Cathrine didn't put up a fight. She shivered as Lucifer followed the markings with her nails. She put her hand into Oku's once they were released, her eyes narrowing at the dark lord. "I have forsaken heaven but my body can't touch the taint. A young boy with angelic traits made sure of that. He...he thought that Oku was a monster no matter how much I explained to him that the angels he worshiped were the true monsters. An incident happened a few days ago with an injured fairy, I had been paralyzed for a good while. Well instead of listening to me he did an ancient ritual which rid me of everything. The taint I had and the paralisation. Trust me when I say that I do not follow my people. I've gone AWOL."

"child do you truly wish to be one of us. a forsaken, free of the holy guidance, and to care for those who the heavens forsake. i can grant the desire you seek, but it will have a price. you must ether agree or not, before the price can be given. think carefully for there will be only one shot at this. " as he spoke his words echoed with a wicked tone. oku held cathrine's hand, as he would follow her into the bows of the abyss, if it meant he could be with the woman he love, and the child she was with.

Cathrine looked at Lucifer. She wondered what the price could be. She put her hand over her stomach with worry. She didn't want to lose another child. She bit her lip as she looked at Oku. She smiled at him, feeling his love for her. She knew that this would be for their protection. She looked at the demon lord. Her heart pounding in her chest. "Everything has it's price. I accept your terms, Lucifer, whatever they may be."

the wicked fallen angel walked up to her, as cathrine was suddenly ripped away from oku. before ether of them could react. cathirne was pulled away, as she was soon dropped on the old soil of a world before modern times. the demonic angel looked over at a young maiden, as he pointed at her.

" that woman, kill her, and you will be granted your desire. show me you are deserving of the darkness which envelopes you from desire. the warmth you have stolen from the abyss, show me the depth of it's nurturing prowess with in your heart." as the demonic lord spoke, her voice echoed, as she waited and watched. what cathrine would not realize until she saw the young maiden's face was, this was the same woman which she saw in oku's past. the one he had protected from the shadows, the one he suffered for so long ago however she was younger now then the images from the demon's mind which were shown to her from the game.

Cathrine's eyes opened wide as she saw the woman. She then glared at Lucifer. "Don't you even care that one of your own loves that woman?" She didn't glance back at the woman. She knew Oku would hate her if she killed her. She also knew that now wasn't her time to die. "I'm sorry but I love Oku too much to give him the pain of losing this woman before her time. She isn't supposed to die now."

"it's simple ether you do this, and free his recourse for the impending battle during this era, or you lose both the demon, and the child. the choice is yours. as right i can not destroy you, but the demon blood inside of you is mine to manipulate, as the father of such child can be prevented from meeting you. your memories of him will remain, but he will never know you, nor will you two become close again. " as she spoke the words hissed like a hot poker along the spine. the devil was indeed cruel, using the promise of a deal, and the leverage of fate to entice the deal, however it seemed the fallen one would not ask a second time.

Cathrine hung her head. She knew the dark lord was right. She bit her lip and looked toward the woman. "Forgive me Oku. This is for us." She said as she pulled out her sword. She bit her lip as she walked toward the woman. Her wings were hidden from view. She didn't want to show herself as an angel. She wondered if she could really kill an innocent. Even Oku didn't do that.

the young maiden turned to face cathrine, seeing the blade. the young lady smiled, as she soon pulled up her basket. to the angelic maiden's surprise, this young lady was working as a weapon repair, and enhancement smith. she thought this was a new customer, as she called for her brother to come out, and help this woman. not thinking about it, as this was an era of war, the young lady introduced herself, as caitlyn. the name was written about, as this human was the one which turned the old war in the favors of the angels, however cathrine new the price.

Cathrine looked at Caitlyn as she introduced herself. The angelic woman shook her head at her. "I'm sorry miss." She said as she gripped her blade tightly in her hand. This was her price. "Forgive me Oku." She plunged the blade into the woman's stomach. Tears ran down her cheek and her face was apologetic as she looked at her. She wished that she didn't need to go down this road. Now the future was going to be different.

caitlyn's face was sudden full of shock and horror. as she tried to speak, the strength of her body left her, as blood spewed out every time she tried to say a word. as she parished, cathrine could feel the entity which was developing inside her begin to fade. the events of the time line she came from began to change. her memories were slowly fading as well. lucifer walked over to her, as it smirked, changing from the gentle fallen angel to a monstrous tyrant. patting her on the head. the fallen one told her to endure, the deed was done, as she would receive her gift once the time line changed. she and oku would have there life out side the laws of light and dark, unaffected by the war, however this would also bring them new dangers. as he warned her. a warm glow could be felt, as cathrines body felt horrible pain shoot through it. markings began to warp into something foul, as if it was not from oku but lucifer himself she had been marked by. it was not long before her mind showed her memories of the demon replaced by the devil itself. as he watched, with the young lady dead in this time, the heavens would lose there most vital player the arc angels. as such cathrine would not be trained to battle, or would she become injured or meet the demon she had fallen in love with. oku was no longer a doctor, as he had no reason to help people, his existence became a mystery to both sides, as he was now a rogue feeding on ether demons or angels. as she had changed all this, cathrine was witnessing the time line first hand.
