Juliet smiled and sat at the table with him. She took a quick drink of the shake after sittig down. She looked up at the sky and around at other people to avoid looking directly at Tanner. It probably made her look like she had ADHD.
Chase played softly and mumbled the lyrics to himself. The sounds around him were calming. He felt at home sitting in the sand with his guitar in his hands.
Kate looked at the picture and grinned. She plopped down on the sand next to Chase. She watched the waves as they splashed the shore.
Tanner noticed she was quiet and a smile crossed his face. He leaned over, giving her a gentle kiss on the cheek. "Why you no eat any fries?" He asked playfully, trying to get her to smile and he moved his hands to her waist and stomach, starting to tickle her, knowing it was a major weakness for her but he used this as an advantage.

Juliet screeched as he tickled her. She started laughing so hard that she snorted. She twisted trying to avoid his hands, but she knew she couldn't escape and she began begging."Tanner!" she cried, "Stop! Please! Don't!"
Chase looked at Kate as she sat down beside him. "Hey there, gorgeous," he said with a smile.
Kate smiled back at him. "Nothing but the usual. What about you, guitar boy?"
She nodded at his guitar. "Nice song."
Tanner laughed hard as Juliet squealed and twisted, he pulled her into a hug, holding her closely. "No being sad." He whispered to her with a smile, releasing his grip after a few moments and he took a fry and opened the lid of his milkshake, dipping it in the cold chocolate and ate it with a grin.

Juliet smiled slightly and ate a fry. She said nothing as she looked at the shake she held in one hand. There wasn't much she could think of to say, but she managed to not look sad so she could avoid being tickled again.
Chase laughed, "Thanks. I only kept playing because it calms me down, though. I'll never make it anywhere with this thing."

"Are you okay?" Tanner asked, knowing her for so long and it was easy to spot when she was upset. "Tell Tanner." He said with a playful smile, resting his chin softly against her shoulder.

Kate nodded. "Yeah. I always thought songs and suh calmed me down too... But turns out there is nothing to calm me down." She grinned and took a snapshot of the ocean again.
"Damn," She whispered," Life is good."
"I'm just thinking," Juliet said. It was nearly true, but not quite. She didn't know how to tell him exactly what she was feeling at the moment.
Chase smiled and looked at her. "You're really pretty, you know?"
