She wasn't surprised to see him out there on the deck. Actually, she was kind of glad. She had decided to stop fighting how she felt about him so much. "Buongiorno, capitano idiota," she greeted him, walking up next to him and leaning against the railing, looking over the ocean.

"Why do you do that? Call me such mean names."
Antonio looked at her briefly, curiously, before returning his gaze to the sunrise. It bothered him, but he was never exactly sure how to approach the subject.

"That was not that bad a name," she pointed out. She had called him much worse things. But he deserved an actual answer, she supposed. Hm. "Good question. I don't know. That's just how I talk," she said after a moment, shrugging. After a certain point, her mild insults were almost a term of endearment. "I don't rember how I learned to talk like that," she admitted.

"It's just...it's surprising some of the things you say. After all you lived in a church with a priest."
A bastard of a priest, but a priest nonetheless. Maybe it had been her mad mouth that had caused him to hurt her. Not that Antonio was justifying it, after all, seeing the man hit Lovina had made his blood boil.

She shrugged again. "Perhaps." Really, where had she picked up her mouth? "Maybe it was my grandfather," she offered. From what she could remember, he did have a bit of a mouth. He certainly didn't censor his mouth. While his vocabulary had been less violent, it was just as colorful.

"Your grandfather?" Antonio asked, quickly at her in shock. "What was he like? Is he still around?"
Antonio was curious about Lovina and her family. He knew Feliciano but other than that, the girl had supplied no information.

She had known this conversation was long time coming. She ducked her head a little. "Let's see... He was very energetic. Enthusiastic. Passionate. Never really taking life seriously, just going for the ride. He was very successful. The world was his." She sighed in he memories before continuing. "No, he's not around anymore. He was called off to war... He died in some battle."

"I'm sorry." Antonio whispered, before gathering the girl in a hug. He wanted to ask her so much more but decided against it for the time being.

For a moment, Lovina automatically stiffened against the hug, the same way she would have if it was Feli hugging her. But a few moments later, she calmed down and relaxed, leaning her cheek against his chest. She felt alright saying it though. There was so much more to say, but little by little would do it.

They stayed that way for a moment, before Antonio released her.
"I apologize. That was...forward of me."
He didn't feel bad about hugging her but he knew how she was. Lovina wasn't the most open of people but he hoped that one day she'd open up to him.
