It's been more than three hundred years since the defeat of the Heartless and the Organization. Sora's exploits are remembered only as legend, and his very existence is now questioned as well. In that time, a militant Space Empire called Ivalice has emerged and, using it's superior Gummi Ship armada, is conquering world after world to add to its territory. As the universe falls little by little to this growing threat, a crew of rebels who have proudly taken on the label of Space Pirate traverse the worlds as wanted outlaws who fight against the Empire with their Gummi Ship, the Little Jack. These youths carry with them objects thought to only exist in legend and fairy tale, Keyblades. These "Keyblade Pirates" will have to learn the true nature of their mythical weapons if they are to unlock their true power and find the Ultimate Treasure of the Universe.

Seems very interesting ( and by your pic im guessing you got a little inspired by the last season of super sentai.) Just have a few question about the state of the universe as it is now.

Will there be a difference in technology from the pirates/ military? And what general advances in technogy have happen in the worlds?

The military seems ( correct me if im wrongs) as the "villains", does mean they are the ones who can draw power from darkness? will nothing factions be able to choice between light and dark powers?

What will the military ranking be like? And will there be any sort of hierarchy for the pirates?

It's hard to answer some of your questions specifically without without giving anything away.

The long and short of it is, the Empire took Disney Castle fairly early on with ships made from older technology. Upon taking Disney Castle, the Empire was able to give its ships an overhaul with the castle's known Gummi technology and even expand its few ships into a massive armada. Basically, Disney Castle's Gummi Ship tech is what allowed to Empire to expand as much as it has. As for the Pirates, the Little Jack started off as an older ship like the first ones seen in the Empire's armada that has also been decked out with Gummi technology (mostly Pirated parts acquired by raiding Imperial ships and the like). The thing I want people to see in this RP is that Gummi Ships are no longer just starfighter-esque vessels, that there are now Gummi Cruisers invented by the Empire meant for blockading worlds and routes between them.



I was going to keep the Empire's homeworld a secret but I guess I might as well reveal it now. The Empire originated on Treasure Planet which, as you can see from the above map I selected, is pretty much directly linked to Disney Castle in terms of the star paths, meaning that Disney Castle was hit first. Imagine a vertical line was drawn on that map that was aligned with Disney Castle. Everything west of that is Imperial territory, meaning that worlds like Radiant Garden would be their frontier in the conquest. At least one of the pirates (the captain) is also originally from Treasure Planet and would have met his crew while on the run, most of them would likely be from worlds that were conquered and so they chose to join the pirate in the hopes of getting some payback from the Empire.

As far as Light and Dark are concerned, the Pirates start out in the middle. Whatever each one does throughout the RP will determine which way they lean, which means players will have to role play their characters to the ultimate light or darkside, and will not be allowed to just start off on either side.

Military ranking should be obvious. It's an armada of ships so they would obviously be using the Naval chain of command (Sailors, Petty Officers, Ensigns, Captains, Commodores, Admirals, etc). As for the Pirates, their chain of command is basically just Captain and Crew, maybe a de facto First Mate (whoever has the most tendency to take charge when the Captain isn't around) but that's it. And even then, the Captain only considers himself as such because the ship belongs to him, otherwise he treats the crews as more or less equals, with only few occasions where he puts his foot down and plays the Captain card.
