The Pirate and the Priestess {Lovina + Cecily}

Lovina chuckled. That was a nicer way to put it than she would have done, and they all knew it. She glanced at Antonio. "So, really, what brought that on?"

[Cecily Phantom]

"I...wanted to break the silence and almost growled."
"So you ARE a bear!"
"I'm not a bear...." Antonio said, chuckling slightly. "Though I did kill one once."

[LovinaV]

Lovina cocked her head, her eyes widening. "What? Really?" She shouldn't be so surprised, he must have done more extreme things before. But really, a bear? "Dare I ask what circumstance that was under?"

[Cecily Phantom]

Antonio chuckled. "It's actually pretty funny. I was in England, don't ask why, and was wandering the forest when this huge bear came up to me. I was terrified, mind you, but I managed to kill him."
Feliciano simply stared at him in slight disbelief.

"Wow." That's... implausible. Lovina had a million questions about that one, but let it go. It was sort of funny to see Feliciano so impressed. "Hard to believe, I suppose." Her gaze drifted over him for a moment, settling on the knife strapped around his waist. Maybe not too hard to believe.

[Cecily Phantom]

The rest of breakfast involved Antonio regaling tales to to Feliciano of his "brave acts". Most of them were fake stories, but Feliciano didn't need to know, nor did he seem to care one way or the other.

For Lovina, the remainder of breakfast consisted of rolling her eyes and playing a game with herself of 'which stories of Antonio's are bullshit?' though she never knew if she was really winning or not. It didn't make a difference. All the stories were equally ludacris. but Feli was entertained, so what was it to her. She eventually looked up at Antonio. "Any more fantastic stories?" she asked with a sarcastic tone.

[Cecily Phantom]

"Actually, yes. Should I tell you about the time I met mermaids?"
"Mermaids?! Tell me! Tell me!!"
"Alright, calm down. Let's see...it was about five years ago and the sea was calm. So a few mates and I decided to take a swim. We didn't think anything of it until we heard enchanting voices. By the time we realized what was going on, we were surrounded by mermaids. At THAT time they were the most beautiful creatures I had seen." he said, sending a look to Lovina.

Subtlty, thy name was Antonio. Lovina felt her cheeks heating up again - God dammit, why did they have to so easily?! - and turned her head away slightly, looking at Feliciano and feighning disinterest. "Mermaids don't exist, idiot," she mumbled under her breath.

[Cecily Phantom]

Antonio chuckled. "Have you seen a mermaid?"
Feliciano decided to join in and poked her. "Yeah...have you?"
