Aslan was behind the red curtain at The Mirage casino and hotel in Las Vegas preparing for another one of his blockbuster magic and comedy shows, wearing his black suit and his signiture black leather bowler hat. To him it was just another day in the life of a middle aged preformer, untill he decided to step through the curtain to greet the crowd that was waiting for him. He pushed a bit aside and stepped out with a smile to find the crowd scattering as black monsters and odd shadow men with weapons attacked the crowd and knocked what looked like hearts out of them.
"I know this is The Mirage but I don't really belive this..." he began to say as they creatures looked up at him. He then remembered he had his microphone on and that he just became the prime attraction. Some of the horde started to come at him as he backed up behind the curtain and ran back to where his first act was placed. It was the trunk escape quickchange trick, but they would be able to get after him there. He stopped and looked around as he tried to make sense of the situation. He turned around and saw one of the little buggers look in for him. They gaze met for a moment as the heartless and Aslan looked into the face of the other. Aslan quick darted left for the dressing room as a few Shadows and two flying pirates came after him. He stopped at the throwing knife trick and threw a few back at the flying pirates, but they had what seemed to be no effect. He went for the stage door hoping to seal himself outside of the stage but as he opened the door a large body stood there and looked down at him as a flying pirate attacked him and for his final moments he saw blackness all around .

Xemnas glared down at Raxone. He had watched him come in, and now that he was addressed, decided to speak.
"More or less. I'd like for us to be thought of as comrades," he began, "Now, Number XVIII, I need you to go and," he paused, "'collect' one of our own whom has not been met. It is a simple enough mission, and would interest you to do. Xelastar will open your utility path. Return to the City of Darkness and enter the Castle by foot- this is imperative. Inform Xelastar that you need to enter 'Zone 7', and all will be well," he explained.

She clenched her fist, trying to steady her stomach. Her vission was less blurred, but she still wasn't sure enough to navigate thru this dark area. She looked down. She was waring a white, nearly sleeveless shirt with buckles and straps down the front. Her pants were blue with ties down the sides, and she wore brown boots. It wasn't what she remembered wearing, but then again, she didn't remember much. She looked out over the land with her green and yellow eyes. There was an ocean, with waves beating on the shore. It was strangely familiar, but she had never been here before; it was all black.

Maddox's head spun. He looked down at himself, wearing something completely different than what he had on earlier. He felt different also, felt more empty. He looked around, still dizzy and disoriented. He laid back down.

"A Nobody," Raxone repeated the information, ticking off on his fingers, "Not part of the organization in 'Zone 7.' Bring him back by foot. Right, I'll be back in a few."

Apparently, this job would interest him... why? And why didn't Xemnas just tell him where to go, instead of having Xelestar direct him? Whatever. "Zone 7, Xel," he said as he entered the Grey Room. She opened the door and he stepped through.

    Xelastar gazed hollowly at Raxone.
"I trust that Xemnas has sent you on a mission. Am I correct?" she uttered rathe flatly.
Reaching out her arm, she opened a pathway of Darkness.
"This will take you to the Dark Shore," she continued, "I will be unable to retreive you once you enter."

She heard a strange sound, like a large object being dropped, but it was muffled. She looked on as a black oval opened up from nowhere, shimering and glowing, sefusing darkness from within. She took a step back from it, unsure of what to make of this new development.

The world... A forest as far as he could see. A land of fresh sport, a land of plenty. This was the type of world where he could thrive. The type of world where his power was the force of a god. The forest called to him, with game as rich and diverse as the natives who roamed the land. They were all the same, but they clung to 'tribes' and believed themselves to be inhabitants of a world crafted by nature.

Xroncon, was at peace in this world. This was a world made of dangers, and rewards. For every animal he saw, there was a new hunt. But the most dangerous game was the natives. They were human, but their skin was darker than his, and they were inferior. None of them possessed a tenth of his power, but their unpredictable nature made them worthy prey. One of those dark skinned fools had tried poisoned food to kill Xroncon, but the mighty hunter did not eat things he did not kill for himself. The kill had to be Xroncon's, or it wasn't worth devouring.

From atop a tree, Xroncon surveyed his world. Nearby there was a sea, full of salty and tasteless water he could not drink. The natives rowed past in canoes and other devices, but that was not what he was watching for. Across the sea he could see larger things moving against the currents. They were large canoes at a glance, but Xroncon knew they were more. The flags draped across them told him the story. They were also hunters, here to steal his glory.

He would not let go of this world... He would never let go of this New World.

(Anybody want a hint as to where Xroncon is located?)

Eden's day went like most, generally heading to the jungle and doing parkour until he felt too sore to move. But somehow each day he managed to force himself to go farther and farther pushing his normal boundaries as a free runner. It was the one thing that could seperate him from the rest of the world, the haters and the overbearing parents jsut everything. He knew the dangers of going to the jungle but he couldn't help it, he just always felt drawn to the place.

One day though as he was launching his body through the tight expanses of the jungle, He noticed figures launching through the trees beside him and one thought went through his head, the jungle finally had enough of him, they wouldn't allow him to intrude anymore. These black figures then jumped him and he did his best to fightback but nothing could touch them. The last thing he could remember seeing were bright yellow eyes and then nothing but blackness.

"Right, right, unable, whatever," he stepped through, heedless of her quasi-warning.
He found himself on something like a beach, but it was dark. A Dark Shore, of course. He wasn't sure if it was the lack of light, or just the color, but it seemed like the sand and the water were all shades of gray. He could just make out a figure in lighter clothing. White shirt, blue pants. She stuck out like a sore thumb here. And she was looking up at him.
"Hey," he greeted, "You look even more lost than me."

She looked on as a boy exited the dark shape, causing it to close after him. As he approached, he almost earned the shine of recognition in her eyes- almost. She reached out weakly, still quite disoriented, and seemed to be trying to grab onto his cloak. As she lurched forward, some of her hair slid over her left shoulder, with most of it still behind her back. She righted herself, having almost fallen, by grabbing tightly onto a black, pointed, sooty rock.
    "Who... are you?" she asked.
Not remembering exactly how to deal with people, or even that she spoke, this was the best her mind could muster. She seemed shocked at her words, at her own voice- like something that sounded familiar coming out of her like that was completely bizzare. She stood straight, brushing the hair out of her face. As she did this, her hand also lightly touched her own lips, her fingers brushing against them, as if to check what they were. The motion was so slight that it was unlikely that it was noticed, but at least she knew for sure she had a mouth now. She looked down at this boy and smiled, not sure what to do, feeling that reaction was the right one. The fog was gone from her mind, but not it just felt... empty.

From out of the darkness he began to see again. It was a small somewhat old fahioned town with orange buildings around the empty square he stood in.
I feel strange. he though as he moved his arms and legs and looked around. No fear, no adrenalin rush just that null feeling you get from novacain or what I would suggest to be the feeling of being Ben Stein.
He looked at his arms and saw his clothing had changed into a cloak of sorts. He quickly grabbed for his head and felt his hat with a sigh of relief.
"I thought I did the tricks around here." said in a semi-flat manner that was a suprise to him. It didn't seem funny which was odd, he was suprised as he would normally have chuckled at that. His mind began to work as he hurried towards the nearest street. He wondered where he was and what happened. He darted into an alleyway and tried to remember everything. He slowly let his mind drift into the abyss of his former life.
