The world was devastated by an unknown virus that was later called the D Virus (Destruction Virus). Worse then the black plague the D-Virus went air born around 2:30 on the 23rd of September. Millions were infected upon release of the deadly toxin. The attack was the work of a former Miltary group that turned radical back in the late 90's. In secret in a lab in the island of Cuba they created a strain of virus. Once infected with, killed the host and then brought them back to life in a less human form, where the host resorted to its primary function, find food.
October 1st 2012
One month after its initial use on the human population numbers dropped to the very low. Only maybe a million humans scattered across the whole of the united states as still alive. Infection had spread to its maximum range of all 50 states, entire cities fell to the D-Virus. The fires cross the United States faster then the virus did. Initial vaccines were created to counter act the virus but all proved failed. Other measures were discussed among the cabinet members of the U.S. Government whom sought refuge in the Applications mountains in a base constructed for epidemic precautions.
November 24th 2013
One Year after infection, now at best only 500,000 humans remain alive. Many fighting just to survive for the food they scavenge. Resources are minimal now, barely anything is left to scavenge. The U.S. is nothing more then a wasteland for the infected. The government of the U.S. excepts the consequences of plan TA (Total Annihilation) No cure can be found for the virus strain, humans infected are decided to be to far gone to help now and immediate death is to be administered
December 8th 2014
Operation TA is put into effect, a dangerous chemical once inhaled by the infected, destroys the brain and kills the host, is enacted. Chemical is a success but dwindling population is affected by the TA Chemical and in turn die as well. U.S. sinks down to minimal life. Risks are accepted as the infected go down all around the United States.
January 2015
A new day has dawned as the infection is over, life is minimal but survivors now attempt to rebuild their shattered world and lives.
June 30th 2016
One year after infection city's has begun to spring up, new life is beginning to form.
July 13th 2020
8 Years after infection the United States has found new life. Cities have been rebuilt and human population has gone up slowly. The former government has been re-established and is in control on the dwindled but growing population.
October 6th 2021
A new threat becomes evident, a new virus even more deadlier the D-Virus is possibly in the works. In retalliation to this Event Z.A.S (Zombie Assault Force) a group of men and woman trained under one of the sole survivors of the D-Virus is formed to combat the new threat.
october 25th 2021
Z.A.S flys to Cuba to site zero to infiltrate the terrorist lab and end any possible threat of the new Virus. This is where the story begins...
OOC: Welcome Welcome to my new thread. Here we go not gonna bore you with a lot of words. This Role play Revolves around a group called the Z.A.S and Elite group of men and woman trained to combat the possible threat of a new Virus. When the role play starts you will be on a cargo plane to Cuba where you will then proceed to the lab and infiltrate to neutralize the threat.
