You weren't that far off Orion. Lion-man of a sort. Zurith is a Manticore. Body of a VERY large Lion. Wings of a dragon, tail of a giant scorpion and a human head. big kitty.

OH and sales for this month are officially more than double the number from April. *happy dance*
More than 1/4 of the way to making the same as my courier job with my book sales.
Bit rapid but thought would slide another post in while Callistan was waking up again and Sven was off doing what he is doing.
Another lovely day over here in the UK and I can report that I do not have a hangover after the garden party.
You have been a lucky one, dodging hangovers left and right. I didn't want to wake her too soon, wanting to give you time with the scene before I invaded.
Pockets, shall I wait for one more reply from Zurith before sleeping beauty wakes?
Go ahead throw in a post if you can Lils. I can wait a bit for more from our favorite Manticore.
Lils> Very funny! [/sarcasm]
(oh, I guess you might not have been talking about me. I've been away for a couple of days, so that's why I automatically assumed it was directed at me.)
On a more serious note, things have been tough for me the last week or so. There's also a tropical storm coming (remember I'm in Florida), so I might go inactive (very small chance) due to power issues. Now, for the other things I'll briefly mention:
Living with bipolar disorder among other things is not fun when you keep cycling. I made some medication adjustments, and unfortunately, it seemed to make me more depressed, rather than levelling things out. Still working that out.
Also, another thing which REALLY annoys me is that I couldn't register for any classes for the first half of the summer semester because supposedly I 'need' to take a pre-algebra level course (stuff like negative numbers, fractions, etc. I could do that when I was five!), and on top of that an elementary level algebra course (again, something I could do when I was a LOT younger. I've shown the people in charge of my program what classes I've taken elsewhere (did some online from Stanford, then some during two years of pursuing a bachelor's degree, AND took both the SAT and the SAT II math test), but nooo, they don't say "Okay Swan, you don't have to take those courses.". To me it's one of the worst insults imaginable since in my second year at college (sophomore, whatever), I had already proven a mathematical theorem. I wasn't able to publish it due to health issues, but at the end I only needed to make some minor adjustments before it was ready to be submitted. And at the suggestion of my advisor, I prepared to submit it to the Pi Mu Epsilon Journal. (Pi Mu Epsilon is the National Mathematics Honorary Society in the US, for those of you who don't know. Even if it had been rejected, the fact that I was preparing something a mathematics professor thought was worthy of submission SHOULD mean something! I still have my old papers and notes, as well as the revisions I made as the Spring term progressed.))
Okay, rant over. The tropical storm has arrived, there's this deluge of water going on outside my bedroom windows.
