, Seniorita Lovina, why were you working in that drafty church?"
